A scenerio where like neteyams mate is starting to show signs of heat and neteyam realizes it 🙈
𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧 aged-up! neteyam x navi! reader
Tumblr media
"Yawne... just what exactly are your reasons for doing this?" Neteyam could feel his mate's canines digging on his shoulder as she kept nibbling on him like a baby entering its teething days. It's been going on for days, so much that he started getting more misleading attention from the people and even from his own family.
Bite marks from across his body were laid on his skin like tattoos. Each day that passed, the bite marks only doubled in count and Neteyam started to look more like a mated lad. Everyday, the bite marks spread through his body like wildfire, starting from only his arms to reaching parts of his body that seemed completely intimate. Even his cheek had an obvious bite mark.
Neteyam never knew exactly why his mate acted the way she did and never questioned it, but whatever she was on, he was starting to feel very... stimulated. Aroused, rather. And the longer he feels her hot breath on his neck, her legs hugging his stomach, and her bottom resting on his calves, Neteyam simply couldn't ignore the signs of how clearly she had succeeded in seducing him.
At some point, Neteyam thought his mate contracted rabies. But his father saved him from saying such an insult with his mate when he blessed him with the opportunity to have the 'talk'.
"Ngh, I don't think this is appropriate to do right now, my love..." He muttered, a bit husky and embarassed from all the skinship he was receiving. Yet he never got a word from her as she continued on biting him, now moving on to his neck where she bit him. Literally, biting him like a meal waiting to be devoured.
The boy only sighed as his face grew more of in the shade magenta. Neteyam never said a word and continued to enlighten her to do, secretly liking how she repeatedly marked him.
"It's not very─" He was about to speak for the third time, but it turned into a moan the moment he felt something wet touch his skin. Neteyam shifted from his seat as he shivvered a little from the sensation of being licked. Even if he tried to pull himself away in fear of something happening, she pulled Neteyam back into her arms as if absorbing him entirely.
It didn't take much for him to accept it though. Because a minute bypassed and he was starting to thank the instinct he had of bringing his mate on his own tent, where only the two of them could be at. And perhaps this was enough for Neteyam to realize how being in heat works for both of them.

𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 neteyam
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Neteyam's lips, they're so soft. You thought to yourself, your thumb softly caressing his supple purple lips. They were so girly if you compare it to the rest of his face that looked masculine, they looked kissable in your eyes. You pondered for a bit while being lost in his angelic face, thinking of just how pleasant it must be if you were to kiss him for eternity.
And as he slept pleasantly with his head resting on your thighs, of course it was essential for you to be lost in a trance while you stare at the boy's face. You chuckled at the thought of Neteyam waking up only to see you by his side, and it made you feel special.
Factually, everything about Neteyam made you feel special. Just like now, how precious it was for him to look for you amidst the time when you were tending for the injured warriors of the clan. He knew that you were busy just as much as him— who is a warrior. Yet he waited for you to finish, and immediately pulled you into his arms, finding himself yearning for your presence even in his sleep or in the verge of slumber.
He hugged you a long-looonngg time that you could've sworn he spent a quarter of his life hugging you ever since being mated with you. It was a habit of his that just made the two of you grow closer, and he was dependent on you half of the time in seeking comfort and love— the love that makes him want to continue, the kind that makes him feel deserving.
You love him so much. He was your home.
"Oh, my pretty boy... How did Eywa create such perfection?" You sighed with a gentle smile on you face as you smoothen his skin with your hand, as if putting some kind of cream on a baby. You couldn't help it, seriously. His face just looked so magnificent, and smooth, and soft, and just so lovable. The only thing you did was caress his face was your love and care the whole time he slept.
Again, the idea crossed your mind. You've kissed him before, but it was only a handful of times that you two kissed. You chuckled. After all, you two were bonded together, and you might as well take advantage of that.
"I see you, Neteyam." Important words of affirmation left your mouth as your looked at his face being so at peace. Your eyes filled love. You caressed his lips one last time and you bowed your head as you let your lips touch Neteyam's, kissing him.
A tear dropped from your eye, as you feel his cold lips on yours. Kissing them gently with so much love— yet the grief was taking over you that you felt like you were about to melt just by the sensation of Neteyam's cold lips on yours.
You held his cheeks, the loss of warmth just further reminding you that you've lost the only thing that you held so dearly. Yet you kissed him, reminding yourself also that it will be the last. You lips trembled when you pulled away, tears surging down your eyes and gliding down your cheeks.
There he was, as always, resting on you lap. Only, this time he was cold. His body arms wrapped in a soft textile. His legs clasped together, and his face painted with white fluid.
The memories of the times you kissed him in his sleep, a smile would always appear on his face. But this time, there was none. Neteyam was at peace, he was no longer here.
"Ma' Neteyam..." His name left your mouth, as if expecting him to answer, grasping his cold hands in yours. But the silence was far too loud, and you bursted into tears as you lay crippled besides him. Neteyam, your light. Your happiness. Your home. All of them are gone.
He will never come back.
You couldn't bare to take in that your mate departed the world, which led you to not leaving his side. You were with him when he died on a rock in the middle of the sea. Up until he was bought back to the shore, where everyone in Awa'atlu saw you hugging a corpse with empty eyes.
The most painful of all was the fact that you have to live up the day when you had to prepare him for his own funeral.
Everyone outside the marui was silent, only your cries of agony was heard. The realization of having to spend your whole life in patience until you see him again made your agony harder to bottle. You cried for Eywa, begging him to bring your life and love back. Yet a silent body laying on you lap was what welcomed you to a new life of pain and suffering.

𝗦𝗬𝗠𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 neteyam x human reader
Tumblr media
word count: 1.7k ➤ might make part two
synopsis: as the day of neteyam's crowning ceremony nears, the more you realize of the sad truth of being loved and loving someone who's from an entirely different species.
content & pairing/s: forbidden love. neteyam x human reader.
Tumblr media
Neteyam and you have withheld your relationship for more than six years. It has come clear that the two of you adored each other and would kill for one another. It didn't come as blurry, since Neteyam proudly speaks of his human mate with his entire clan even though it changed his image greatly amongst the elder na'vis.
His mother, Neytiri greatly disapproves of such thing that his son believes is what is for him. For her, you will always be human. One of them. The people who hurt and killed na'vis. A race that burned down her home and killed her father.
And you take her son greatly angered the tsakarem. Neytiri wanted to rid you so badly and because of it, it had ruined her relationship with her firstborn.
Jake, however, has no problem whatsoever. He wanted his son to have the best of the best. But recently, there's been many speculations that you were a great cause of his son's probability of losing the title as the next Olo'eyktan. Mayhaps that was the only thing that Jake needed to talk to you one faithful noon when you were exploring the forest alone.
You were in the middle of sketching a crimsysoraus─ as you hid your small human body behind the bushes and camouflaged under the various colors of your clothes, you were heavily focused on the creature. However, from a sudden movement behind you, the primitive animal had run off so easily that you stood up in disappointment.
As you hear steps coming from behind you, you were quick enough to see who it was and your eyes lightened up at the sight of Jake Sully─ the mighty Toruk rider. He smiled slightly at you and seemed eager to say something, which heightened your curiosity.
"Jake, I can't say I'm glad to see you." You sighed as you greeted the familiar man that towered over you. Jake was thrice your size, he was slightly bigger and taller than Neteyam but you grew accustomed to this kind of physique that it didn't really bother you. Besides, for a quarter of your life, Jake stood up as your father.
When Jake noticed that you were starting to pack your things, that was the time he mustered up the courage to say something. So in an attempt to get your attention, he grabbed your small shoulders and leaned down. "Kid, listen, we need to talk."
"About what?" You said. You had no clue what was about to go between you and your peaceful life and because of it, you had a clueless expression on your face. "Can't we talk about it in the lab?"
