hey folks, new around here :p i want to share my one year improvement of the same profile picture drawing!

i feel like my style has improved quite a bit in many different ways and i’ve made my character more dynamic, as well as redesigning him. i did forget to color the line art in the newer one, but it still looks better than before to me!

I feel like messing with Guinevere, what should I do with it at the isekai hakurin? My idea is that she is a very long-lived demidemon and since her legend remains same, she has to suffer because of its bad reputation.

P.S: Should we make Guinevere's longevity because she as a hybrid has an uncommon power or a curse that Morgan threw at her?

2# "Nobody warned you about me?"

“What is it with you, fae?”

The oversized fae furrowed their brows, confused. “What do you mean?”

With a sigh, Isaiah sat himself on the nearby wall, his legs not quite reaching the ground (much to Astro's amusement). “They tell tales about me. Surely you must've heard?”

Since his powers had grown to almost unmatchable, Isaiah was well aware of the rumours that followed him like a cloud of smog. Some said he was possessed and a real demon was puppeting his tiny demidemonic body. Others whispered of dark magic and human sacrifice. The truth was simple. He was a failed laboratory experiment: 75% demon, designed to be the bridge to Hell, who happened to despise his biological father and grandfather, who happened to be the same demon.

Astro cocked their head, confusion evident. “No? Why, what do they say?”

Of course, Isaiah realised. They were a royal fae. The poor being knew little to none of rumours and the peasants that inhabited the normal realm. With a sigh, Isaiah elaborated. “They think I'm evil. I can't believe it, nobody warned you about me?”

Astro shook their head, stunned into silence.

“"The evil Copernicus Bane, terror of the 7 realms"?” He continued, using air quotes.

It was slightly silly, the idea of Isaiah being a villain. Sure, Astro wasn't very talented socially. It came with the territory of being a royal. But boy, did they know empathy. Isaiah was no evil, they could feel it. In reality, he was scared and traumatised and defensive, not aggressive. With a slight giggle, Astro ruffled Isaiah's hair. “Terror of 7 inches, I'm sure you mean.”

The joke caught Isaiah off guard and he laughed, despite himself. What was this fae? He relaxed and invited them to join him on the wall, giving them a playful arm punch as they accepted.

For the first time in years, Isaiah felt properly relaxed. Maybe he could come around to this friendship shit.

Milgazia is Awesome

I was re-reading the end of the 15th novel because I’m a complete sucker for the Gourrina scenes at the end they’re that good, and the other thing that struck me was how Milgazia handled the situation when they found Lina and Gourry.

 Unlike Mephy he could tell that Lina was shaken and that she wasn’t proud that she had slain the Dark Lord, and I think his life experience and the fact that he survived the previous Incarnation War show here. He gives Lina space.

Lina says that over the next few days she did explain what happened to him. Gourry makes a comment that indicates that Milgazia and Mephy didn’t leave until they were more assured about her mental state. And Milgazia states that he’s planning to clean up the remaining demidemons that are running amok and may run into Xellos or Greater Beast again. And he doesn’t ask for Lina’s help even though she’s very much proven herself. Reading very much between the lines I started to wonder if he decided to do clean up with Mephy to give Lina and Gourry more time to recover emotionally from what they had to do. 

So yeah, I think Milgazia has made my top 5 list of favorite characters (Lina, Gourry, Mileena, Milgazia hmm, I’ve got competition for the 5th spot, lol).

Despite being strikingly beautiful this is quite a deception due to the darkness that flows through their demonic blood. Demi-Demons are extremely powerful beings with strength, speed, and agility that doesn't match their human size, andappearance. Most males are at least 6 feet tall, and quite muscular. The females are very tall as well yet their slender femininity makes them appear weak when in fact they are just as strong as the males. All have highly enhanced senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. Of course their magical abilities canmove them closer to that of Demi-Angels since demons are fallen Angels. The repellant, and damaging effects of various artifacts which include holy crosses, crucifixes, holy water, holy fire, Bibles, etc. use the humanity within hybrid demonic entities as a conduit to their own destruction. So vampires are actually more vulnerable to a holy cross than a demidemon would be.
