First of the main three from my book series in progress is Desislava. I've thought about her characterization the most of all I think, & she started this all.

*In relation to the story, there is a god of invention who this cousin worships. More on the gods later. Timeline wise, this is not modern but also not that far in the past. Idk how to describe it.

Additionally, I'm going to work on a conlang when time is available so her Indigeneity is inspired by some of my experiences and beliefs but she is not intentionally of my tribe due to the fictional elements of the story.

Hi all! A happy belated holidays to all who celebrate, a paycheck full of holiday pay/OT for those who worked, and a warm hug and cookies for those who don't like/don't want to acknowledge the holidays. (Funny enough, I fall into all 3 categories, haha.) Next month is the 2-year anniversary of Towards the Dawn, so instead of FF, I'll be releasing another chapter of this fic: the Battle for the Undercity!