"No, it has to be now," Jake claims, a deep sense of urgency in his voice and you acknowledge it. It freaked you out a little but you listened to every word he said next. "It's about Neteyam. You have to break it off with him, it's not happening, kid."
Suddenly, your mind went a bit blank and your expression started to fall into a confused one. You ushered Jake's hand away from your shoulder and continued looking at everything other than Jake's gaze. You started to feel slightly anxious as every second passed and you didn't speak. But you listened to every word the man said.
"You know back then when I said that as long as you make my son happy, I'm okay with all this. But y/n, right now, Neteyam is struggling as the heir of Omatikaya and I can't help him. It's not that I blame you or him for being connected! But Neteyam─"
"So you mean to say that he won't be Ole'eyktan so long as he has connections with me?" You could feel your heartache from saying such words, but you were observant of Jake's movement. He was serious and you understood what he was making it out to be that you easily got the point.
The man knew you your entire life, he's been there from the moment you took your first step alongside his firstborn. He's witnessed the comfort his son receives from you. As well as the happiness, entertainment, freedom, and the love Neteyam got from you.
Even if you were human, and he was Na'vi. As far as he knew, his son reminded him of himself back then when he was lost and hadn't been able to familiarize what love is until Neytiri came around.
Jake deeply disliked having to be the one to break the bond you had with his son. And he knew he would never let his wife be the one to stop you and Neteyam, or else Neytiri would be hated most by their son. So Jake hesitated to answer your question, but he nodded his head. "The people, the entire clan do not understand the bond you two have, and we can show them that you and Neteyam are─"
"I get it, Jake. You don't have to break it to pieces, I've known from the very start." You spouted, a single tear dropping from your right eye. You looked at Jake's sincereness and your breath started to hitch under the mask you were wearing. "Why are you the one to tell me this, It's so embarrassing."
Your lips trembled and from a split of a second, you looked into Jake's eyes. A huge wave of jealousy came washing over you. You knew his story, his life. How he too was human, like you. And he fell in love with a Na'vi, like you. He loved someone from a different specie who loved him back, like you. But unlike you, you weren't an avatar.
So the people of the man you loved hated you more than the hate Jake received from the time when he stood in similar shoes as yours. That thought alone made you think of Neteyam. Would it really be the right choice? Even if it probably is, only eywa knows how things would've gone if you never even formed something deeply intimate with a creature of purity.
That's right. You were human, and he was Na'vi. A man from a different specie like him ought to have never developed any sort of feelings for you. You were human. A colonizer. An invader. A demon to the eyes of the other Navi people. You were a nuisance to the prince of Omatikaya who... loved you.
Tumblr media
"We should stop this. It's weird... We're weird." Even though you were hurting, you managed to say it anyway. And what pained you more was the fact that he looked into your eyes as you said it like your entire relationship was a joke.
Neteyam loves you. So hearing every syllable of every word you say fell on his ears like a flashback of the times he was in war. His amber eyes stared into yours and confusion erupted from his face. You had invited yourself to his private space in the home tree where all the Omatikaya lived.
You knew you weren't welcomed by the clan with the current issue you stirred up because of your interest in their prince and the only ones to welcome you were no more than Neteyam, siblings, some na'vi kids, and Jake.
Neteyam, the poor boy, had expected that you came for a visit per usual. And for you to come to him with awful remarks, they were venomous to his fragile heart. "Why... W-what? What are you saying...? What- why are you saying that!?" Neteyam stood up in disbelief, his words were laced with pain and his voice cracked. He looked at you, and you simply smiled apologetically.
That's right, Neteyam loves you. The Neteyam you used to laugh at for being slow, the boy you would cuddle when he was mad at his parents. The boy you would bully into thinking it's his fault you were smaller than him. The boy who would protect you, and in return, you would be by his side─ loving him as though you two couldn't differentiate the obvious difference you two had to be born with.
And from the way it played on Neteyam's mind, you love him too. You and him were in love, so why would it be weird? Is love weird? So why were those words he dreaded to hear spewing out of those pretty mouths of yours that he swore had lathered him with the most comforting and loving words he's ever heard in his life?
"Neteyam." His name fell from your mouth so gracefully, as if he was named only to be spoken by your voice. So why were you saying any less than what you had to?
"I'm serious. You and I are not fit together, it's not gonna work. Your clan will never allow you to be with me. Never!" You stood up as well to say your stance, but Neteyam fell to his knees and held your small hands as if pleading with you to stay.
"No, don't care about them, y/n! Yawne- My y/n, I will do anything to make them believe─" He cried, desperation so evident that you had to look away or else you'd slap him and say you love him back. And you weren't supposed to do that, you promised his father something.
That's why you'd leave him.
"Make them believe what exactly? No matter how many reasons you give them, they will never accept whatever we have!" You grabbed your hands from him and you walked off, and as you looked at him one final time─a grimace on your face that hid all the pain.
"Na'vi and Humans should never be together." You whispered before disappearing from his sight.
And the last thing you see was the betrayal Neteyam has in his eyes, the tears falling down from his cheeks and down to the hand that tried to reach out to you, pleading you'd come back.

I DEMAND NETEYAM CONTENT !!
𝗕𝗘𝗚 𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗧 aged-up! neteyam x navi reader
Tumblr media
If there was at least one thing that Neteyam knows about your character, it's the fact that you were a complete psycho. Often times a real charmer, but it was all a disguise to your incredible amount of jealousy. Ever since being mated together and up to leading the entire clan as the his tsahik, that's all you've ever been perceived by all the women who dared lay a finger on the chief.
"That woman... who was she?" Your eyes set focus on his amber eyes, yet your hand laid trails of befuddling touches all over his body as you caged him under you. Your things thickly hugged his torso. Neteyam lulled his eyes a bit from the sensation, trembling from the way you easily made him feel touch-starved.
"Yaw... 'ne... ma'yawne... Please don't do this to me..." He cries, wanting to just indulge himself in a pleasurable being such as yourself. But it was a pity you were taught how to tie up naughty people who dare try to make a fool out of themselves by making you jealous. "I was only... Uhm, I didn't mean to... ah fuck.. mmh please..."
You scoffed at the sight of the great Olo'eyktan crying under you. You gave him a nasty look which made him look like he wanted to cry. "Who even gave you that stupid idea? Tch, it's absolutely unacceptable." As you drew circles on his shoulders with your finger, he started to breath heavily and, in sign of over stimulation, he was starting to drool while the teasing continued.
"Y/n... Just one... I'll be good, I swear..." Neteyam begged. One wet kiss from you was enough to just teleport him to Paradise. Or perhaps hell, because he'd keep wanting more. And if he was lucky enough, you'd give him as much as he wanted.
"You swear? Really?" You teased some more, buckling your bottom and pressing it harder on his groin. Your right hand caressed his tense muscles, while your other went to scratching his chin. You smirked playfully the moment he started writhing from yearning to have a taste of you, and he begged you to release him.
"I'm a good mate, please... Ma'yawne, uh I was deceived by the elders... to-to test your loyalty... it's wrong! I hate myself that I believed them, I am loyal only to one woman... Ngh, which is you!! You are the only one... y/n! Mhmm, so please, do anything!" Neteyam's voice was hoarse but he still said all those in just one breath, his chest rising so high and his speeech turning slurred.
You, however, clicked your tongue. He was too loud. People from outside your tent would hear. And thinking of it had you worried if the people might just overhear the process of conceiving the next Omaticayan prince or princess. You were worried about that instead of being concerned how you let the Olo'eyktan cry while you lay on top of him.
"Oh, Ma' Olo'eyktan," You laughed as you lowered your chest to press against his, and as well as your head to whisper something close to his ears, your tone quite condescending and promiscuous as your breath caused shivvers to ran down his spine. He knew he was getting it. "You're so cute when you beg."
and then you stabbed him with a knife.

