Shades of Gray
Premise: Only one woman can turn Ethan’s world upside down, and yet another who can ground him.
Book: Open Heart Pairing: Ethan Ramsey x F!MC (Cassie Valentine) Rating/Category: Teen. Angst. Words: 1,450
A/N: This is a follow-up to Inconvenient Truths and is set during 2.15. Submission to @julychallenge prompt "emotional"
Tumblr media
His heart unwittingly carried him to the fifth floor, and the woman he wanted to see as much as his head cautioned him avoidance was the better solution.
Ethan Ramsey couldn’t remember a time when he’d been this indecisive. Privately, he referred to it as the Louise effect. His emotions had been on a rollercoaster since his father told him his mother had returned and wanted to see him.
Depending on the time of day, his moods swung from surly to downright depressed to pretending indifference. He wouldn’t blame his dad for not taking his calls or Cassie for telling him she wanted a break.
Somehow, without meaning to or realizing it, he’d managed to drag everyone he loved onto the tumultuous ride.
His feet faltered as he neared the hospital room. Through the window, he caught a glimpse of sunny blonde hair. He stood off to the side, close enough to look inside but far enough away so Louise couldn’t see him.
Ethan saw the pain etched on his mother’s face as she gripped her stomach and the compassion in Cassie’s eyes as she adjusted the drug protocol and noted the change on the patient chart.
He wondered what she thought of the situation and his mother. He knew he had Cassie’s support; he always had that, even when he behaved like an ass.
His eyes were cool as they scrutinized the scene. A lifetime of drugs had aged Louise, giving her a hardened look, especially around the eyes.
His eyes, he realized. While the rest of his features resembled Alan, the shape of his eyes and the light blue color came from his mother.
What else had he inherited from her?
Lost in thought, he didn’t notice Cassie leave the room or stop beside him until she nudged his elbow.
“I didn’t expect to see you here,” she said cautiously. “It was good of you to admit her.”
“Good has nothing to do with it. She’s a patient. We’re doctors.” He couldn’t help the detached tone accompanying his words. “She’s entitled to three days of detox like everybody else.”
He must have sounded harsh, for Cassie’s eyes widened in surprise.
“And then what?” she asked.
Ethan knew she was frustrated by his evasiveness. Aside from their late-night conversation at Dagger Mountain, they hadn’t discussed this topic. Tip-toed around it? Yes. But sat down and talked like adults? No.
Cassie had tried; his father had, too. But he’d shut them both out, not ready to dissect the complicated mess of emotions and thoughts that crowded his brain.
Ethan straightened his coat, locked his hands behind his back and stared intently into the hospital room. “Since we got back from the resort, I’ve been looking for an addiction clinic to send her to that isn’t a scam.”
Unable to bear it any longer, Ethan looked away from the room in time to catch the resolve on Cassie’s face as she took a deep breath.
“She really wants to spend some time with you, Ethan,” she said softly. “It might do you both some good to just sit and talk a little.”
The latent anger inside him flared without warning. “I'm already doing more for her than she ever did for me. If it's not enough for her, tough.”
And waned just as quickly, replaced by uncertainty and guilt. “I don't know what I’m doing here,” he sighed deeply. “I’ve gotten her the help she needs. The rest should be up to her.”
Ethan wasn’t sure who he was trying to convince. He felt his eyes glisten and turned away before Cassie could see the tears spilling past his cheeks. He’d spent too many years crying over what couldn’t be, but it never seemed enough.
“She’s suffering,” Cassie said, reaching for his hand. “It's normal to want to check on her.”
“She deserves to,” Ethan snapped, unable to control the anger that boiled over, ready to burn everyone and everything in its path. “After what she did to me? To my father? She’s spent twenty-five years hurting the people who cared about her most.”
Why did Cassie still not understand what Louise’s abandonment, her betrayal of their family, had done to them?
“That may all be true,” Cassie inclined her head toward the window, “but look at her. She's not faking this.”
Ethan gritted his teeth at the tone in Cassie’s voice. It was the same one she used when dealing with a difficult patient—infinite patience overlaid with sympathy.
He sighed, swallowing down a nasty retort, and walked away from the window. Cassie followed, but then he’d expected her too. Her stubbornness was just one of the qualities that made her a good doctor, even if it could be annoying on a personal level.
“I keep catching myself thinking that she deserves to feel worse than this for what she did to us,” he said, halting, trying to find the right words to explain the conflict brewing inside him. “But I can't let myself think like that. Nobody here deserves worse. Nobody deserves better. That’s not how life works.”
He waited for Cassie to respond, but she remained silent as they walked down the busy hallway. Likely keeping her distance in case he bit her head off again, he thought morosely. He’d done it enough times since Louise’s reappearance that she could probably read the signs.
Just how infinite was her patience? He was sick of his attitude and his damn mood, so he could only imagine how others felt being around him.
They were nearing the elevator bank, out of sight of the nurses’ station, and Ethan couldn’t take the silent treatment anymore. He grabbed her wrist and hauled her into an empty patient room, slamming the door shut with the back of his foot.
Incensed, she pushed his arms away. “If you plan to shout at me again, I don’t have the time. Nor am I in the mood to be your punching bag. I know your automatic reaction is to shut me out when things hit too close to home. But the world isn’t black or white, Ethan. It’s shades of gray. Deal with it!”
Ethan could always tell when she was furious from how her entire body vibrated, hands clenched in tight fists, ready to slug. If violence weren’t anathema to her, she probably would’ve taken a swing at him already.
