Diana arrival at the funeral of her friend, whose passed away from old age. A part of her wish that Amazons were not immoral so they wouldn’t stuffed to see their mortals friends and loved ones taken from them from natural causes.

DC Amazon week: Sisters

This story is a entry for @dccomicsamazonsweek event DC Comics Amazon Week 2024 day 1 sisterhood.

Three little girls playfully run around in the forest of Themyscira, having fun without a care in the world. One girl has a olive skinned tone, another girl has dark skin, and the third girl has white skin.

Nubia said to Diana and Donna, "I feel a bit out of place among the other Amazons due to the color of my skin. I have some girls look at me funny." Diana feel upset that her friend is mistreated and got a idea to make her feel better. Getting three blue clothes from a basket out, Diana said to Nubia and Donna as she hand them two of the bands, "By wearing these bands, we are honored sisters."

Grace watches her girlfriend quizzically, worrying she wasn’t as thorough after that last fight as she might have been, doing first aid. If maybe Anissa has a concussion she didn’t notice. Anissa raises a patient eyebrow.

She and Donna don’t look so different, Grace supposes; they have the same stance, rooting their feet to the earth as they ready themselves to push back. The same curve of shoulder and thigh, if not jaw and chest and fingertip.

“Troy,” Donna repeats slowly, through a New York fog, “the sisterhood is metaphorical.”

The laugh in her smile is just like Grace’s, too.

And Hera…. Goddess of women. Hera sees with a thousand eyes. She is your Queen Bitch, your sin-eater. Hera bears the burden of foresight. A prophetess, Hera knows your pride and your rage before you do… Every bruise to your dignity burns her like fire. She is branded with it. And she loves you beyond reckoning, for you all belong to her. The subjugations and abuses of non-men by men are too numerous to catalog in a library… let alone a book. "It's just his nature,” they say. We say nature may be brutal, but it is not sinister. But if it were in his nature to dominate his sisters, t’would be an instinct garrisoned by civility. For the institutions of men care not for the weal of women. You don't have to be the Queen of Gods to recognize injustice. Can you imagine what it would feel like to bear witness across millennia? DC Amazons: Myths of the amazons

This is a entry for @dccomicsamazonsweek event DC Amazon Week 2024 day 7 myths. The story reflected her real life myths of Amazons where they are villians defeated by male heroes because Ancient Greek was not a fan of Feminism.

Nubia visit a museum as a special guest due to being Wonder Woman for a special Ancient Greek exhibit.

The museum personal said to Nubia, "I hear that Amazons were blood hungry warriors." and she reply, "That was just a myth told by men to discourage women seeking a government position in the ancient times. We are trained in the war to fight against warlords, and the men in power at that time made us villains because they fear of our symbol of freedom for women."

This is a entry for @dccomicsamazonsweek event DC Amazon week 2024 day 6 bridge between worlds. This is based on Wonder Woman vol 2 37. The journalist Leo is based on myself.

Two years since Wonder Woman debit in the world, a group of twelve delegates from countries around the world are chosen to visit Themyscira, the home island of the Amazons. These delegates are Norwegian ambassador of the United Nations Asmund Lindel, South African botanist Maritza Nitumbe, American author Phyllis Haller, Russian neurosurgeon Dr. Vladimir Morakov, Scottish history teacher Robert Cantwell, Israel rabbit Benjamin Hecht, American minister Alan Witherspoon, Chinese congress member Lin Koo Teng, blind Ethiopian architect Rovo Quashing, paraplegic Canadian architect Henri Claude Tibet, Haitian zoologist Felix Zumac, and British journalist Leo Guythrone, and they will be taken to Themyscira by Wonder Woman herself.

As the Invisible Jet landed on Themyscira, the delegates are awestruck by the pristine environment and the sophisticated society. Leo said as he start writing down for his news story, “I’ve got to get into details of this place.” Queen Hippolyta come before the delegates and said to them, “Welcome to Themyscira, visitors from Man’s World.” The delegates and the Amazons soon got along well.

As the delegates leave for their countries once the peace meeting is over in three days, Hippolyta said to Phillipus, “Maybe there would be future peace between Themyscira and Man’s World.”

DC Amazon: The outside world come

This is a entry for @dccomicsamazonsweek event DC Amazon Week 2024 day 6: Isolation.

A plane crash landed on Themyscira and many Amazons run to see what it was, where they see a burning metal bird. The Amazons were surprised by the sight of the strange metal winged creature as they have never seen anything like it. Just then, the female pilot step out and every Amazon take a step back in shock of a stranger in Themyscira. The pilot is a blond hair woman whose speak in English, "Hello. Can you understand me? My name is Diana Trevor of the U.S.A. Air Force. I was doing a scouting mission when I got lost. Can any of you tell me where I am at?" While the Amazons can understand her, they don't know what to do with her and the guards take her to Queen Hippolyta.

Hippolyta were amazed by the woman's gun and comment, "We have been isolated for so long that your people built unique weapon, Diana. My people has been almost left behind in such technology."

DC Amazon Week: Culture differences

This is a entry for @dccomicsamazonsweek event DC Amazon Week 2024 day 2: Culture Shock. Since February is Black History Month here in the United States, I imagined a story of Nubia in the Southern United States during the Jim Crow segregation laws era.

Nubia arrived at the United States of America, the country in Man's World whose ideas of freedom for all seem like the prefect place to set up a assembly of Themyscira. As she look around, some citizens take note of her clothes, even as she show her shoulders and she is troubled by their angry eyes.

As she walk into town, Nubia see a restaurant and decide to try some of the local food. Just as Nubia enter the restaurant, many of its customers were shocked at her and the owner yell at Nubia, "Hey! No blacks in my restaurant!" and Nubia were shocked by his loud voice that she end up running out of the town.

As Nubia sit in the park, she wonder about what was wrong with the men of this country, mostly its white citizens. As Nubia think, a black man walk up to her and ask, "Pardon me miss, but you should not be her long." and Nubia said to the man, "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't expected people to not like me." The black man reply, "It was only the color of your skin, miss. You see, this country was made by white folks and they made laws to keep folks of color like me away from their power. There are those whose wanted to make a change but don't want to face those whose disagree with them." and Nubia was shocked at hearing this as she didn't excepted a culture to be different than the culture of Themyscira where there are not laws based on race.
