I love the concept of sun and moon not actually knowing what the outside actually looks like, they've never seen planets and stars and the sun, they don't know what a stop sign is, they don't know what taxes are, they only know what they have in the daycare and what people have told them, they've no photos, no experience, they know only of their fabricated like life.

And then they go outside and it's just this ticktok

One hell of a redesign am I right

Took a shot at drawing the boys as mermaids! This was fun to do and since now its may, I can share this! This was also done with designing how i vision them for an au I had for a long time now.

The gist of the au is basically Y/N being born and raised in an aquarium for their whole life! Them becoming perfectly comfortable and content with what they have, but do sometimes wonder what the ocean is like—since that's their true home!

Sun and Moon are mers that are captured and brought to the facility/aquarium that y/n resides in. Which they aren't too happy with, since they despise humans. While y/n is promised with new roommates, which are mers just like them!

Y/n, Sun and Moon have a rough start since Y/n favors humans and is for better word, a shameful representation of merpeople in Sun and Moon eyes. But don't worry, overtime, they learn to get along and appreciate one another! In the end, who knows if they manage to convince Y/n to escape with them back home!

With my version of them, Sun's rays would definitely be plushie- I think it would be silly if he could still feel the rays- maybe he'd say someshit like "Oh gosh, I think I almost popped a stitch" or something silly like that during any stressful events,, I like cartoony silliez,, ALSO, their bow!! ..Moon would definitely untie the bow out of spite, after Sunny takes all their time to straighten it and perfect it up. Can't have shit in the Pizzaplex

ALSO! His rays would almost definitely have little squeakers in them to! The credit for that idea goes to one of my buddies,, we both agreed it'd be a cutie-patootie idea,, AS FOR HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT ONE ANOTHER- I'm still trying to mess around with that! Maybe I'll make some more silly art about how I interpret their relationship to be like before and after glitchy shit,, yaya,,,