“I’m not gonna shout at you,” he barked, brows snapping in annoyance.
“You already are, Ethan,” Cassie huffed in exasperation, hands on her hips.
Of course, he was. Only two women in his life could make him lose control like this.
Ethan muttered, “Christ” under his breath and pinched the bridge of his nose. He took deep breaths, reining in his temper and frustration.
“I’m sorry,” he said, crossing the floor to take her hands and hold her close. “Louise brings out the worst in me.”
“I know!”
He grinned at the exaggerated eye-roll that accompanied the quip.
“I don’t know if I’ll ever act reasonably when it comes to her, but I shouldn’t take it out on you.” He placed two fingers on her chin and tilted her face up. “Forgive me?”
“Yes, but I need something from you first.”
He quirked one brow in question, curious about the mischievous glint in her green eyes despite the serious tone.
“You owe an apology kiss,” she smiled, running her hands up his chest to rest them on his shoulders.
Ethan laughed softly, the tension between them easing with the sound. “An apology kiss, huh? I think I can manage that.”
His fingers trailed from her chin to cup her cheek, his thumb brushing lightly over her skin. Their eyes locked, and the world around them seemed to fade. It was just the two of them standing there, inches apart.
He leaned in slowly, savoring the moment, his breath mingling with hers. Hers hitched in anticipation.
When his lips finally met hers, it was tender and sincere, an unspoken promise lingering in the warmth of the kiss. Her hands tightened on his shoulders, drawing him closer as she melted into the embrace.
As they parted, Ethan rested his forehead against hers, a soft chuckle escaping his lips.
“Well? What do you say?” he murmured, his voice filled with affection.
Cassie nodded, her eyes shining with the remnants of her playful challenge and a deeper, more profound emotion.
“It’s a good start,” she whispered back, brushing a strand of hair from his face. “But don’t think you’re off the hook just yet.”
Ethan grinned, feeling lighter than he had all day. He captured her hand and pressed a kiss to her palm. “I wouldn’t dream of it.”

tw: mention of family trauma, ed
⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ entry one
i knew that coming back home would be difficult for me. this is of course the birth of a lot of my traumas, especially my ed. some context of my family (a brief overview) :
my mother taught me very young how to be critical of myself. i learned how to calorie count when i was around age 8/9 with her. she would teach me how to stand in the mirror and point out everything negative about myself. what i could fix, how it was in my power to reach my potential. she never told me that perfection was a goal that cannot be achieved.
my father was the first man who told me i was unloveable. he made sure i knew that i was not as pretty as the other girls and that i needed to make up for it in other ways, being smart, achieving goals, running. i would wake up every morning and run my three miles starting at age 12. he would time me each week to see if i was improving. i learned to not eat around others and if i did, i would be brutally interrogated as to why i thought it okay to have a snack or to eat when i felt i was hungry.
my step mother comes up in the dictionary when you search up "almond mom". she ended up going back to school to become a natural doctor with supplements and sorts. i was in middle school (ages 11-14) when she would start using me a guinea pig for certain "detoxes". i learned to fast up to 72 hours on just water and carrots by the time i was 12/13. i remember always having to start these new fasts near the beginning of the year because i would always be fasting and or detoxing when it was valentine's day. i would be so sad that i could never have any of the valentine's day treats i would receive.
my brother is the golden child. i do not blame my brother for anything of course and never have held any resentment towards him for the family dynamics my parents adopted. it kills me as we have gotten older and i see how he has developed an ed as well. his in the manifestation of gym culture. he calorie counts as i do and taught me all that i know of understanding my macros. i love him so dearly and i have cried for him at night when he first told me how he hated himself as a child and how bdd has dominated his mentality.
my sister is also seen as golden in their eyes. she developed an ed the same as i did growing up and has struggled with recovery the past few years. i dont have much to say on her as she is in a similar boat as me but its a little more complex. i might expand more on that later.
with that context its easier to understand my hesitations and fears of coming back home. i used to fear coming back home when i had gained more weight a few years back, as i knew ridicule would come and hurtful watchful eyes would judge me. however now that i have relapsed (something my family is aware of) i fear it even more. the encouragement i get from them (them does not include my brother or my sister in anyway only a reference to my parents) as they see me slowly kill myself.

Best Ayurvedic Detox Therapies for Kidney Health in Zirakpur
There has been a growing emphasis on natural and holistic ways to maintain kidney health in recent years. The kidneys need special care and attention as it is one of the essential organs responsible for filtering waste and maintaining overall balance in the body. Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine, offers several effective detox therapies and remedies for improving kidney health. If you're living in Zirakpur and looking for detox therapies for kidney health in Zirakpur, this article will guide you through some of the best Ayurvedic treatments available in the region.
The Importance of Kidney Health
Before diving into specific therapies, it's important to understand why kidney health is crucial. Kidneys not only filter waste from the blood but also help maintain electrolyte balance, regulate blood pressure, and ensure the production of red blood cells. Over time, our kidneys can get overworked due to unhealthy lifestyle choices, poor diets, dehydration, and exposure to toxins. This is where natural ways to support kidney health come into play, with Ayurveda offering a time-tested solution.
How Ayurveda Supports Kidney Health
Ayurveda believes that imbalances in the body's doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) lead to various diseases, including kidney-related issues. The Ayurvedic approach emphasises a holistic treatment plan involving diet, lifestyle changes, herbal remedies, and detox therapies. These treatments aim to cleanse the kidneys, balance doshas, and restore optimal kidney function.