"𝗠𝗔 𝗬𝗔𝗪'𝗡𝗘. . . ?" His voice, pained and hoarse. Neteyam looked at his mate dying in his arms. The disappearance of the light in her eyes turned off all sense of consciousness in his body.
"Yaw'ne! Do not— no! You can't do this to me! Yaw'ne! Not now, not ever! My love— Look at me, please!" He cried, trembling as his chest heaved from the panic and anxiety he was feeling.
"Yaw'ne, look at me!" In an attempt to make a corpse look into him, he grasped her hand and placed it on his cheek, all while his other hand pushed through her chest, where blood spilled all over. Neteyam couldn't recognize himself anymore, all he could do was feel the warmth he couldn't embrace would be the last he'd ever feel from her as she went cold and pale.
In that moment, all he could think of was the future he envisioned with her, lost in a matter of moments. The love he swore to protect, the woman he promised to cherish, and soul he offered his life to. Gone. He couldn't grasp reality completely and amidst the war cry that echoes across the depressing field, he wouldn't take his eyes off her as tears swelled from his eyes, emotions daring to spill out.
He thought that if she stayed back, such thing would never happen. How did it come to this? How could one bullet determine the faith of someone? The faith of his mate, his love? Just Why?
He couldn't take off his eyes off of Yawne, the pain evident in his eyes as he looked at hers, lifeless and dim. All colors sucked off, replaced with the impeccable reminder that she no longer was with him. And will no longer be apart of a life she was supposed to be filling with colors.
"..." Neteyam spoke no more, but the silence has never been more loud. It was a mystery, really. How a broken heart can drive a man insane.
It was hard and brutal in each passing second. As smoke filled the air, so did the grief of the people all around him amidst the time of war. The cries of agony of a man who lost his mate was what filled the silence after the immediate aftermath of a battle between the RDA and the Omaticaya people.
Those who survived knew that if the Skypeople were foolish enough to have not surrendered earlier, then Toruk Makto's son— no, a man having been bereaved of his mate would've annihilated them with no hesitation and with bloodlust.
Neteyam's screams and shouts to bring her back were painful to hear to all those who were fortunate enough to be alive. As they echoed across the silenced field stocked with the corpse of Na'vis and Humans, taunting the ears of the many Omaticayan warriors that beared and witnessed the rage of the Omaticayan Prince's grief and agony upon losing his lover.
Tumblr media
Neteyam never felt so conflicted in all his life. His father was Toruk Makto, yes. However, he never thought once in his life that it would be the sole reason for his forced departure from the home he's ever known. And setting all of it aside, the biggest part of not wanting to go was because his love rested with his people. And the thought of having no exact time of going back home scared him to the depth of his soul.
"I have to leave you, my love." A tear traced down his cheek and to his chin. Neteyam smiled even if he was in pain, the sides of his lips trembling as he stood in front of a boulder decorated with striking bioluminescent flowers and herbs. This was where his mate was buried, a place he almost spent his time on after he lost her.
"I'm sorry..." Neteyam whispered, butb then his knees started weakening that he had fallen down and broke into tears. He held his shoulders, as if hugging himself as he sobbed. "Please know that I don't want to do this. I want to stay with you... But I can't."
Even if he couldn't bear the pain of learning that he might as well never be able to see the memories of the life he once had, in the end, he found himself embarking on a harsh journey with his family. And although Neytiri and Jake knew about their son's dying desire to just be in the hands of the great mother just to be with Yawne, they would do everything to protect their son.
A sad soul waiting to just disappear was the person Neteyam had become. He never laughed whole heartedly nor expressed the same happiness he once had before tragedy of a broken heart befall on him. He never acted the same, focusing only on keeping his siblings align because it was the only thing Neteyam was left to do.
If he disappeared, Yawne would be disappointed of him. That is what he thinks, that deep inside, his mate would be upset if he would just off himself and leave his responsibilities as a son and a brother just to be with her.
From the very arrival of the Sully's in the Awa'atlu clan, he's always been perceived as the saddest amongst the forest children, unresponsive in daylight and sullen in the night. The village people pinpointed it. The tsahik of the Metkayina clan expressed her pity for him, to the point that he could not bear it anymore.
His brother and sister were in pain watching him cry every night, whispering the name of his deceased mate. All while he wished to be with just himself and his aching heart, in nights where he cradled himself to sleep. And kissed the necklace that only he had taken to leave with him as a part of his mate. The necklace that he weaved for his childhood sweetheart, dating back from when he had just learnt how to bead traditional jewelry at the ripe age of five just to impress his mate.
The memories that brought him back were the only thing that kept him together. He spent his life with his mate even before bonding with her as lovers. Neteyam had so much memories that the idea of it running out just made his day damp.
"Yaw'ne... It won't be long, I promise." One evening before tragedy happened, the boy had whisper as he looked at the beautiful sunset that reminded him only of one person, Yaw'ne.
The dazling gold color of the reef that blinded his eyes. The dewy-colored sky and it's undoubtedly gorgeous sight. And the atmosphere that flowed with warmth, that even if it wasn't as close to be similar to the warmth and comfort he felt by embracing her, it reminded him greatly of his mate.
Thinking about it made him smile genuinely, laughing to himself. "If things aren't the way it is, you would be sitting next to me, Yawne. You would've love the ocean."
The smile Neteyam showed, unknowingly, would be the last.
Tumblr media
"Dad, I wanna go home─" Even as he lay dying in the same way his late lover had died, it was the only words that came out of his mouth when he looked at his father. He thought that for once in his life, he could be a bit selfish. Neteyam struggled to breathe as he looked at his parents and at Lo'ak. Blood seeped down his mouth but he spoke once more, this time with great desperation.
"I just want to see her again... I miss her─" Neteyam cried, eyes swelling with tears. Even through Lo'ak's pleads for him to stop, Neytiri's panic and to Jake's realization, all of them could see the desperation in his eyes.
"I miss her so much..." Neteyam longed for a moment of silence and he got it. His parents grieved for him as he lay dead on the cold ocean, eyes wide open as though they stared at the sky like any other day he spent at sea.
His eyes were dim when she died. But now, his amber eyes were at its dimmest. Neteyam died that day, with a bullet ending the pain he never thought would be the one to kill him in its stead.
It was the pain that killed him, and the acceptance that made him rest alas. It would be a mistake to underestimate the influence of love, thus, accepting it would lead into eternity.

Neteyam couldn't figure out what he felt when he first laid his eyes on you. He was fifteen, and he didn't know what love even was or how it felt to have it for someone in a romantic light. He remembered your unforgettable eyes looking into his in a way that made him feel an explosion erupt inside his chest, the subtle feeling of being dominated by your existence unconsciously was more than enough to make him feel some sort of connection towards a girl like you.
The reef truly was filled with wonders, and that wonder was you.
The first time you introduced yourself to him as a teacher to him and his siblings, he was awestruck by your personality and habits. Even more so by your beauty. Neteyam could even remember every detail about you, he was that obsessed. He remembered how you spoke to him in a pleasant manner that it made him feel comfortable, how you liked to squint your eyes whenever you see something that made you happy, and Neteyam even remembered the placement of your moles and glowing freckles.
He was determined to know more about you as much as you were determined to teach him everything you knew about the reef. If he were honest, you don't have to be a star to have his attention on you all day. Neteyam loved you just the way you are, and he looked forward to letting you know he loved you.
Even if there were also Tsireya, Ao'nung and Rotxo, you were the only one he paid attention to. He wasn't shy about his feelings, and he didn't even want to hide how charmed he was by your existence. Neteyam was a simp for you, and you only. He would constantly think of this chance as a gift from Eywa as the deity had given him a clear advantage to form a relationship with you, if not a friendship.
