Hope I'm doing this right... Requesting Tron x Clu for the Types of Kisses prompt list, "long, slow kisses in the afterglow, fingers woven through hair and hearts beating in unison." (I mean, I know programs probably don't have a heartbeat, but... *it's the vibe*)

Clu doesn’t get to see Tron this blissed out nearly often enough. The security program is limp beneath him, face tucked against Clu’s throat as he catches his breath. He’s beautiful like this. Relaxed. Disheveled. The otherworldly circuits that map his shell are still stained violet. Clu can feel their energy cycling in unison, warm and lazy. 

They’re not arguing. Not thinking about ISOs or gridbugs or Flynn. Not worrying about timelines or defects or responsibilities.

It’s perfect.

Tron rumbles when Clu presses closer for another kiss. It’s a slow, easy exchange. Gentler than before. Tron spends what little energy he has left raking a hand through Clu’s hair. His other arm is draped low on the admin’s waist, holding him in place.

“I’m not going anywhere,” Clu murmurs. 

[I know.] Tron’s tone is authoritative, for all that the program is (currently) not. He holds Clu tighter.

Well, the past couple years at uni helped me realise I really struggle with drawing vehicles of all kinds haha. But also, Tron as a whole! Everyone's likeness is very hard to capture, and I might need to try again sometime soon. I think the only likeness that worked in my artstyle 2-3 years ago was Lora. I need to draw them again soon :')

SOOOO MANY. It is so easy to get inspired all the time by everyone! And the list is always changing and growing! Lately, I've been looking at a lot of art by Georges Beuville (illustrator/painter, worked in advertising, sculpture, set design, comics, and film, etc) and Barron Storey (illustrator/graphic novelist, worked in fine arts but I know of him through The Sandman comics ofc lol).

Important note: As a junior data analyst, you won't be asked to design a data model. But you might come across existing data models your organization already has in place.

What is data modeling?

Data modeling is the process of creating diagrams that visually represent how data is organized and structured.  These visual representations are called data models. You can think of data modeling as a blueprint of a house. At any point, there might be electricians, carpenters, and plumbers using that blueprint. Each one of these builders has a different relationship to the blueprint, but they all need it to understand the overall structure of the house. Data models are similar; different users might have different data needs, but the data model gives them an understanding of the structure as a whole. 

Conceptual data modeling gives a high-level view of the data structure, such as how data interacts across an organization. For example, a conceptual data model may be used to define the business requirements for a new database. A conceptual data model doesn't contain technical details.

Logical data modeling focuses on the technical details of a database such as relationships, attributes, and entities. For example, a logical data model defines how individual records are uniquely identified in a database. But it doesn't spell out actual names of database tables. That's the job of a physical data model.

Physical data modeling depicts how a database operates. A physical data model defines all entities and attributes used; for example, it includes table names, column names, and data types for the database.

Data-modeling techniques

There are a lot of approaches when it comes to developing data models, but three common methods are the Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Data Dictionary diagram. ERDs are a visual way to understand the relationship between entities in the data model. UML diagrams are very detailed diagrams that describe the structure of a system by showing the system's entities, attributes, operations, and their relationships. As a junior data analyst, you will need to understand that there are different data modeling techniques, but in practice, you will probably be using your organization’s existing technique.

Hell yeah! There are definitely a couple things I want to explore that I haven't done before.

I'm mostly going to try and write shorter fics, which I'm very new to. I tend to be a "Longform Or Bust" kinda writer, so we'll see how this resolution to write more short pieces is gonna turn out...

Trope-wise, I'm thinking of maybe doing a time travel fic in the Tron verse (picturing pre-Legacy Grid era Tron waking up with memories of Rinzler - idk, I might call it "Backwards Compatible" xD). That one concept art of a program bathhouse on the Grid is also living rentfree in my head still, practically begging for a fic...

Now if I wanted to really challenge myself, I'd try to write Gen. (But yeah... Not gonna happen xD)