In Zirakpur, several specialised clinics offer the best ayurvedic kidney care in Zirakpur, focusing on treating kidney problems naturally. Whether you're suffering from kidney stones, infections, or general kidney weakness, Ayurvedic therapies can provide relief and help restore kidney health.

This therapy involves five different cleansing techniques to remove toxins (Ama) from the body. For kidneys, Panchakarma primarily focuses on flushing out waste, rejuvenating the tissues, and balancing the doshas.

The therapy includes procedures like Virechana (purgation therapy), which helps eliminate toxins through the intestines, supporting kidney detox.
Basti (Medicated Enema)
Basti is another critical part of Ayurvedic detox therapy. This treatment involves administering herbal concoctions through the rectum to cleanse the colon and, in turn, benefit the kidneys. The colon and kidneys are intricately connected in Ayurveda, and cleansing one helps improve the function of the other.
ayurvedic kidney doctors in Zirakpur recommend Basti as part of a kidney health regime because it balances the Vata dosha, which is often linked to kidney issues. The herbs used in Basti are tailored according to the patient’s body type and specific kidney health needs, making it an effective detox solution.
Raktamokshana (Bloodletting Therapy)
In cases where kidney health is impacted by high levels of toxins or certain skin conditions related to the kidneys, ayurvedic kidney care clinics near me in Zirakpur suggest Raktamokshana. This therapy involves the careful removal of a small quantity of blood to help detoxify the body. It purifies the blood, improving kidney function and overall circulation.
While this treatment might seem intense, it is performed by trained Kidney health specialists in Zirakpur under strict hygienic conditions, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
Herbal Remedies and Medicines
Ayurvedic herbal remedies play a key role in maintaining kidney health. Some of the most commonly recommended herbs for detoxifying the kidneys include Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris), Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa), Varuna (Crataeva nurvala), and Palasha (Butea monosperma). These herbs support the kidneys by promoting urine flow, reducing inflammation, and preventing stone formation.
The effective ayurvedic remedies for kidney health are not only safe but also free from harmful chemicals. These herbal formulations are prescribed by ayurvedic kidney doctors in Zirakpur who ensure that the medicines align with your body’s specific needs.
Dietary Recommendations
Along with detox therapies, Ayurveda strongly emphasises the role of diet in kidney health. Patients undergoing treatment for kidney health are advised to consume foods that balance their doshas and are easy on the kidneys. This includes hydrating foods, fruits like pomegranate, and herbal teas like coriander water, which act as natural diuretics.
How Ayurveda supports kidney health in Zirakpur is evident through its holistic approach, focusing not just on medical treatments but also on lifestyle and dietary modifications.

Redemption For All - 5
Tumblr media
(Warnings: a warning in itself is: Mary (I hate her and I can’t help it and I’m not sorry), some blood and mentions of shooting)
Notes: I do NOT speak spanish but I think it is a very beautiful language and sadly all I can say in spanish is ‘I can’t speak spanish’, so I used google translate, sorry. Some words are in Italic, which is the translated words, and others are just straight up spanish.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hey, Arthur, are you going into town?” Leah asked as she jogged over, Arthur turning around with a nod “sure, sort of.”
“‘Sort of’?” she asked, tilting her head and Arthur thought about how pretty she looked… a little confused look on her face, lips parted a little in the prettiest of ways… somehow she reminded him of the woman he was going to see right now, while at the same time making him forget her completely “yeah, I’m, uh… going to visit an old friend that’s stayin’ near Valentine” he admitted and Leah nodded “oh, okay, well if you have time, could you maybe find something for me? Either garlic, onions, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, beetroot, or lemon.”
“That’s a very specific list, what’s it for?”
“Swanson… they detoxify and help eliminate any buildup that addictions cause… I’m thinking maybe, in the long run, it could help him a little?... He’s addicted to a few things and maybe it could help?... I-I don’t think he’s ready for detox yet but maybe this could help a little” she admitted with a concerned frown and Arthur couldn’t help but think about how thoughtful she was. “You’re a good woman, Leah” he stated softly and she blushed “well, you’d know about being a good person, wouldn’t you?” she asked in an almost teasing way as she backed up “hope you have a good time with your friend.”
Friend? What friend? Arthur frowned, trying to figure out what she meant when it suddenly hit him. Right. He was going to see her… right. How could he forget that?
-----------------------------------------------------------
Being met with a gun when the door opened wasn’t exactly what he expected when he knocked on the door but he lifted his hands, clearing his throat lightly “oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to disturb you, ma’am… is erm… is Mrs. Linton in?” Arthur asked politely, the woman eyeing him up and down “maybe. I’ll go check” she stated and closed the door, Arthur turning around, taking off his hat, fiddling nervously with it as he heard the woman’s muffled calls to Mrs. Linton that she had a caller. Soon the door opened and she appeared, just as pretty as he remembered her, which only hurt him more when he saw her. “Hello, Arthur” she breathed out, glancing behind her into the house before walking outside, closing the door after her. “Mary,” Arthur greeted stiffly “I, erm…”
“I heard you and your friends was around, I…”
“Okay… where’s what’s his name?”
“Died…”
“Well, I’m sorry to hear that.”
“Yeah, me too… Happened a while ago… Pneumonia…”
“Bad business… I know a doctor who could’ve probably fixed him right up” Arthur admitted with a small frown, beginning to fiddle nervously with the rim of his hat again. “So, uh…. y-y-you’ve been…” Arthur nervously cleared his throat “made a widow and came lookin’ for me, is that it?”
