Elvira: Mistress of the Dark will be released on 4K Ultra HD on November 12 via Arrow Video. Sara Deck designed the cover art for the 1988 horror-comedy; the original poster is on the reverse side.

Cassandra Peterson stars as her horror hostess alter ego and co-wrote the script with Sam Egan (The Outer Limits) and John Paragon (Pee-wee’s Playhouse). James Signorelli (Saturday Night Live) directs. W. Morgan Sheppard, Daniel Greene, Jeff Conaway, Susan Kellermann, and Edie McClurg round out the cast.

Elvira: Mistress of the Dark has been newly restored in 4K with Dolby Vision and uncompressed stereo 2.0 audio. Special features are listed below, where you can also see more of the packaging.

Having just quit her job as a Los Angeles TV horror hostess, Elvira receives the unexpected news that she’s set to inherit part of her great aunt Morgana’s estate. I used to be a pretty big Daniel Greene fan. Then, after awhile, I just...stopped watching his stuff. I think it started to fizzle out when he took a lazy dig at Christianity when explaining why he was agnostic (yes, Daniel. We know the Crusades were bad. We also weren't the only ones who did it but okay). For the same reason, I stopped watching Amanda the Jedi because of her cruel "God not real" quote which could've come straight from r/atheism. The reason I mention this is because I remember her and Daniel used to collab a lot and I liked Daniel so I wondered: "Is it just me? Is she really cool? Maybe she's not actually mean because ya know, Daniel's pretty cool."

Turns out, haha, Daniel may not actually be pretty cool.

Daniel has made a response. I'm going to include that below.

At this time it seems convincing, at least to me, that Daniel has had people lie about him assaulting them. User krippe90 posted the response link in one of the comments but I would prefer everyone be aware of the updated facts on this post.

I've removed my dislike from his initial short response and my like from Naomi's video, and I've decided to re-subscribe to Daniel's channel. But I know the cheating can leave a bad taste in people's mouths, so feel free to at least hear his response but do nothing else.

I felt very angry when it happened. I was very uncharitable about his response and my actions reflected it, even as minor as they were. It still feels wrong and gross, the entire thing a mess of mangled relationships, so I can at least understand washing your hands of the whole thing completely.

If you're angry and want to do something, there are great charities that help with victims of sexual violence, like RAINN, which I've donated to in the past. And then go do something else.

Fucking hell.
