Also has night vision // Has the ability to heal most injuries by touching it with his paw. Works on injuries that could be fatal, but can't bring back anyone to life. Doesn't work on illnesses.

Physical appearence: Short, skinny male cat. He has long, plain black fur, which is usually messy and unkempt. A claw is missing from his right paw, it has been ripped out in battle. From time to time, dark circles appear under his eyes due to his fucked up sleep schedule. He has narrow, dark blue eyes, and very thin pupils from being a darkness element. At the end of the G2 arc, he gains a scar over his left eye. He wears a ripped jean coat and a tight, black collar-like necklace with a perfectly polished piece of clear quartz. He also wears a golden ring on his right paw after getting married. He often was a cold, hateful glare as his default expression.

Relationships:

Mother: Lily — Healing element. Worked as a nurse at Nekomachi Hospital, later murdered by Doku

Father: Shadow — Darkness element. Worked as a volunteer hero as the Elements Team's leader. Murdered by Poison when Nighty was 5 years old

Half-twin brother: Doku — Venom element. Born from a drunk night between Lily and Poison. Lily immediately sent him to an orphanage, so Nighty never knew him... Until he showed up himself

Wife: Shady — Shadow element. Her and Nighty were childhood best friends, and met again as adults. She is his one and only motivation, the light in the darkness

Son: Whitey — Darkness & Healing element hybrid. Whitey was born just when the conflict seemed to end with the Evil Elements, and Nighty was very protective of him right from the beginning. Him and Nighty were extremely close from the moment he opened his eyes.

Daughter: Shade (original name: Árnyék) — Shadow & Healing element hybrid. (to be added)

Ancestor: Lady Luna — Darkness element. She was the ruler of DarkLand back in the BG1-2 era. Her bloodline was haunted by the demon Mind for thousands of years, who is secretly responsible for countless deaths of Nighty's ancestors

Personality & Beliefs

Personality — Nighty is harsh and mean at first. This is his protective mechanism; He does not want to be hurt. He kept this attitude up for so long that his original personality faded into the background. He usually acts aggressive, often violent, not afraid to use his claws as an argument. But once you get to know him, he is pretty different. He still has a snarky style, but he tries his best to be much more calm and tolerable around his loved ones

Hero — His father, Shadow, used to work as a hero in the infamous Elements Team. Him and Nighty were always extremely close. When he got murdered by his own teammate, it shook Nighty, who was only a child back then. Years after the incident, he still decides to help reunite the Elements Team with the other members' descendants. But as he tries to keep his father's memory a sacred one, he has to realized that his reputation has always been stained, and not everything is in black and white

Prey — Nighty's school years were rough. Everyone knew his father's name, but no one knew him really. He became prey, the child of someone weak and useless, as if being a coward was in their blood. His classmates made fun of him, and soon it turned into violence. That's how the old jean coat that once belonged to Shadow became an unrecognisable mess, and how Nighty learned that no one should be trusted

Predator — This abuse affected his view on the world; It's Eat or Be Eaten. He built this shell around himself, and let no one in, pushing away anyone who was already there. Nighty's mistakes mainly include him using Claws over Brains; Being too quick to attack for the slightest "threats". He scared everyone away with his cruel and dismissive attitude, until one day he finally realized that this is not right.

Self-Hatred — His self-worth wasn't spared from the bloodstains either. The cats around him quickly taught him that he's nothing more than a grain of sand in the desert; A worthless scrap of fur. His toxic and cold mother had the biggest role in this. Her overwhelming expectations and needless comments made him doubt everything about himself; His body, his weak points, his life choices. This soon led to self-hatred, refering to himself as pathetic and ungrateful for what he has. Self-harm was also not rare for him, from refusing food or forcing himself to vomit, to using his own claws as punishment

Anxiety — Nighty often feels troubled. He always had this feeling that everyone will leave him eventually, or that he'll cause his loved ones' demise. He likes to be in control of everything, even from the background. He despereatly tries to protect everything he has, often crossing certain limits. He tends to think of others as fragile pieces of glass, instead of actual cats, and he also forgets about their needs for his own feeling of safety.