“No, ain’t like that, Arthur.”
“Oh, okay…”
“I… My family-... I need your help-”
“You mean the family that always looked down on me? You want me to help them?”
“It’s my little brother, Jamie” she revealed desperately, Arthur scoffing as he turned around, leaning on the railing on the porch “well, I always liked Jamie… at least compared to the rest of them” Arthur admitted quietly, Mary moving to stand next to him “he’s broken daddy’s heart…”
“Daddy had a heart?”
“Don’t make me beg you, Arthur-”
“My money, my life, me… I wasn’t good enough…”
“I’m sorry. We need your help real bad. Little Jamie’s joined the-... the Chelonians, that strange religious order-”
“Good for him.”
“They’re quite mad, Arthur! They’ll kill him. You’re the only person he’d listen to-”
“So I’m too rough to marry into your family but it’s okay to ask me to save your family?”
“I’m sorry-”
“You keep sayin’ that, Mary, but I don’t think you are. At least not completely. See, I think you think that you can just write one letter and I’ll come running and do whatever you want-”
“Then why are you here, Arthur?”
“Because I’m a damned idiot and a fool when it comes to you, Mary…” Arthur admitted with a sigh before turning to her, shaking his head. “I’m too rough and too poor to be in your family but the second you need someone rough, you call on me. What do I get out of this? Hm? I know damn well the second that I give you what you want, you’ll disappear again. Until you need somethin’ else from me” Arthur explained stiffly, shaking his head at himself “at least Leah don’t want me to change who I am” he muttered, Mary frowning at him with confusion and… it almost seemed like jealousy. “Leah? Who’s Leah?”
“Why do you care who she is?”
“I-I don’t, just-...”
“Her name’s Leah Riverra, she’s a doctor from Chicago and she’s been with us almost half a year now” Arthur admitted sharply before sighing “she don’t mind who I am, she don’t care… the only thing she minds is the smokin’” he muttered with a scoff, shaking his head, a small smile on his lips “I’m done runnin’ your errands…”
“Because of this-... ‘Leah’??”
“Actually, I know she’d want me to help you, help Jamie” Arthur admitted, nodding to himself as he turned to face Mary “see, she’s good like that. Kind. And she ain’t got no plans on runnin’ off and getting married to someone else” Arthur stated harshly, shaking his head at Mary, watching her, the desperation in her eyes before he sighed heavily, shaking his head “I’ll help, but not for you, or for Jamie. I’ll help ‘cause it’s what Leah would want me to do, she’d say it’d be the ‘right thing’ to do but I’m not so sure, Mary… I’ll help you and Jamie, but not for your sake” Arthur made it clear, barely glancing at Mary before leaving, saddling up on his horse to ride off, Mary watching with a hint of… something… a darkness growing in her chest and she caught herself feeling… jealous…
----------------------------------------------------------------
Leah hurried out of the tent at the sound of her name being shouted, her eyes widening when she saw Strauss bleeding, being carried into camp “the table!” she shouted, walking over to Miss Grimshaw “my bag in my tent-”
“Got it” she nodded and hurried off, Leah turning to Reverend Swanson “be ready with the morphine” she said sternly, the Reverend stumbling away to find the opiate. Strauss was placed on the table and Leah had already rolled up the sleeves of the blouse she had on, the barrels that served as chairs were pulled away from the round table, Strauss’ right leg bleeding violently. Leah grabbed a hunting knife that was reached to her by someone she didn’t see, cutting the pant leg in two from above the wound, the others ripping it the rest of the way down to expose the leg, just as Miss Grimshaw arrived with the bag. “Inside the bag, there’s thin gloves” she instructed, Miss Grimshaw opening the bag as she had seen Leah do, silently shocked by how easy it actually was, before searching through the bag, finding a sort of paper box of some kind with blue glove-like things in it. “Pull out a pair” she ordered, Miss Grimshaw doing as told and just before trying to hand them to her, Leah shook her head “blow into them and inflate them briefly. Mr. Pearson, give me that cloth. Place it right there- no, there- yes. Press down as hard as you can. Girls, hold down Herr Strauss” she snapped, the girls hurriedly doing as told and Leah stepped back, putting on the rubber gloves one by one quickly, looking through her bag, retracting her hand with some sort of… squishy long flask, made of what appeared to be the same as the strange gloves she had on. Leah squirted the iodine onto the wound and the area around it before grabbing some gauze wipes, wiping the wound clean. “Water. Clean water” she called and soon she could see the wound much better as it was poured out over the bloody leg. “It’s not an arterial bleed, that’s good news, Herr Strauss” she admitted with relief. “Grab his foot, lift his leg up, I need to see if there’s an exit wound. Swanson!! Where the damn morphine?!”
“Here, doc, it’s here!”
“Administer a dose enough to dull the pain but not knock him out” she ordered, Swanson nodding as he began to do as told, though Strauss’ wiggling didn’t help as he blabbered and moaned, whimpering and wiggling weakly as he moaned and pitied himself annoyingly “actually, up the dose, knock him out if you have to” she stated coldly, Swanson hesitating before nodding, doing as told and soon Strauss became limp and relaxed, Leah sighing softly, examining his leg “there’s-... shit” she muttered, leaning back a little before grabbing the belt around her waist, unbuckling it and buckling it around Strauss’ leg above the wound, tightening it to at least slow some of the bleeding, though she knew it was a shit tourniquet and in all honesty it didn’t do anything but slow the blood from 100% to 98%. “Will that work?”
