A CC-free, 1970s inspired house in the Hollywood Hills

While I would love to have a piece of CC to thank all of you wonderful people, that’s a bit beyond my skill set, so I made this detailed, vintage build that can hopefully be used by historical and modern players alike. It’s designed in a 1970s style, with lots of vintage features like stone walls, blue carpet, and a basement den. I tried to make it as accurate as possible without using any CC, so that it can be downloaded more easily.

Built high in the hills of The Pinnacles, almost every room has a view of Del Sol Valley below. Designed around a central atrium, a huge balcony, and an entire level wrapped around the pool, it’s the pinnacle of outdoor/indoor living and the perfect place to host the 1970s parties of your dreams.

Feel free to modernize it (avocado green bathrooms aren’t for everyone, I know 👀), play in it, post it, whatever you feel like! Just tag me if you do ever use it because l would love to see.

Hey guys! I'm here with another apartment building! Slowly but surely, I'll add more of them to every world. This one is in Del Sol Valley. I've always wanted a starter apartment there, and now I have it! There are six units in total, with three different floor plans. I've fully decorated one for the beloved Venessa Jeong. There's a fully equipped gym, a refreshing pool area, and a fun playground for kids. I hope you guys like it!

gameplay friendly! i playtested it and everything should work as intended

you need wicked whims (18+) for the lounge to be fully functional as a strip club. i also recommend basemental drugs (18+) if you want a bouncer on the lot but it's just for funsies

contains cc and uses quite a few packs and kits, sorry! the only kit i would really recommend having is just blooming rooms, though, if you want all the plants i filled the build with. the others are not as required

i built this in the strawberry save so for some reason the gallery claims i didn't build it from scratch but i did, prommy!

this is my first build in years and it's definitely not perfect, be kind <3

HOW TO MAKE THIS LOT FUNCTIONAL:

For the Boba Tea Store, I've added the ThriftTea Bubble Tea Counter created by @srslysims. It features the same animation and interactions as the vanilla version but without the bulky counter it comes with.

For the Clothing Store, I recommend using the Fashion Store Mod by Nando. I've placed interactive mirrors in the changing cabins so your Sims can actually buy clothes from them.

For the Sephora Store, I'm utilizing the Functional Perfumes by @aroundthesims along with the Saleabration Store Mod by @ravasheencc, allowing your Sims to buy and use them! Additionally, I've included the New Styling Station (Chair) by @aroundthesims so your Sims can enjoy a little makeover at the store.

For the Bookstore, I'm incorporating both the Retail Therapy Mod by @ravasheencc and the Self-Service Kiosk by @aroundthesims, enabling your Sims to purchase books within the store. You don't have to have both mods installed if you don't want to; either one will suffice!

For a more immersive experience with this lot, I highly suggest downloading LittleMsSam’s Auto Employees Mod. With this mod, NPCs will automatically work at the lot once you place the correct object for them to appear.

Make sure to read all the information available on the mods' pages in order to ensure they work properly in your game!
