23-2-21 . . Self-love is so much more than treating ourselves to a hot bubble bath or going for a walk in nature. It’s about finding that place truly from within where we look at our baggage and root through the nasties to find what we actually know to be true: ourselves, our whole selves, the ones we should love and focus on and not what other people think we should. Self-love does not meet us first at our best—it meets us in our mess. This realization on its own is very powerful because acknowledging that we willingly make ourselves unhappy, drained, empty, unsatisfied, and unfulfilled is often a big enough catalyst to act and open ourselves to a possibility of loving ourself. Facing our own resistance to self-love is the first step. Once we separate the facts from the story, we may find ourself more open to begin. Day 5 of #yogabeasts! 🦄 It's #deerpose or a variation of it 🦌 The theme for today is #deforestation and threatening of various species of animals. It's dangerous, #rainforests around the globe could be gone in a hundred of years. . Deforestation is clearing Earth's forests on a massive scale, often resulting in damage to the quality of the land. Forests still cover about 30 percent of the world’s land area, but swaths half the size of England are lost each year. . Could you imagine a world without a tiny bit of green? How would you picture it? . Forgive me, if in the next weeks I'll be a little bit undertone. I just came to know that I'm intolerant to gluten, I may have a heart disease (that's what caused all the fainting) and my car insurance won't cover the expenses of the car, which, nobody told me, are pretty high. If the body shop would have told me that my insurance was so low, maybe I could have asked them not to replace so many parts, but only to fix them. No, they didn't. They bought all the parts and replaced them, even for a scratch. When we first travelled to London many years ago, we lived in Teddington and had this beautiful park just across the road. Bushy Park (445 hectares) is the second largest of London's Royal Parks, after Richmond Park. Henry VIII established the park as deer-hunting grounds and deer still roam freely there today.