“No, it’s a horrible attempt at a tourniquet but unless any of you are universal donors I’d rather do a piss-poor attempt at a tourniquet than have him bleed out or wait for the right materials for a better tourniquet” she admitted, cringing before sighing “alright, there’s only three holes, what does that mean?” she asked loudly before cringing “sorry, sorry, I uh, don’t know where that came from” she muttered with a frown, looking into her bag “miss Grimshaw, listen closely, okay? In my bag there’s a sort of bag with the same kind of-... ‘lock’ as this bag, it’s black. It’s like it’s rolled up” she instructed before looking back at the wound, wincing at the blood that poured out, turning to look at Abigail “Abigail, I need you to hold the gauze.”
“The what?”
“The-... tissue like thing! Keep the wound as clean and clear as possible, I don’t have suction so you’ll have to work” she stated softly, Abigail nodding, walking over on her other side, picking up the ‘tissue like thing’ and dapping it at the wound that kept bleeding. Miss Grimshaw found the round bag and Leah nodded “okay, open it like you opened my bag. Inside you’ll see some sort of tongs. They’ll look like tongs or scissors except the blade is replaced by a blunted grip. They’re called ‘Forceps’- yes, those ones! Then find a small almost rectangular bag and open it, inside there’ll be a lot of vials held in place with elastic bands as well as a few different kinds of needles. Take the second bottle in the first row, take the needle to the very left- yes, that one! Exactly!” Leah stated with a grin, nodding “pour some alcohol on them, then hand me them with the handles towards me but first, give me the vial and needle” she ordered, the entire thing being done with swift movements, the vial and needle was taken, Leah shook the vial quickly before sticking the syringe in, holding the vial upside down as she took the proper dosage, gave the vial back to Miss Grimshaw and leaned back over Strauss. She carefully injected the area around the wound, spreading out whatever was in the vial so it surrounded the entire wound before handing the empty syringe back to Miss Grimshaw “put the vial back in place, the needle will need to be carefully washed, fill a cup with sterile water and use it to clean the syringe, like you’re taking a dosage, suck up the water, shoot it back out into the grass and repeat until the cup is almost empty, that should be enough” she ordered softly, glancing at the needle holders, they were swiftly presented to her and Leah took them, Leah wincing as she tried to get a better look at the wound, Miss Grimshaw handing the needle to Tilly who left to clean it as told. “What’re ya lookin’ for?”
“The rest of the bullet.”
“It ain’t gotten out??” Bill asked in shock, Leah sighed softly “it has, but there’s three holes. If there’s an uneven amount holes then some of the bullet is still in there, not everything went all the way through” she admitted, nodding Abigail closer and she understood, immediately pressing the gauze into the wound, hesitating at first until Leah sighed “he can’t feel it, it’s not his skin that’s bleeding, it’s inside, I need the blood gone” she stated harshly, Abigail nodding and doing as told, Leah nodding with a grin “perfect” she praised before continuing to look, grinning even more as she moved the forceps, the sound of clicking like a gear could be heard and she pulled out a tiny metal fragment, smirking as she let out a light sigh of relief “well, hello to you too” she muttered, nodding Dutch over and once he arrived, she grabbed his hand and lifted it up, placing the piece of bullet in his hand “there you go” she stated with amusement at his partial shock. “What? You’re the reason he got shot, might as well keep a little keeps-sake, you know, for sentimental reasons” she joked darkly without thinking, looking back at Miss Grimshaw “those two things on the left at the very top are needle holders. Next you’ll open that little compartment, inside are several kinds of needles though they’ll look like tiny hooks to you. I need the compound curved needle, the one with a straight point with a curved distal section. There’s a roll of special thread, it’s a surgical thread. Pour alcohol over the needle holders and then use it to pick up the compound curved needle” Leah instructed, having used the Kelly Forceps for something in the wound as they were just sort of… sticking out of it…
“Yes, like that. You’d be one hell of a doctor or nurse, Miss Grimshaw” Leah praised, taking the needle holder once it had the correct needle, which had also gotten a splash of alcohol. “Unwind the thread and give me the tip, I’ll thread the needle myself. She instructed, Miss Grimshaw doing as told, watching as Leah seemed to effortlessly thread and secure the thread, moving towards the wound that Abigail had kept as clean as she could. Leah used her free hand to take out the forceps, grabbing the other needle holder before beginning to sew, her brows furrowed and scrunched together in the utmost concentration, her breath even as she took barely a second to stitch the wound back together, reaching past Miss Grimshaw for the hunting knife she had used to cut Strauss’ pant leg, carefully cutting the thread. She looked at Abigail with a smirk, nudging her shoulder with her elbow before turning to Miss Grimshaw “the bandage and some gauze, please” she asked, placing the gauze over the wound before wrapping it in bandage, Miss Grimshaw taking over the bandaging, Abigail volunteering to packing away the instruments and supplies that hadn’t been used, carrying it to Leah’s tent as Leah pulled off the blood covered gloves, her hands even and steady as she stretched them out in front of her, sighing softly. “Y-You alright, miss?” a voice asked and she turned to look at Kieran, the man who was tied to the tree not too long ago, though now he appeared to be somewhat part of the little gang. “Yeah, just-... adrenaline” she admitted, Kieran nodding “ya hands ain’t shaking” he noted and she chuckled lightly “it’d be horrible if they did and I had to poke around in some wound” she admitted teasingly, Kieran’s cheeks turning bright red “r-right! O-Of course! I didn’t-... I only meant-”
“It’s okay. Would you mind helping me wash the instruments?”
