Kinda affected? It is more like he is deep into the countrycore and he is not getting out of it anytime soon. I bet right now he is making his ultimate country music playlist (and it's not unfinished because he wants to go back to Universe 7 and get more songs to download).

His interest extend from country music, like I could see him going to rodeos and riding on the mechanical bull without falling, Sour is not going down like that and he won't until he had to return to his duty.

He could adapt Southern expressions and some Southern lingo/slang (which are country slang) from the country music songs, and slowly develop an Southern accent which surprised and confused the angels including Daishinkan whilst Zenos found it fun. Helles and the U2 warriors are just used to it.

Just imagine Sour saying "Well bless your heart" which is his favourite insult disguised as a compliment, "I'm finer than frog's hair" and my favourite one, "Aren't you precious"

I felt bad for Sawar at the end of ep 118 ngl, the way he looks up on the little heart that flyers up on his head after his Universe litterally FUCKING DISAPPEARED 😭

My poor little baby

He was coping really hard and trying not to feel too much, have to be neutral even though he feel he is reaching to the point of breaking down. Deep down he wanted his universe to win so he doesn't need to see them erased/die, including Helles and Peru which he did held some bit of fondness since they did get along. Please imagine when the universes did come back due to 17's wish, Sawar would be the first one to leave, turn into a comet to Universe 2 and meet them again 😊 he wasn't that into the idealistic love the Universe 2's team and Helles promoted but he won't deny the power of bonds and friendships.

Does the grand priest have a favourite child/angel? Does the other angels knows it or rather some are in denial of it?

I Would say Kusu is the favorite and Korn is the second favorite. The Grand Priest loves how energetic kusu is and how cute she is, I mean she is his first child so I think that has something to do with it. If Korn wasn’t so strict then he might’ve been his favorite but I have a feeling Korn could’ve been the favorite. Whis is definitely not the favorite because of all the problems him and his universe caused, especially the little incident with Merus. But he is still the Grand Priest’s child so he loves him regardless. The Angels fight all the time about who’s the favorite and it sometimes gets on the Grand Priest’s nerves but their his family and he loves them none the less, even if he wants to pull his hair out when it comes to him.

Is it okay to share headcanons? I've had this headcanon for a long time, it has to do with angels being emotionless cosmic eldritch doing their job as hakaishin teachers. They study other people's character and communication, gradually starting to have their own thoughts and be a little more free

Helles, in order to feel more important and loved, used Sour indifferent and curious studying nature to her advantage once she became a Hakaishin

She had gotten Sour accustomed to saying “my love” when he addressed her. For example “…Mrs. Helles, my love, we have a meeting with the kaioshin today.” (Perhaps it would be funny if such an address in Sour words would slip in when talking to the rest of the angels/gods)

Sour has become her personal makeup bag, in the subspace pocket of his staff he has all of her cosmetics, even if Helles only uses one lipstick.

Helles likes to be an annoying asshole. Sometimes Sour talks in verse, or his conversational form is similar to Yoda. She plays her angel to her heart's content

My headcanons! With her being a past slave besides being born to a princess like position with a throne that will never be hers, she basically adapted a manipulative additude over time. She knows how to push everyone's buttons, even if she's not trying to. So she may or may not know how manipulative she's being to Sour just so she can attain that princess-like importance she once had when she was very young.

Sour sees her as almost like a daughter to him, and Angels have a hard time distinguishing what others deem as "platonic" or "romantic" so he really doesn't realize that calling her "my love" can make him look like he's dating her, even if he never had that intent. He loves her like a daughter, and tries to make her feel like the princess she once was... after all, he has been around long enough to know the pain of losing one's position, and being forced to be so much lower than you are.
