Ok tbh i have a hard time imagining lighthearted aus where dave actively Chooses a job where he has to do a violence, like, if theres no literal apocalypse to stir up the savior complex. so every au in my brain just inevitably becomes a blues brothers type au. Theres musical shenanigans. dave causes millions in property damage. the one time you see him take off the shades hes on his knees in front of his jilted ex (who has a machine gun), covered in mud, saying "id never hurt ya baby, you know i love ya!" to show how soulful his eyes are so they can steal one last kiss before he drops them like a hot potato and takes for the hills. Ha, hi anon! Lumi here :P There's ten of us non-Homestucks and to be honest, it's kind of just a feelaround? Layla did most of the writing for this one but didn't really know how to describe how I write, so she let me answer it in final. I like using a lot of little emoticons ^^ Also all my friends tell me I talk kind of yassified?? Nnnnot sure if that carries over into how I write but I like to think I'm coming off as friendly and casual :)

Let me see. Layla (in her own words) says she gets weary and flustered easily, so her words drag together and her sentences get really long. Yoi gets vey excited so she uses a lot of !!!'s and usually foregos caps since she's so casual. Qiu Kit and Koko all have really good grammar in their own ways, liiiiike... Qiu uses a lot of big words since he's a writer, Kit is very curt and to-the-point, and Koko doesn't actually use that many contractions! Tao always puts spaces between her words and her punctuation since there's always a little delay between what she says and what she conveys, if that makes sense?? Aaah, Xinyan uses a lot of all-caps and writes with a drawl, Barb uses a lot of cute little emojis and Shoby is very straightforward, so her texts are always short and sweet.

It's kind of all just subconscious? Just kinda finding out what fits and what represents our voices best, it's a little guessing game til you get it right ^^