“The what?”
“What I used” she explained, Kieran almost lighting up, nodding eagerly “yes, m-ma’am!” Leah chuckled at his enthusiasm, walking over to the instruments with him “first I suppose we do it with water like normal, then alcohol and then clean rags” she instructed, taking the needle holders and needle while Kieran took the forceps, walking over to the wash basin with her. She smiled at Kieran before carefully washing the tiny needle, holding onto it with one of the needle holders, Kieran taking the other, carefully washing the blood from the steel. “I ain’t never seen things like this” he admitted, Leah smiling “they’re stainless steel. It means that they won’t rust” she revealed softly, carefully placing the tiny needle on the wooden table before washing the needle holder as Kieran went on to wash the forceps. “I-If I may ask, miss- I mean doctor-”
“You can call me ‘Miss’ if that’s what you’re more comfortable with” she whispered with a smirk, Kieran blushing even more but he smiled “where did you learn all of this?”
“At medical school. Things are very different where I’m from, women are treated just like men, we can vote, we can own things, do our own things, become doctors. I wanted to become a doctor when I was a kid, and I guess it stuck. There’s schools that teach everything about medicine and the body and medicinal procedures. It takes about four years, then you work at a learning hospital to gain experience outside of books and such, eventually you learn to do things, the more you learn, the more you’re allowed to do until you get to become a doctor. I uh… I’m not out of my residency yet, though” she admitted, Kieran frowning “what does that mean, m-miss?...”
“It means that I am technically a doctor, but not-... I’m not really employed by any hospital as a ‘real’ doctor.”
“Oh… ‘cause you’re a woman?” he asked innocently with a frown and Leah hesitated before trying to hold back a smile. Jesus Christ, this guy was like a puppy. “Uhm, no… no, women are treated like men where I’m from. I just haven’t been there long enough, but I’m close, I’m really close” she explained with a small grin, beginning to clean the instruments with alcohol soaked rags and then using a clean cloth to clean each, Kieran following her to her tent with the instruments. Leah got out her bag and Kieran helped her pack them away in the right place. “Thanks for the assistance” she said with a smile, Kieran nodding before walking off with a smile, a sigh leaving Leah as she began to zip up her bag to put it away when Dutch hesitantly entered the tent. “I uh… hope I’m not disturbing, doc?”
“Not at all, what can I do for you?”
“What you said before…”
“Oh… I didn’t actually mean it. It was cruel and stupid and I didn’t mean anything by it! I-It was a horrible joke and I didn’t think-”
“No, you were right… I uh, sent Charles and Arthur out to find us a new spot to camp, Micah suggested a place and they’re checking it out now” he spoke, Leah studying him before sighing “Mr. Van Der Linde? Where I’m from is-... different, to say the least. A lot more tame compared to here, certainly… and I don’t like all the-... criminal activity… but you’re still a good man. You care about these people, and about people in general, I think… that’s what makes someone good in my book, they care about people and they act on that love. When I said that Strauss getting shot was your fault, it was a stupid comment that I didn’t think through at the time, and I’m sorry” Leah stated sincerely, Dutch studying her before nodding, looking down “I uh… I was also wonderin’ if I could ask a favor of you, doc…”
“Anything.”
“Hosea, the mountains haven’t been good for his health…”
“I understand” Leah said with a smile, Dutch nodding with a sincere look on his face “thank you, doc” he left the tent and Leah sighed softly, walking outside with her stethoscope around her neck, approaching Hosea as he sat by the campfire, Hosea glancing at the stethoscope before scoffing lightly “Arthur?”
“Nope, Dutch” Leah corrected, sitting down on the log beside him as he coughed a little “should’ve figured” Hosea muttered with amusement, Leah smiling “mind if I take a listen? You know, tell you if you’re a walking corpse or not?” she joked, Hosea chuckling “don’t need to check me out to know that” he joked back, Leah rolling her eyes with a smirk “shrug off the coat, old man, let me listen” she insisted softly, standing up as Hosea did as told, accepting her offer to help and take a look at him. After a while, Leah moved back around him to sit down on the log next to him as he put on his coat again “well? How long do I have, doc?”
“Difficult to say, the average lifespan with no complications? I’d say quite a lot of years if you take care of yourself, which you seem to be. But if you’re talking about this life?... Considerably less. But it won’t be the coughing that kills you” she admitted with an apologetic look, aware that perhaps her comment about his way of life wasn’t… well placed. But he just chuckled and nodded, coughing a little before smiling at her “good to know, doc. Besides, if anything happens, we’ve got ourselves the best doctor in all of America!” Hosea stated proudly and Leah laughed briefly “careful, I might start to get used to the praise” she teased, Hosea chuckling “wouldn’t that be horrible?” he joked, looking back into the fire with Leah, a smile on her lips as she felt a sense of belonging…
Understanding Detoxification
To find a detox near meit's important to consider your specific needs and preferences, such as the type of detox (e.g., alcohol, drug, holistic), the level of medical support required, and any other special considerations like location or amenities. Here's a general guide on how to find a detox center:
1. Understanding Detoxification
Detoxification, commonly known as detox, is the process of removing toxic substances from the body. It is a crucial step in the treatment of substance abuse and addiction. Detox can involve medical supervision, medication-assisted treatment, and supportive care to manage withdrawal symptoms and ensure safety.