Every time he needed advice or help with something, he'd be bouncing over to you, calling you with nicknames you didn't quite expect to be called with. "Princess, could you help me with—" And as far as you can remember, he so often called you his princess. He would hide a cheeky smile whenever he calls you with it, and seeing your freckles glow and ears turn bright red made him smile from ear to ear.
Neteyam was very sweet, gentle and kind towards you, and you couldn't help but notice how intensely interested he is on you unlike how he did with everybody else. You couldn't interpret it at first, but it'll soon be broken down when the boy slowly started to be more affectionate towards you. He would act protective and follow you around almost every free time he had away from his family.
Neteyam would enjoy the sight of you smiling and laughing, you were the only one to occupy his mind. And he hoped it would be the same for you too when the time comes. He was so smitten he couldn't stop himself from feeling all sorts of emotions he wasn't even familiar with. But Neteyam knew it was what you call love.
And when he was without you, he would feel incomplete. His mother noticed this and immediately figured him out. He would hide his smile whenever Neytiri would ask him everything about him and you. And even though you two were apart, he had you in his heart. It was even hard to believe that his heart were his if you were the only thing in it.
Neteyam started visiting your marui and staying with you till dawn to tell stories about him in the forest, he would constantly start offering you his food, giving you flowers he picked from below the surface of the reef, comforting you during times you didn't feel like waking up, giving you his hand-crafted tops, offering to braid your hair and even trying to hold your hand continuously even as you push him away.
But you eventually made him hold it, and you would shy away from him and avoid his eyes all while permitting him to interlace his hand with you. You of course knew (high key) that he liked you and he was slowly getting too clingy with you. Was he perhaps courting you? Duh. Of course he is. Everybody knew, the clan knew. And they were waiting for the relationship to progress.
You would tell this to your friend, Tsireya, and she would gesture how genuine the eldest of the Sully kids were with his feeling with you. She would convince you to assert and show your favor to him as you had also fallen for him more deeply than you expected, and at some point you almost had him to yourself if it weren't for Toruk Macto suddenly showing up to ruin everything you prepared for.
Neteyam's siblings on the other hand, knew about their brother's tiny obsession from the very start, and it didn't hurt for them to help him a little. Every time they had the chance to leave him with you, they would take their time getting other's attention away from the two of you. Neteyam appreciated it, very much. He waited patiently to have you to himself too, and maybe you didn't realize this because you were blinded with embarrassment if someone catches you being close with him.
Until one time, Neteyam found you waiting for him by the roots of the mangrove tree, sitting patiently on the warm sand. You looked dazzling more than usual, and Neteyam would have heart in his eyes if you keep being so beautiful.
"Neteyam, I'm glad you are able to come." You called out to him with a wave and a smile that made his heart beat go insane, and for a moment he felt like his bones were about to melt. Was he dreaming? He recognized the top you were wearing and he could tell that you wore it intentionally before inviting him over to scoop the space beside her. After all, he was the one to knead it.
"You called for me, of course I would come." Neteyam smiled, scooting more closely to her. You would smile back at him before you would mention how beautiful the top he gave you was. And him, all while being speechless, would give you a sheepy and goofy smile. He was so happy that he could feel every fiber of his body be on cloud nine. He covered his face with his hands, and you laughed as you watched him do so.
He still hasn't notice it, but this was your sign of accepting him.
At that very moment, when you two felt your skin brush with each other, both turned slowly to look at one another. Neteyam's smile disappeared, and you were worried for a moment. But when he looked at your eyes in a serious manner, he looked so in love.
"I see you." He said before he held your cheek and kissed you like it was the last. It was your first so you weren't familiar with the joy you felt at that moment, and so was Neteyam. He could feel your warm breath and it made him feel needed, he held your waist and pulled you to him, squeezing you tightly as you digged your nails to his skin when the kiss started to become more affectionate.
Once you broke away from him, in a breathy mess, you looked at his eyes with a smile that was genuine and also inlove before you whispered, "I see you, Neteyam."

tw: mention of mutilation, cursing in na'vi, drug abuse, torture, etc.
Tumblr media
𝗭𝗔𝗥𝗜 never truly understood the concept of what it is to be human. She was pure Navi, all she's ever known is that everything in Pandora has a sense of respect and understanding for all living things. That is what humans differed greatly from them.
"Speak your name." Parker Selfridge spoke, his inhumane eyes bore into the deep brown eyes of the blue-skinned child in front of him. Even if her stature and body were slightly bigger than his, it was clear who was the boss of whom. And contrary to that, the na'vi he was facing was barely even of-age. It was a Na'vi child.
"Oeru syaw Tsu'zari te Rongloa Sanari'ite."
She spoke bluntly, looking at the human in front of her with blood lust even with such a calm face. She gave him a gaze of the unwillingness to submit to him. If only she wasn't tied and held captive by a chair that was designed specifically for her, she would have easily pounced the bastard in front of her.
"Don't play with me, you ballsy little brat," Parker spoke through gritted teeth, his face spilling in frustration and anger. But after a few seconds, his face calmed down again and he smiled. "Say it. From now on, what are you called?"
Zari learned one thing about enemies. It's that they do not deserve an ounce of what they call sympathy. She learned it the hard way.
"I said, My name is Tsu'zari te Rongloa─" Zari hissed at him, bearing her canines at the man who only alerted the entire ward filled with soldiers. And before she could finish what she was saying, a strong sweep of a tazer touched her skin and charged a horrifying amount of shock to her body.
"Argh! Kal-wey-aveng!! Rahhh!" She shrieked, screaming in agony as the shock of electricity kept running to her entire body. Parker stared at her as she was being tortured mercilessly at the hands of the RDA soldiers.
"Alright! Alright! You heard me, that's about enough to tame this batshit kid." Parker laughed incredulously, as he looked down on Zari, whose face showed extreme discomfort while she heaved, holding in her tears.
She was certain she endured much more than a simple minute of being tazed by the demons who invaded her world. But she couldn't help but want to cry as she looked at them, wanting to end her suffering and be near home again. Zari was only eight years old, she didn't want any of this.
But one look at Parker Selfridge, the person who thought that kidnapping na'vi children would be a good idea for the RDA's expansion in Pandora, Zari could feel the strength and anger that all her ancestors passed onto her.
"You see this? This is a Taser, and it hurts people. Especially to you indigenous fellas, do you hear me?" Showing off a very humanoid weapon, he just oh so loved to threaten Navis with it, showing no sign of humane emotions. "Weapons like these are made specifically for disobedient animals like yourself."
"And I did not waste millions of dollars and my time just so you'd disrespect me like that, brat. I fed you good meat. I gave you everything a kid could ever want." He kept squawking, yet all Zari could interpret was the insults he keep on throwing at her and it enraged her. As a young Navi child, she's confident she's the first and youngest one to feel such an inappropriate amount of anger and resentment inside.
"Kxutu!" Zari yelled hoarsely, trying to break free from her restraint. But immediately, her queue got pulled harshly and she let out a high-pitched scream that echoed throughout the ward within the time span.
"You know, I don't really like you at all. But... I must say, I'm quite impressed that you learned your way into understanding English. The other kids aren't as good as you are, as Doctor Melendez says." Parker claims, acting like the demon he is.
Doctor Melendez was one of the few scientists to assist Parker with the project of transforming the abducted Navi children into the RDA's pets. For the past ten months, the scientist herself was the one to teach the seven hostages how to speak English and how to act 'human'
Now that Zari had the chance to think of it, the one human who was ever gentle to her and the others were just like any other human. She hated it so much that she wanted to scream. But she can't let her guard down the moment Parker started smirking as he observed her with keen eyes.
Zari's blue skin made him smirk.
"You know, I've always wondered if Earth needs Blue Bags." Zari couldn't understand what he was saying, but hearing all the humans around her laugh made her hiss at them. She tried once again to break free from her restraints but was hit in the head by one of the soldiers.
