THINGS YOU SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF

So there’s lots of cool things you can do in Disney and I wish like hell I would’ve done them

-Sunrise yoga in MK

Magic kingdom offers sunrise yoga in front of the castle for cast members. I never did it because “ughhhh earlyyyy” but missing sleep for one day won’t kill you

-Mickys not so scary/ Christmas party

I didn’t do either of these because I didn’t think it’d be worth it. But it is, because how many times will you be able to say you did?

- Club Villian

IM SO MAD ABOUT THIS ONE

So in Hollywood Studios on the weekends, if you are 21+, there is a night club where it’s all you can eat (and drink) while partying with villains. I wanted to do this so badly but no one else did.

-Breakfast at Beast’s castle

It’s so much cheaper to have breakfast at Be Our Guest than dinner

-Eat everything at Food and Wine

If your program is in the fall like mine was, food and wine is a must. But I missed out on so much food because I worked at Epcot and obviously didn’t want to go there on my day off BUT GO ANYWAY

-Any parade

I only got to see electric light parade once and it was the last night and I wish I had gone more (the ones in DAK are amazing too)

Almost exactly four years ago I left home for the Disney College Program. Since then, so much in my life has happened. Part of me wondered if I should completely retire this blog... but so much has happened here as well. Over the course of four years, I have relived memories on these pages. Sharing advice, detailed stories, and countless pictures. I couldn’t bring myself to retire the blog entirely. So, everything has been organized in what is now known as /dcparchives. Posts are sorted by several different categories so those who are interested can find old help pages, memories, and even the beginnings of The Kimmi and Jackie Show. It has been so wonderful sharing my college program memories with you all. I have a few more stories I’m sitting on for a rainy day in which I wish to relive those days, but for now, you can expect this blog to move forward.

Life!

Wow, time really flies. I can’t believe how fast time has been going. I think the last post I did was back...in August? July? 

I am happy to share (with the 3 people who still follow this ancient blog) that I finally went full time! I’m now (and have been since September 17th) full time concierge at YACHT & BEACH!! Yes, you heard me, I’m BACK HOME! I randomly checked transfer genie one night and all of a sudden I see CONGRATS U GOT A TRANSFER and when I saw Y&B I was in disbelief! 

I am so happy to be back. I’m already back in the lounge, and working 6 day weeks and doubles. My body is so sore.

I’m still waiting to go to my Concierge Classes at Disney University. I can’t wait to get lobby trained, so hopefully I can get retrained at the club desk.