2. Types of Detox Programs
Inpatient Detox: Patients stay at a facility where they receive 24/7 medical supervision and support. This is often recommended for those with severe addictions or those at risk of serious withdrawal symptoms.
Outpatient Detox: Patients visit the facility during the day but live at home. This option may be suitable for those with less severe addictions or strong social support systems.
Holistic Detox: This approach focuses on natural and alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, nutrition therapy, and mindfulness practices, in addition to conventional medical treatments.
3. Finding a Detox Center
Online Searches: Use search engines and online directories to find detox centers in your area. Keywords like "detox center near me" or "substance abuse treatment near me" can be helpful.
Consult Healthcare Providers: Your doctor or healthcare provider can recommend reputable detox facilities based on your medical history and specific needs.
Contact Local Health Departments or Substance Abuse Hotlines: They can provide information on available detox services and programs.
Insurance Providers: Check with your insurance provider for a list of covered facilities.
4. Evaluating Detox Centers
Accreditation and Licensing: Ensure the facility is accredited by reputable organizations and licensed by state or local health authorities.
Staff Qualifications: Look for centers with experienced medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, specialized in addiction treatment.
Treatment Approaches: Review the detox methods and therapies offered to see if they align with your preferences and medical needs.
Aftercare Support: A good detox program should offer or refer to aftercare services, such as counseling, support groups, or rehab programs.
5. Preparing for Detox
Medical Evaluation: Undergo a thorough medical assessment to determine the appropriate level of care and treatment plan.
Personal Arrangements: Make necessary arrangements for time off work, childcare, or pet care if needed.
Packing Essentials: If attending an inpatient program, pack comfortable clothing, personal hygiene items, and any prescribed medications.
Conclusion
Finding the right detox center is a crucial step toward recovery. By understanding the different types of programs and what to look for in a facility, you can make an informed decision that best supports your journey to sobriety.
Subject Title: Can You Become the Therapists for the Women Addicted to Me? They Are Addicted to the Alien, But He Can't Be There for Them.
Also Important reminder: "Don't forget to use burner phones to remain anonymous when using your phones."
Dear Ellen and Portia,
I need your help. Can you become the therapists for these women who have caught feelings for me? They are in love with an alien and they get sad when they can't be near him. There's a lot of frustration and anxiety in these women's lives. They are not allowed to approach me because of safety and security protocols, which makes them sad and heartbroken.
These women expect me to stay on this blog every day of my life, and I can't do that. I have work to do. I have so many movies to write, so many books to write. I can't spend all my days on this blog anymore.
It's like they refuse to accept my absence, and whenever I disappear for a few days, they experience anxiety and frustration. This is unhealthy for them, and they should seek counseling with you.
They have withdrawal symptoms. They are addicted to my daily blog posts and need to go to detox and rehab.
You will become their therapists, and I'm sure you will have a lot of fun studying their unique stories and helping them cope with my absence.
You are the perfect doctors, Ellen and Portia. I'm sure you will have the perfect answers for these famous women who have become addicted to my blog posts.
I have been writing on Twitter and my two Tumblr blogs for the past seven months. I never took a day off. I shared a lot of valuable information, and now I'm taking time off to work on my books and screenplays.
I'm not a snob. I'm not rejecting my readers, but it is what it is. I have work to do, and I need to focus.
Here is the list of addicted female celebrities:
Halle Berry
Penélope Cruz
Vera Farmiga
Salma Hayek
Gal Gadot
Beyoncé
Rihanna
Eva Mendes
Victoria Beckham
Rosario Dawson
Gina Torres
Zoe Saldana
Jennifer Lopez
Christina Santini
YesJulz
Tanaya Henry
Jessica "Simply Jess" Marquez
Vashtie
Tracey Edmonds
Oprah
Jessica Alba
Joy Bryant
Shakira
Sofía Vergara
Kim Kardashian
Deepika Padukone
Priyanka Chopra
Denise Richards
J.K. Rowling
Janet Jackson
The list is very long. These women need therapy.
I'm so sorry, but I need your support. Can you become their doctor?
I have to leave this blog. I can't be here and work simultaneously on my books and scripts. I have to choose one. Priority is my work.
Thank you, Ellen and Portia. You are the best Hollywood therapists ever.
I just want to help you understand that my blog is very secretive and has ties to AREA 51. These women need a safe space where they can unload all their anxiety, and that's where you come in. You will become their counselor and help them deal with all the information they have absorbed on my blog.
I know you never thought you would become an AREA 51 therapist, but there is always a first time for everything, right?
I'm sure you will do a great job. I have watched countless Ellen Show episodes, and that's what you basically did when you interviewed your celebrity guests. You spoke to them like a therapist. This is nothing new to you. You got this. You will do a wonderful job.
Okay, this chat was fun.
Love you, Ellen and Portia! Have fun. Big hugs for you.
Your alien friend, Angelo.
Ayurvedic Healing for Arthritis: Your Path to Pain Relief
Arthritis, the persistent inflammation of joints, can be a debilitating condition that affects millions worldwide. If you're among those seeking relief from the arthritis treatment in ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine offers a holistic and natural approach. Imagine a world where you can bid farewell to chronic pain and embrace a life of vitality – that's the promise of Ayurvedic healing for arthritis. In this comprehensive guide, we'll uncover the power of Ayurvedic remedies, explore the best Ayurvedic centre near you, and provide you with the tools to reclaim your well-being.
