Scammer pretending to be in Palestine v2
This post has been remade with better info! Please go to this one:
Got an ask from someone claiming to be in Palestine needing mutual aid? Unfortunately there is a scammer going around and it’s likely the ask you got sent is the same one being sent by multiple accounts who target users interacting with Palestine posts. These blogs use the text/images off a real fundraiser and then post it here pretending to be the person it’s made for. Their accounts are usually only a few days old and they don’t interact beyond the ask/follow. Lately they might make the link to their PayPal account in different colors or claim their GoFundMe is pending so you will assume the real one is theirs. They don’t have any GoFundMe’s set up. They steal from them. If you need proof of something being stolen, searching the text of their post in a search engine should pull up the source. If you know how to report PayPal accounts, please report those used by the scammers.
(Moved to new list)
Below is a growing list of fake/stolen names used across the accounts:
Nour Samar | maryline lucy | Fred Odhiambo | Jeff Owino | Valentine Nakuti | Conslata Obwanga | JACINTA SITATI | David Okoth | Martín Mutugi | Daudi Likuyani | William Ngonyo | Fred Agy | George Ochieng | BONFACE ODHIAMBO | Sila Keli | John Chacha | benson komen | Alvin Omondi | Jacinta Sitati | Daudi Likuyani | Noah Keter | Faith Joram | Rawan AbuMahady (any PayPal’s using this name are scammers who have stolen it off a real GoFundMe. The real person does not have a PayPal account that they post on tumblr.) | Asnet Wangila | Remmy Cheptau
Keep in mind this post isn’t saying all accounts asking for mutual aid in Palestine are scams. Rather, this post is meant to bring awareness of a scammer stealing money from those who really need it by pretending to be a person in Palestine. To report scams, use this:
Report -> Something else -> Illegal uses or Content -> Phishing
(Please do not use the comments section to ask for gfm sharing if someone’s asks or DMs are closed. Thanks.)

introducing... lawrence's platonic harem (aka the oc's for my upcoming conclave fic)
yes it all started with this dumbass post. i mean i had ideas sloshing around for a while but this idea was what kicked my ass into gear
btw this is in order of appearance
(father) david odhiambo
age: 71
face claim (bc i like using them sue me): oliver litondo
the archbishop of mombasa. basically him and lawzzer have been friends for a long time because odhi was a good friend and advisor of the old pope and they chat shit through emails. he convinces him to join him as a manager at a refugee camp. he's basically like a warm hug in human form – if that human form was a 6'3 71 year-old kenyan man. he has a sweet tooth and really loud low-pitched laugh. like thomas he had a crisis of faith when he was criticised among the catholic community in his country for his more progressive views, which led him to start working at the refugee camp (though he often returns to kenya to do archbishop things) i love him he is my pookie bear. he can do no wrong.
(dr) faith ramsey – aka the reason this even happened
age: 28
face claim: margaret qualley (specifically in drive away dolls) or lily donoghue
not only is she an atheist: her parents are divorced, her mum's a pagan and she's a lesbian. she's a psychologist working at the refugee camp lawrence joins, and considered the "baby" of the team (not wrong considering the rest of them are all at least 40). she kind of got adopted by odhi when she started at the camp, which made her feel guilty at first because of the whole gay-catholic dynamic but he was totally chill with it when she came out to him. odhiambo says that she "keeps him young" and describes her to thomas as "sister agnes if she was an atheist" – lawrence finds that prospect terrifying.
guiseppe alvarez
age: 43
face claim: jamie zevallos
an ex-catholic who was born in peru, did sociology in california and then started doing humanitarian work across the world. he's been working at the refugee camp for 4 and a half years when thomas joins. him and odiambo are super close friends because they joined the team at a similar time and are both catastrophic yappers. he loves music and dancing and odhiambo would say he breathes life into the camp and does a lot to raise the spirits of everyone there. lawrence thinks he and odhiambo are secretly an item for AGES before giuseppe off-handedly brings up his girlfriend back in california. tbf he has MAJOR "teacher you thought was gay and then brings up they have a wife and kids" energy. we don't blame you thomas
maya bakshi
age: 30
face claim: nikita chandra
she is faith's girlfriend. she has OCD and is constantly worried about faith's safety at the camp. it's partially faith's experience with maya's OCD that makes her think thomas might have it... yk aside from her doctorate in psychology. her and faith's relationship is mostly a secret on the camp (giuseppe and odhi are the only ones who know at the beginning), but shit happens. maya is from a hindu family and works as photographer for charities. she met faith when she was hired to photograph her and her team at work, which faith HATED. but they hit it off afterwards and started a long-distance relationship after maya left. they have been together for just over a year at the start.
others i'm in the process of developing
omar hakim – most senior camp coordinator, he's very stern and serious but only because he cares so much about the work he's doing. thomas sees too much of himself in omar to really get close to him
agata bukowski - another high-up manager at the camp, she has to leave later though because her brother is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (and that's how vincent gets involved but you didn't hear that from me)
#lmk if there's any inaccuracies i am open and willing#they're my precious little meow meows#conclave#conclave 2024#cardinal lawrence#ocs#may do this for other ocs i have just to get it out my brain