Safe Zone — After long years of loneliness, he finally found his peace among the cat of the Element Team. Sparker (original name: Szikra) was the very first cat to approach him, and hang on his neck until they became offical friends. He showed Nighty that it's not a shame to be vulnerable, and helped him to open up about his feelings. When Nighty and Shady met again, and soon got married, Nighty finally felt like his life was really worth something. Him and Shady help each other through the greatest and worst times, making sure to let the other know that they're safe

Habilidades Editar super Sonic possui diversas habilidades super poderosas como a capacidade de manipular o tempo o espaço e a realidade, isso tudo graças ao poder do controle do caos uma habilidade bastante comum entre os usuários da energia do caos (ao contrario do que muitos pensão essa transformação não necessita de anéis para se manter pois em muitos jogo vemos que Sonic pode se transformar em super mesmo mão tendo nenhum anel), com relação a suas outras habilidades ele é capaz de voar a uma velocidade massivamente acima da velocidade da luz, possui uma virtual invulnerabilidade (ou seja não se pode lhe causar danos físicos, de nenhuma maneira), uma força incomensurável (foi capaz de causar danos a deuses super poderosos como: Dark gaia o deus das trevas (cabendo ressaltar que Dark Gaia tinha o tamanho de um CONTINENTE), e Solaris, o deus do sol e do tempo (que foi dito no jogo que seu corpo era quase pratica mente indestrutível), ele também é capaz de usar todos os poderes do caos como por exemplo: Chaos Spear (lanças do caos) o usuário libera varias rajadas de energia do caos em forma de lanças, Chaos Blast (explosão do caos) o usuário concentra grande parte da energia do caos em volta de seu corpo e depois libera toda essa energia em uma explosão de energia que destrói tudo ao seu redor, dependendo da quantidade de energia que use poderia destruir uma galaxia ou um universo inteiro, arrow of light (seta de luz) e uma habilidade que só se pode usar na super forma o usuario concentre grande parte de sua energia e depois se lança na direção de seu inimigo como um meteoro de luz, spear of light (lanças de luz) o usuario dispara varias rajadas de energia (a diferença desse ataque para as lanças do caos é que elas são brancas avermelhadas e as lanças do caos são amarelas avermelhadas).

Tuva Moodyson, deaf reporter at the local paper, has a fortnight to investigate the deaths before she starts her new job in the south. A blizzard moves in. Residents, already terrified, feel increasingly cut-off. Tuva must go deep inside the Grimberg factory to stop the killer before she leaves town for good. But who’s to say the Ferryman will let her go? 

Review

Having just finished reading Dark Pines and loving Tuva and the quirky cast of characters found in Gavrik I was eager to dive into Red Snow and what I found was another chilling and slightly unnerving look into the town and all the residents. Gavrik is such a chilling little town and some of the characters leave you feeling down right disturbed they all have some sort of creepy vibe to them that on more than one occasion left my skin crawling, some of them seem right sinister at times. Then there is the other characters that you just end up totally loving Tuva being the main one for me, I just totally rooted for her and her friendships are just so lovely you really don't want her to leave them all behind, at least that's the way I felt. Red Snow picks up a few weeks/months after the incidents of Dark Pines with a new murder/suicide mystery to solve and plenty of new characters to get engrossed by. Although this setting is beautifully written with plenty of descriptive atmosphere I will say I quite missed the atmosphere of the dark forest filled with all its animals that scare Tuva that complete sense of dread she feels in there was so vivid in Dark Pines although this one makes up for it with the atmospheric winter weather Red Snow was a creepy and compelling read that left me wanting more but completely disturbed at the same time and I can't wait to see what Tuva will be up to next time. About The Author 

Will Dean grew up in the East Midlands, living in nine different villages before the age of eighteen. He was a bookish, daydreaming kid who found comfort in stories and nature (and he still does). After studying Law at the LSE, and working in London, he settled in rural Sweden. He built a wooden house in a boggy clearing at the centre of a vast elk forest, and it's from this base that he compulsively reads and writes. He is the author of Dark Pines.