"Demon! You deserve to die!" As if she's not already been hit by a gun and being grabbed harshly by her queue, the soldiers continued to give her glares and it made her smile with insanity leaking out of her eyes. "My older brother, Toruk Makto will come and kill you!"
Mentioning the alternative name of one specific former marine somehow made the whole lab silent and Parker's face turned completely upside down. He looked as though he was being provoked. "You are the perfect example of a useless lab rat. And you speak too much, little Ziri."
Before she could react once again, Parker had already made a haste move. Ziri could feel a sharp object impaling her throat, gushing in liquid she couldn't phantom what was. It took her a minute to process what was happening, only to realize that she's been injected a drug infused medicine.
She looked at him one last time, eyes dilated and breathing heavily, she cursed. "Eywa... will... end you... humans."
"Whatever you say, monkey." Parker paid no mind and ejected the syringe from Ziri's neck. He was scared that Ziri was connected to the likes of Jake Sully, and he had no choice but to do one very last move. He looked at the RDA soldiers and motioned.
"You know what to do, put this one in cryo like the rest. We have a hometree to harvest, the project is postponed by my order."
Ziri's eyes caved, and the last thing she ever sees was Parker Selfridge's back facing her. Don't let them succeed, Ma Eywa.
Tumblr media
Seasoned by the covetousness of humans, Tsu'zari grew to be a child between two planets. All the happiness she thought she could have had fell into neglect and evaporated into nothing more than a hazy dream waiting to disappear. All she ever knew of her true heritage deteriorated when she was colonized and held captive for the prime years of her life. Commandeered by aliens who expect her to acclimate and adapt to their gruesome morals.
Never once again facing the land of her home, and instead kept in a metal facility where they are kept in wards filled with human soldiers. With no other choice but to speak the language of their enemy in order to survive the entirety of the day, and at night, they dreamed of coming back to their clan, connecting with the sacred tree, and reconciling with their families. But they wondered just when that will happen when Humans and Navis were far from being accustomed to each other.
Upon the abduction of Zari and other woeful Na'vi children in the year 2154, that was when she learns that their faith is sealed not by Eywa, but by the Skypeople. For months and years on end, Ziri was instructed under the supervision of the RDA along with six other Navi hostages.
Their reason? To turn these children against their own people.
Zari had dreamed that one day they would be rescued, however, that day never truly arrived. Because as far as she knew and what she believed, her clan had no possibility of knowing what could've been the reason behind her and the other kids' disappearance.
So for the next seventeen years, Zari accepted her faith in adapting to the morals of humans, surviving each passing day learning their machinery, technology, and human intent of expanding their control to the western frontiers of Pandora. With her insanity being on the brink of failure, she endured the mental suffering and awaited for her time until she sets her eyes again on the home she once knew.
But there was a catch to it.
She never knew exactly when that time will come. Or who she will be siding with. Zari and the others were frightened that they would be manipulated by the RDA to spill the blood of their own.

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 ; 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗦 chapter seven
Tumblr media
Tok'ma was a beautiful ikran with green skin plastered with yellow and brown stripes. He was huge, almost as if he's been boarded in the middle of wars and battles. The creature was simply majestic, and the moment Navieh's eyes landed on him, it held eye contact with her as his rider, Neteyam started to prepare for their departure.
"His eyes are beautiful... and covert... and deep... as if he has a story to tell." Navieh continued to stare into Tokma's eyes, not breaking the contact. Even though Neteyam knew of how the girl had many instances that she acted lightheaded, he took notice of how her voice started to sound breathy and she was starting to act ditzy as if being hypnotized.
"You're thinking too much of it. He's just a silly ikran." Neteyam laughed as he stood next to her, leaning his head closer as if he expected her to look at him. But when she continued to not break eye contact with his ikran, he started to feel uneasy.
Neteyam narrowed his eyes for a milisecond and then decided to ruin the moment by 'accidentally' pushing his ikran's head to the side before he handed out his coat to her. "Wear this so you don't get cold, Navieh. I'll help you board, and we'll follow the others."
"Thanks," She grabbed the coat and wore the coat in no less than a second before she looked at Neteyam sharply and walked past him. With no warning, she took a deep breath and propelled herself up in the air, boarding the ikran with no worry.
Neteyam's eyes grew big just by seeing her reckless act, knowing fully well that she was still─ because of him, bleeding. "You could've given me a head's up! Are you alright?" He yelled, grabbing Navieh's hand which caught her off guard.
"Don't I look alright to you?" She sneered at him, knowing fully well that he was thinking that she still needed his help, when in fact, she didn't. Her abdomen hurt a little and stinged, but nothing aside from that felt excruciating. "You're overreacting. Hurry up, Lo'ak and Kiri are already flying their ikran. We're gonna lose sight of them."
Neteyam couldn't fully grasp what just happened, but from the way he looks at it, a really pretty na'vi girl just boarded his ikran with no signs of difficulty. He was impressed, much more over the fact that she was able to tame his ikran with just a few scratches on the head. If it was that easy to tame his ikran, how long would it take for her to just tame him as well?
He laughed lightly just at the thought. But surprisingly, Navieh felt disturbed by his sudden laughter and harshly pulled his hair. This was something she grew as a habit, pulling people's hair when she's weirded out. A habit she picked up from her adoptive mother. "The hell are you laughing for?" She bellowed.
"Are you sure you're not purposely letting us fly behind so you could drop me off the face of Pandora? Or do you want to hurry it up so I don't steal Tokma from you?"
Neteyam strutted forward from her warning and immediately nodded his head, denying her absurd speculations. "I'm a good man! I promise! I'm not going to ever hurt you again." He submissively speaks, gently holding the hand that Navieh used to hold onto his hair as if he was telling it to let go.
Navieh sighs and did let go eventually. She honestly expected that the boy would pull her off his ikran and leave her behind, but it seems she's just being pessimistic per usual. "You're silly, Neteyam."
Neteyam waited no more and boarded Tok'ma as soon as he connected his queue with him. He sat behind Navieh, and was about to propel them into the air, but he paused to ask a question. "Are you comfortable with me holding you?" He whispers behind his shoulder as he leaned his head, hoping she'd hear.
She nodded lightly as she bites her lips and held onto Neteyam's free arm. She inhaled heavily, closed her eyes, and repeatedly told herself not to scream. Navieh squirmed a little from the contact and gulped, feeling Neteyam's hand grabbing onto the side of her waist with no injury.
"Are we up yet?" She asks rather softly upon feeling the strong scent of the ocean in her olfactory senses, and how tender the wind embraced her skin as she feel Neteyam's breath hitting her neck.
"Open your eyes." She hears him. His gentle way of speaking was enough to enlighten her, trusting him fully by the way he had spoken to her. And when she followed his request, her eyes sparkled as she sees the beauty that was quick to awe her.
Just before her, she saw something she's never seen in her life. Yes, she lived in the reefs and traveled through dozens of clans in the oceans, but never in her life did she expect that she'd see the ocean that embraced her existence from the air, from above.
The clouds looked like they were just by her reach but nevertheless so clear and pristine, the ocean looked breathless from above and its beauty can be seen from the air. The sky showcased even more of the visionary beauty, looking absolutely splendid with how gradient it looked from the first appearance of light in the sky before sunrise.
A few meters afar, she could see Kiri and Lo'ak waving at her from their ikrans, a distance enough for her to hear their laughter. They had smiles, showing just how they have the same opinions with thinking of how beautiful the sight just is. She saw how Jake Sully and Neytiri slowed down to be on par with her and Neteyam, and she couldn't help but smile.
How heavenly it looked, it just showed from how she started to ease up. Her shoulders melted into Neteyam's chest and a smile started creeping on her face. "Do you have anything to say?" The boy behind her asks, and suddenly she feels embarrassed about how she acted like a child seeing something so beautiful for the first time.
