Deleted Scene

There’s a few tattoo shops in my town,

      at least two shops, I think,

who, day and night, keep lit their lights

      to cover folks in ink.

But down the other end of town,

      by random chance or quirk,

there’s two tattoo removal shops

      that undo all their work.

I don’t know if their customers

      are clearly quite the same,

but in my mind, I see them both

      engaging in some game.

But halfway in between those shops,

      are half a dozen bars

where god-knows-what regrets are made,

      but neither shop is far.