They are forced to stay in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which has been bombed since the beginning of Christmas. "I am on my knees asking for your donations. Please help me. where you can.

EDIT: i have found out from the lovely @lirulin that this is a scammer. they are known for targeting blogs which share content of palestine and the genocide in the gaza strip with fake asks of a gofundme or donations
known scammers are hardtravelermagazine, maddieemartinss, unabashedbirdlight (as seen in the ask of mine), amna-abrr, and asnet-dauod54. as well as fake names they have been known using such as Nour Samar | maryline lucy | Fred Odhiambo | Jeff Owino | Valentine Nakuti | Conslata Obwanga | JACINTA SITATI | David Okoth | Martín Mutugi | Daudi Likuyani | William Ngonyo | Fred Agy | George Ochieng | BONFACE ODHIAMBO | Sila Keli | John Chacha | benson komen | Alvin Omondi | Jacinta Sitati | Daudi Likuyani | Noah Keter | Faith Joram | Rawan AbuMahady (any PayPal’s using this name are scammers who have stolen it off a real GoFundMe. Discussion sur le Campus : Politique Monétaire et le Rapport H.8

Scammer pretending to be a Palestinian v3
Updated post here!
Now running their scam for about 2 months straight, this scammer is known to take their posts from real GoFundMe’s (Examples of used content) and reuse them as their own even going as far as impersonating the real Palestinian who created the original fundraiser. One of the common tactics is that you’ll get their asks if you regularly share Palestine content on your blog. Please check to see how old the pinned post is and see if you find its contents elsewhere if you search part of the post in a preferred search engine. Be aware that the scam accounts listed here are not the owners of any GoFundMe’s and will usually claim they have one pending. Their pfps are almost always images stolen off the fundraisers too.
This post has been remade with better info! Please find it here:
—
And here is a growing list of names the scammer has used. These may often be reused for different scams later on so keep an eye out for them when you get asks from relatively new accounts:
Nour Samar | maryline lucy | Fred Odhiambo | Jeff Owino | Valentine Nakuti | Conslata Obwanga | JACINTA SITATI | David Okoth | Martín Mutugi | Daudi Likuyani | William Ngonyo | Fred Agy | George Ochieng | BONFACE ODHIAMBO | Sila Keli | John Chacha | benson komen | Alvin Omondi | Jacinta Sitati | Daudi Likuyani | Noah Keter | Faith Joram | Rawan AbuMahady (any PayPal’s using this name are scammers who have stolen it off a real GoFundMe. The real person does not have a PayPal account that they post on tumblr.) | Asnet Wangila | Remmy Cheptau | HAMDI AHMED | Johy Chacha | Aisha Mahmood | Salima Abdallah | Raha Habib | JOSEPH AYUGI
—
How to report scam accounts: Report -> Something Else -> Illegal uses or Content -> Phishing
—
Please keep in mind this post isn’t to say all Palestine mutual aid blogs are scams! Rather, this post is meant to explain that there is a scammer pretending to be one and stealing posts from real ones. They will always reblog only a few Palestine posts and then reblog nothing else aside from answering asks.
—
If you happen to find a new one, please let me know! This is a new version of the previous one.