Navieh wanted to say how beautiful it was, and how she was kind of thankful she even got to experience the feeling of being one with the air, but all that left her mouth was an anxious request. "Please promise not to drop me."
Behind her words, Neteyam could deeply see through her. She was worried, and it disappointed him. Did she really think he'd drop her? He mumbled something in her ear, causing Navieh to look at him briefly before sighing in relief.
Tumblr media
"Only a fool would drop a girl like you."
There has been many instances where Tsireya has covered up the past escapades Navieh had taken over the course of years. She didn't necessarily feel troubled in covering up her adoptive sister's fun and reckless little ways of enjoying herself, but this time, Tsireya couldn't come up with any excuses anymore.
Now that it got to the point that she faced both her parents after just commanding a hoard of the clan warriors to set sail and find her elder sister who's been missing for three days, almost going four. Tsireya bowed her head in unease as both Ronal and Aonung gave her a frustrated look and of disapproval. She could feel herself getting tiny every second that passed.
"Tsireya, I am asking you one more time, where has your sister gone?! I've heard enough of these excuses!" Ronal shrieked, starting to sound like she was going mad while she walked in circles in the Marui. Despite Tonowari's countless reassurance, she never really did stop a second of worrying. And Tsireya couldn't blame her, as Navieh was her family too and she was just as worried as her mother.
"Mother, I─ I don't know... I thought she'd be back by dawn the other day so... I really don't know..." She reasons, looking at her mother one more time. Tsireya faced the same question a few days ago. Ronal only sighed as Tonowari ushered his youngest daughter, speaking no disappointment to her, but to Navieh's untold whereabouts.
The Awa'atlu clan has already taken action in the search for Navieh, however, all efforts of finding the girl ended in vain. It's been three days since no one has heard about the young tsakarem, her disappearance was only noted when Vito, the girl's Ilu, arrived at the clan with it's owner nowhere to be seen.
At first, Tsireya had made an excuse to cover up her sister's disappearance, thinking that the very next day, she'd come back. But almost days passed, and things were starting to get frantic and chaotic.
It was Ronal's mistake as well, for being not too strict about all the things Navieh is privileged enough to do as the clan's tsakarem. The anxious tsahik covers her face with her hand as she paced out of her marui and straight outside just to take a deep deep breath.
She held her stomach as if manifesting something, whispering. She breathed the fresh air and looked above to see the blue sky, holding back tears. She has never lost a child, and the thought of it scared her. "Ma Eywa, wherever she is, please protect my child."
Not even a few seconds after, there was a sudden sound that entered her ears. The clan's horn blew off with a loud pang, signalling that there was something a matter for the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik to see.
Ronal was immediate to react and gave her mate a sharp look. Tonowari understood what she meant and nodded, diving down the water where his skimwing awaited for him with no hesitation. His son looked at him and looked back at his mother.
Ronal looked back behind her to see her children and warned the eldest. "Aonung, Tsireya, you two should stay here until further notice." And then , she quickly walked off without any more words. But despite the warning, Aonung still followed behind without much fear from his mom, and Tsireya followed her brother.
Aonung and Tsireya ended up fast pacing through the crowd, with the eldest protecting his sibling from bumping with the village folks. And even if he knew something not good was bound to happen, he still thought of one thing.
"Mother! What if it's Navieh?" Aonung asked, standing aside his mother finally after diving through the crowd of people, and as if he didn't have a clue that his mother was thinking the same. As they kept walking, Tsireya couldn't help but leave herself out of their conversation and kept walking alongside her mother and brother.
"I've told you to─ Ah, We do not know yet. But we'll see." Ronal said with a serious face, but the moment they reached the shore where their feet touched the warm sand and the whispering of the Awa'atlu clan people reached their ears, Ronal's face grew deeply immersed of what she had seen. Or rather, who she saw.
"Tsahik! The intruders, there are five of them, what should we do?" One of the warriors asked her, but she wasn't speaking terms. Ronal's mind was still thinking of so many things. Her eldest daughter took over a quarter of her mind.
Even with some of the people blocking their view of this unknown group of people, Ronal, and her kids could see clearly who landed on the shore. And they didn't resemble any of the people in Awa'atlu with their azure complexion and noticeably different features. It was easy to identify that they were foreigners, really. No reef na'vi has ever flown in a creature with large wings.
Aonung and Tsireya thought the same as their mother the moment their eyes darted to the foreigners. The two looked at each other, and then to their mother. "Mom, aren't those creatures from land?" Tsireya asked, pointing at the aerial animals and feeling rather curious yet aware that she should be more cautious.
Ronal, instead of answering her child's question, only ever looked at the company, investigating their every move from how they unboarded their ikrans to how they looked at the reef people. They didn't necessarily give a hostile impression, but the tsahik was not a very kind person.
Tsireya looked back at the way her mother narrowed her eyes at the trespassers, and even her brother had the same unwelcoming gaze. "They shouldn't be here, not when 'Vieh is missing. Mother is in a very bad mood." The young girl only sighed, nibbling on her lips as she swam to the crowd to look closer. She looked at each one of them, but when her eyes darted upwards, her eyes widen at what she's seen.
"They are not welcome here─" Ronal looks at one of the village warriors, speaking in a rather frustrated manner. She gave every possible physical sign that meant she didn't want any visitors. But before she could squeeze herself through the crowd and probe more closely, some people made noise.
"There's another one! There's two of them!" Just as Ronal was about to accept that she and her chief mate were going to be handling only five intruders, then came another ikran with two riders. But then again, this time, her daughter yelled something that fell unexpectedly to the ears of the people.
"Its sister! She's─ The Tsakarem is with them!" Tsireya bellowed, motioning her head to look behind at her mother and brother who had just snapped out of their callous state. Ronal walked faster than his son, and the Tsahik couldn't believe her eyes.
As the last ikran landed on shore, the people grew more noisy and the warriors began hissing as they ran closer to where the foreigners were, yelling their Tsakarem's name─ Navieh, boarded in one of the Ikrans.

Neteyam, at a very young age, is trained alongside many of the young Omaticayan warriors.
He met and made great friends, as well as knew everyone around him while grown up, as he was a boy who honored everyone's story. Some of his fellow young warriors were orphaned and some were born just after the great battle between the Na'vis and the Skypeople.
And one, in particular, of all those he's met who he trained arm in arm, was a girl. His first ever love interest, his childhood sweetheart, the only ever girl he's dreamt to be with his entire adolescence. She was his first love, maybe even his last. She was such a wonder to him, he found her the most interesting creature that he's ever laid his eyes on. The first time they met was the happiest day for him. Getting to know her? Even so. She just had something in her that made him feel happy.
And she was a girl who was closely supervised under the guidance of his grandmother, Mo'at. She was a mindful young warrior, and a tsahik in the making.
As he is Olo'eyktan's first born son, he found this an opportunity to create a close relations with her. It makes sense. After all, is he is the chief's son, wouldn't that make him his father's successor? And as the next Olo'eyktan, he is to be promised to a eligible tsakarem. He was ecstatic over it and hoped for the day to come. So he patiently waited. However, he didn't just wasted his time waiting for it to happen, he needed to make sure it will happens. And so, along with his attempts to exceed the expectations as Toruk Macto's son, he also efforted on a girl along side it.
She was all he ever thought about throughout his years as a young warrior. There were chances he would ask elder na'vi males innocent questions how to bag a girl, or how to charm a girl into liking him back. He would also, although shyly, confront na'vi women on how to make simple flower crown, or bracelets and jewelries and even practice the art of kneading and crafting what the women of his clan would usually do. And although he did as what he was told, he didn't exactly think it would work nor did it even work on her.
He remembered failing to even impress her with his poorly knitted snood, or when he gave her letters confessing his love. Or the time when he tried to sing to her while she was eating which almost caused her to choke to death from laughter. At least she laughed, but he sulked his way to sleep after being scolded by his mother and grandmother, feeling extremely guilty for having to be the one that caused it. He couldn't sleep the entire night that happened, and even attempted to sneak out just to see how his love was doing. If it weren't for his sister catching him, and all he could do was ask for comfort and advice from his clueless sister, Kiri, who didn't even know what to do to him.
Lo'ak and Spider definetly didn't help much with cheering him up as well, all Neteyam ever knew he did was pull jokes and pranks on them that led them to a situation where they get to have fun and dilly dally as kids. And his father, he wasn't exactly sure how to feel about his young so developing such love for someone at his age, but he supported them countless time and even took advantage of the fact that he was Olo'eyktan. At some point, he even almost decided to have the two be promised to each other, of it wasn't for Eywa interfering.
But aside from that, there were some chances where Neteyam would constantly follow her around, hoping that his presence would be acknowledged by his love. And there were times where hope did come around, surprising him and making him feel content than ever. Neteyam was a sweet and desperate blue little rascal, wanting to get the attention of his sweetheart.
Her, on the other hand, just accepted her faith. Neteyam was a sweet boy, a gentleman who was very VERY serious about what he felt towards her. And although they were ten, she didn't have much choice but to accept him, even if she didn't really have the heart to tell him that she didn't feel comfortable having a boy feel responsible to be her future mate.
As a matter of fact, she thought of it as some kind of burden, at some point in her life. She would have Neytiri tell her how adorable they were, calling them like a 'mini couple', even if she was just minding her business and Neteyam was just goofily watching her do her thing. She liked the boy, truly. But not romantically enough to have the entire clan go bonkers and be extremely advanced with setting her and Neteyam up to be each other's promised mate.
The boy was happy, and that's all she ever wanted for him. But she wasn't, and she couldn't blame him for that so she instead blames herself. She felt distresses and guilty not having the same love and care that Neteyam had for her. If she did, she would be happy. Was it her fault that she was like him? To have a another to occupy her mind as a kid? A sweetheart of her own that she liked but couldn't tell if it's hopelessly unrequited? How burdensome, the emotions she felt. And for Eywa's sake, she was just a child and she already had the weight of such situation.
She felt troubled having to knows that every time she would look away from Neteyam, she worried that he would see her adoring someone else just as how he does to her. It would break her heart, and she would feel responsible for his pain too. She needed it to end, she just didn't feel the same way. And she needed to free herself from his 'feelings' and to have the freedom of also having a childhood sweetheart. Wouldn't that be great?
Neteyam could feel his heart break into multiple pieces the day he realizes the long years of his love for her turned out to be unrequited. He was fourteen when it all came to an end, and he was a boy so hopelessly in love that he couldn't take in the lie he was told as a mere boy who only wanted to have her attention, he adoration, her care, her warmth. He only ever wanted her, she was his home, and even as she found her new mate- her own love, he still was in love with her. And he continued to endlessly do so, even if she didn't and will never feel the same.
It definetly pained him for his sweet love to label him as a brother after she had decided to choose another, and not him, as a mate. He fell in love with her, so young yet deeply in love. Even if it hurts, he learned to accept it until the day he, and his family, departed from the clan where he left her with one last loving and sorrowful smile, symbolizing the young and lively love he had once have for her to finally end.
Even so, as he took his last breath, dying on a cold boulder in the middle of a reef he was forced to call his home, his mind was still occupied by her once loving presence when they were still young. His family watched as his life flashed before their eyes, until his last breath. Neteyam thoughts of his childhood sweetheart until he caved out of a world that only ever failed him.
"And even though we're not together, my heart belongs to you, as yours does to another."

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 ; 𝗧𝗦𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗠 chp four
Tumblr media
Neytiri felt a special connection towards the girl she was tending to, she couldn't phantom why but she just did. From the very moment she layed eyes on her, she felt a spark emit inside her soul as if there was something inside her head that told her the girl was no stranger. Perhaps now she was right now, but she got a feeling that something would happen in the near future.
Her husband didn't exactly explain how he had found the girl nor how it got to the point that he was willing to let a stranger rest among his fortress, but Neytiri asked no question and performed her way of treatment. She had her kids with her by her side all while she attended to the girl.
Mostly it was eldest who had helped the most, while the rest of her kids helped their father.
"You were near being in Eywa's grasp, you are lucky." Neytiri mumbled to her. She watched as Na'vieh squirmed from the contact she had received from her touch, she worried that she was too vulnerable to even have a conversation and seeing her crippled on a makeshift bed didn't help much into thinking she could leave her alone.
But Na'vieh, much to Neytiri's surprise, answered back in a rather troubled manner. Though she could not blame her for it, but she listened.
"I think it's the opposite." Na'vieh told her blatantly, and it made the older woman pause. It was the first time she had talked to her after a night long of nursing her. "It would've been lucky if she just upped her decision and took me with her. But I'm not gonna complain."
Neytiri was a bit shocked from such an answer, kind of finding her way of speaking her mind to be funny yet reckless. It was as if Eywa was a person from the way she speaks. Nevertheless, she nodded her head in agreement with Na'vieh, which surprisingly made the girl express a light smile.
"I believe Eywa let you live through this for a reason." Neytiri said, finishing the treatment she had given her. Although, instead of hearing a 'thank you' from her, Na'vieh didn't let anything block her away from asking her the same question everyone in the Sully family wondered about.
"How do you know me?" Na'vieh asked, her tone was serious and it genuinely made Neytiri feel helpless. "Neytiri, I need to know. Have we met before?"
"No." All while avoiding her eyes, Neytiri answered her and continued to explain herself. "We've never met before. But I must be honest, I was warned by Eywa about your appearance in my life."
"Really? How long ago? Do you also speak to the mother?"
"I do not know when exactly, but it was more than a couple of days ago. When... my family and I... left our home."
For a moment, Na'vieh felt conflicted by her explanation and remained quiet. She looked away from Neytiri and sunk herself in her own thoughts. For her, the woman's answer seemed lacking in some way and it didn't really satisfied her. Until Neytiri spoke again, but this time she was looking elsewhere and not into her eyes.
"I am a tsakarem just like you." Softly, Neytiri said. "The differences is that unlike you, I cannot speak with Eywa personally. But I am eligible enough to interpret her wills and wishes. Which led to me knowing who you are, and why you are here, Navieh."
"I do not see into you, Neytiri Soli. I don't understand, but I'll pretend that I do." Neytiri still didn't look at her, meyhaps she didn't know how to answer her. So Na'vieh asked a question once more to avoid developing an awkward atmosphere. "So Eywa told you about me then? Why do you think she did that?"
It took a moment for Na'vieh to realize that she was looking at her son, Neteyam, who sat just beside her husband. She raised an eyebrow at this act, but later ignored it. She waited patiently for an answer.
"I do not know." Neytiri replied in all honesty, then she looked back at Na'vieh with a smile as if both of them knew each other already. "But it must be because you are more than what you seem to be, Na'vieh. And my family needs your help. Perhaps you will help us, that is why I think Eywa had sent you to us."
Silence occupied the conversation for a moment, and none of the two tsakarems spoke.
Na'vieh pursed her lips and dumbfoundedly looked at Neytiri like she was crazy, she silently gave the older woman a look. For some reason, Na'vieh was offended by her answer.
"So... you think Eywa purposely made your son impale me just to have me helping you, and your fugitive family who's on the run because of being hunted down by demon aliens?" She nonchalantly said with a taunting expression that caused Neytiri to suddenly grow anxious. The girl was starting to creep her out.
The longer she received a look of provocation, the more Neytiri sweated and acted flimsy and helpless. "No— no, that isn't what I meant. I didn't mean to— That's wrong... Ah, you misinterpreted it, what I mean is that... Uhm."