Achieng reggy trial#
Counsel submitted that transfer of a suit under Section 18(1)(b) of the Civil Procedure Act (Cap 21) from one court to another has several basic considerations including balance of convenience, expense questions, interest of justice and orders of recusal before the trial magistrate had been sought. That there was no compelling reason advanced to adjourn the hearing of the matter before the trial court.Ĥ. Learned counsel for the respondent made reference to the grounds of the preliminary objection and the background of the matter including denial of an adjournment of the matter by the Honourable trial court as date for hearing was fixed by consent of the parties. Accordingly, learned counsel for the applicant filed submissions dated 17 th June 2020 while learned counsel for the 1 st plaintiff respondent filed submissions dated 21 st May 2020.ģ. On 12 th May 2020, it was ordered and directed that the preliminary objection be argued by written submissions. That this Honourable court has no jurisdiction to determine this application as the same is a preserve of the trial court.Ģ. WINNERS AND LOSERS.
Gideon Mungaro of ODM Takes Kilifi Governor. Defeats UDA’s Aisha Jumwa.
Bundalangi MP Raphael Wanjala retains his seat after garnering 15,572 votes. He ran on ODM party ticket. UDA's Alfred Juma Maloba was second with 14,146 votes.
David Ochieng' of MDG party wins Ugenya parliamentary seat with 25,520 votes, trouncing his only opponent ODM's Daniel Odhiambo who managed 22,828 votes in a hotly contested match.
IEBC has declared Peter Orero of ODM as Kibra MP elect. In another hotly contested seat, Wangui Ngirici beats Ann Waiguru to become the new Kirinyaga Governor.
Seme MP James Nyikal of ODM retains his seat after getting 30,728 votes to beat independent candidate Haggai Hawi Kadiri who got 14,402 votes.
A win for the public litigant as Okiya Omtatah wins Busia senatorial race.
A stone throw away, Didmus Barasa, who is being sought by police over shooting allegations, wins Kimilili MP seat after getting 26,861 votes against DAP-K’s Brian Khaemba’s 9,497. Just as Didmus, John Waluke, who is out of jail because of an appeal of his Sh290m fraud conviction, defends Sirisia MP seat on Jubilee ticket, defeats ODM, DAP-K candidates.
Even as RONALD KARAURI has been declared Kasarani MP elect, Musa Sirma is back!! With UDA, he has won Eldama Ravine parliamentary seat with 32,492 votes while Emmanuel Ngetuny (Independent) garnered 10,229 votes.
Long time buddy of Raila Odinga, Caroli Ochieng has clinched Suba North seat replacing John Mbadi.
Anthony Kibagendi (ODM) wins Kitutu Chache South MP seat with 14,478 votes beating his closest competitor Andrew Maubi (Wiper) who polled 10,378 votes. Kanu Sec Gen Nick Salat has lost.
Shakeel Shabir retains his Kisumu East parliamentary seat. He garnered 35,704 votes defeating his closest competitor Nicholas Oricho of ODM party who garnered 28,491 votes.
Unfortunately, Garissa MP Aden Duale suffers blow after failing to counter Azimio flagbearer Raila Odinga's influence in his backyard. Odinga is ahead with 53,431 against Ruto’s 16,172 votes. This put the ex-majority leader in a precarious position after he was tasked with delivering UDA votes.