Na'vieh didn't mean to scare her that much, so she laughed lightly from the way Neytiri was acting. She was reminded by how often she made the Metkayina folks just as helpless with her way of casual speaking, and it seems she had yet again did the same sly move she would do.
She simpered and couldn't control herself from giggling, covering her mouth as she threw her head away from being in Neytiri's sight.
"I didn't mean to throw the blame on your son, please don't be worried." She laughed, her eyes even disappearing because of her smile that reached both her cheeks.
Neytiri adored this girl, it showed from the way she was touched by her personality. She calmed after hearing her crack up, promptly also making her express a small smile.
This caught the whole family's attention, as well as the other kids who were at the side, watching the way Na'vieh laugh for the first time. Even Jake and Neteyam looked astonished, they wondered how and what could Neytiri possibly did to make her laugh.
Loak watched his mom smile at another person and he felt his mind go blank for a moment. "Bro, look at mom." He smacked the shoulder of his sister and pointed at both Na'vieh and Neytiri.
Kiri, who just saw it also went blank. "Tuk, look at mom." In return, she lightly smacked the youngest's shoulder and told her to look at their mom laughing with another girl.
Tuk, who also saw it couldn't contain her shock and launched forward to her mother so suddenly, hoping to know why she was getting along too well with the stranger her dad bought in.

𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 ; 𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗦 chp two
Tumblr media
Jake knew best not to run towards where his family were, that was his best way of protecting them from a potential threat. He could feel himself clinging onto dear life, hoping that one vengeful little na'vi girl wouldn't murder him just as easily as he thought.
He's had enough experience and he wasn't the least bit enlightened at what trouble he had dragged himself into.
"Please, I mean no harm!" Jake yelled, he was finally getting tired of playing tag. Nevertheless, it is likely for him to even have a choice to put up a fight with whoever he was facing unless he actually needed to. "I've come only for uturu! I am not your enemy so please— Argh!" The moment he looked back, he saw the blade the girl was holding just an inch from his neck.
"What the fuck are you?!" The man yelled in panic, he could feel his whole body trembling. Obviously, the girl was a trained hunter. A warrior, at the very least, with such skills in drawing a blade. Jake could feel his heart beat fast, he never felt this panicked before and juat how unlucky he is now to be encountering a murder child.
"Close your filthy mouth! I refuse to believe that you are na'vi, you do not belong here and I will kill you and your group of impostors if it means to protect my clan!" And then she hit him again with a mighty blow capable of tripping her enemy.
Na'vieh yelled, it has been a very long time since she's had the opportunity to feel the emotions of a warrior and she was more than ruthless now than she remembered. She was just blinded by the thought of driving away the enemy.
Jake didn't understand her warning very clearly and kept himself in her naked eye the moment he pulled himself back up, causing her to hiss at his boldness and plunge an attack before he even had the chance to speak again.
Skillfully, Na'vieh started to strike him repeatedly and even resumely was able to bring him down to the ground where she could have a good look of his old blue face. She scoffed upon this and got even more angrier as he plainly let himself get pounced and strangled. He wasn't fighting back.
"Rahh! Fight back, you son a—!"
The next thing Jake knew was he was fighting a girl two times younger and smaller than him. He could feel her fury as she sees his appearance, especially his alien hand which made her scream bloody murder. The sight of it just felt too wrong.
Continuous attacks were plunged at him, he barely even dodged her skillful way of handling a two headed spear. He was mesmerized but at the same time was scared of the other things she might do.
She had the drive to kill and it showed in her empty murder eyes while she fought him, and she was basically begging him to use the gun he had been refused to use now that it had given away his relation with humans.
But Jake didn't give in and eventually threw off the gun which made Na'vieh back away, raising a brow as she wonders if he truly was enemy or that he was just onto something.
"Rahh!" She hissed, bearing her sharp canine.
She had her spear pointed at his chest, ready to cut through his flesh but the moment their eyes met, Na'vieh questioned her decisions and was torn into shreds as she sees the wounds she had inflicted on this man.
"Mawey... I mean... No harm..." The man had his arms in the air, breathing heavily and was in the verge if fainting from being roughly manhandled. Plus he had narrowly missed a strike, but his stomach bled from a cut that wasn't deep but was enough to worsen his state.
"I am na'vi, trust me." He whispers, keeping his posture and looking straight at Na'vieh's eyes. She narrowed her eyes at him, circling him like a predator. This act made her lower her weapon and tilt her head, before she asked. "What are you called?"
"The name's Jake Sully." Na'vieh's heart dropped and silence came between them, Jake was still low on guard and eventually sat down the earthy soil, heavily breathing as he wiped his bleeding nose. But the girl wasn't fazed, she kept her eyes on him, smelling his scent from afar and looking at his every feature.
"You are? Tseyk Soli? Toruk Macto?" Na'vieh asked gently, shocking the older guy. Her accent was different from his, but he understood just how relative she is.
"Yes, yes! And I am not enemy." As Jake nodded his head at her in agreement, she had a sad look on her face. The sound of the vast night wind was what occupied her mind, she fell in a trance and thought about what she had just done. Na'vieh lowered her defense and looked at the ground with furrowed eyebrows and pursed lips.
This is a mistake, why would Toruk Macto seek ukturu? This is... Nonsense. Na'vieh had a lot to process in her mind. She looked defiantly and narrowed her eyes, waiting for a subtle movement that show signs that this was nothing but a mere lie. But the call never did came and she was left with him.
"How long have you been here, Tseyk Suli? Why did you leave your clan? You are forest person, you do not come to the ocean." She asked, but surprisingly, he took this as a sign that she had forgotten the motive she had in mind.
"My family and I left for a reason."
As Jake explained right away to avoid any more problems, Na'vieh just looked at him with an unhappy face. She didn't even listen properly but he could sense his desperation, if it weren't for her head fogged up with the guilt of attacking an innocent person.
The moment Na'vieh was about to crouch down to pick up her spear, she felt her ear twitch as she felt a sudden movement. She thought at first that it was merely some Autrapede (pandoran animal), but it wasn't.
Until Na'vieh met the eyes of another, someone with deep amber eyes. She hissed and made Jake face her back, as though she was defending him.
Both Jake and her were alerted by a sudden presence and both was quick to do something. But unlike Jake who had a protective defense, Na'vieh was in for the kill as she sees another similar to the man he just fought, pointing an arrow at her. "Enemy!"
She didn't need anyone to tell her that this was Toruk Macto's son.
"Neteyam, do not shoot! Neteyam— NO!" Jake wasn't quick enough to stop the boy and Na'vieh was forced to see herself get impaled by an arrow, cutting the flesh of the lower left of her abdomen. The feeling of being thrown back slightly because of the strong impact made her numb, she thought she deserved it.
Na'vieh didn't show signs of struggle and took a deep breath before she looked back at the eyes of the boy, Neteyam. She looked at him to taunt him, and it worked. The boy stood frozen, eyes wide opens as he watched his dad rush over towards her.
She fell to the ground and laid flat on her back, Jake putting pressure on her wound as he tells her to calm down. But she was already calm, and displayed no sign of discomfort. She heaved, as if controlling the flow of her breathes.
"Ma Eywa." Na'vieh mumbled, breathing heavily and seemed like she didn't even bother looking up herself and her state.
"Sir...?" Neteyam called out to his father, dropping his bow to the ground while recalling what he just did. Shaking, he was afraid to get an answer from him, but he was eager to know. "Did— Did I kill her?"
Na'vieh heard what the guilt strikken boy said and grimaced. As Jake decided to pick her up, she had the chance to once again meet those amber eyes. She hissed at him, but very hoarsely.
"Of course not," Na'vieh answered his question, her eyes closing slowly as she reached out her hand. Neteyam could see her lack of ignominy, awestrucked. She placed a finger on his forehead and harshly pushed his head.
"You're gonna have to put more than that to kill me."