Tumblr media
Understanding Arthritis Through the Ayurvedic Lens
According to Ayurveda, arthritis is often linked to an imbalance of the three doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These energetic forces govern various bodily functions and when they are out of sync, it can lead to joint inflammation, pain and stiffness. Ayurveda aims to restore this delicate balance, addressing the root cause rather than merely suppressing symptoms.
The Ayurvedic Approach to Arthritis Management
Diet and Lifestyle Modifications
Ayurveda places great emphasis on a wholesome diet and lifestyle adjustments. By consuming anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric, ginger and certain seasonal fruits and vegetables, you can naturally reduce inflammation and nourish your joints. Simultaneously, practicing gentle exercises like yoga and incorporating stress-management techniques can significantly alleviate arthritis symptoms.
Herbal Remedies and Supplements
Ayurvedic practitioners may recommend a personalized blend of herbal remedies and supplements to address your specific needs. For instance, Shallaki (Boswellia serrata) and Guggulu (Commiphora mukul) are renowned for their anti-inflammatory properties, while Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) can bolster the body's natural defenses against arthritis.
Panchakarma: The Ultimate Detox
For more severe cases, Ayurvedic centers may suggest Panchakarma, a series of detoxification therapies designed to eliminate toxins (ama) from the body. This comprehensive cleansing process can involve therapies like Abhyanga (Ayurvedic massage), Shirodhara (gentle pouring of warm oils on the forehead) and Virechan (therapeutic purgation).
Finding the Right Ayurvedic Centre Near Me
Evaluating Expertise and Credentials
When searching for an "ayurvedic centre near me", it's crucial to assess the expertise and credentials of the practitioners. Look for centers staffed by experienced Ayurvedic doctors (BAMS or equivalent) and therapists trained in authentic Ayurvedic practices.
Personalized Treatment Plans
A reputable Ayurvedic center will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique constitution (Prakriti) and the specific nature of your arthritis. This holistic approach ensures that you receive the most effective and targeted care.
Complementing Ayurveda with Modern Medicine
While Ayurveda offers a natural and holistic approach, it can also complement modern medical treatments for arthritis. Many individuals find success by integrating Ayurvedic therapies with conventional pain management techniques, under the guidance of qualified professionals.
Conclusion
Arthritis need not be a life sentence of unrelenting pain and discomfort. Ayurvedic healing offers a holistic, natural pathway to relief through its multi-pronged approach of diet adjustments, herbal remedies, detoxification practices, and mindful lifestyle changes. By seeking expertise at reputable ayurvedic centres near you and committing to this ancient system of medicine, you can embark on a transformative journey towards reclaiming your vitality and bidding farewell to the unrelenting pain of arthritis. Improve Your Search of the Best Detoxification Centers Near Me
Detoxification or detox is a crucial first step in a patient's addiction treatment. Detoxification centers provide medical and psychiatric care for individuals who are addicted to drugs or alcohol. Finding a detoxification center that meets the unique needs and preferences of each patient can be overwhelming. There are many detoxification centers available, but not all are suitable for each individual. It is essential to find a detoxification center that provides a personalized treatment plan that suits your needs. This blog post offers practical tips on how to find the best detoxification centers near me. Conducting Research The first step in finding the best detoxification centers is conducting thorough research. Use the internet to search for detoxification centers in the local area. Read reviews and ratings from previous patients, access recovery forums, and discuss groups to get an idea of the best options around. Also, it is essential to note that the reputation of the detoxification centers near me, matters. Look for centers that have been around for a while, and have built an excellent reputation for providing safe and effective care. Professional Recommendations Consulting with a medical professional can be helpful in finding a suitable detoxification center. Medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and therapists, can recommend reputable centers that provide specialized detoxification services. Additionally, detoxification centers often have relationships with referral networks. Hence, they can refer you to clinicians who can recommend detox centers based on your unique needs. Accreditation and Licensing Before choosing a detoxification center, ensure they have the necessary accreditation and licensing. Accredited detoxification centers follow regulatory guidelines and best practices. They also comply with essential safety and quality standards. Accreditation ensures that detoxification centers operate legitimately and put their patient's interests first. The government licenses the most reputable detoxification centers. Contact local authorities for a list of credible and licensed detox centers in the area. Staff Qualifications An important factor to consider when finding a detoxification center is the qualifications of the staff. Detoxification centers should employ trained professionals with advanced medical qualifications and specialized certification in addiction and psychiatric care. Accomplished staff members ensure individualized delivery of treatment plans. Additionally, during the detox process, your healthcare provider will monitor your vital signs closely and help prevent and manage withdrawal symptoms. Insurance Coverage When selecting a detoxification center, it is essential to consider the cost of treatment and the availability of insurance coverage. Detoxification services can be expensive, even for brief stays. Check with your insurance provider for coverage options and affordable centers. Many detoxification centers accept insurance, but not all insurances are the same. Be sure to select one that accepts your particular insurer. If you are not covered by insurance, there may be other ways to seek financing. You can ask about payment plans or loan options. Detoxification is the first step toward addiction recovery. Therefore, finding one of the best “detoxification centers near me” is imperative to the success of the treatment. When looking for a detoxification center, conduct thorough research, seek professional recommendations, consider accreditation and staff qualifications, and check for insurance coverage options. Remember, every patient's journey to recovery is unique, consider all options and decide on a treatment center that fits your needs.
To find a detox near meit's important to consider your specific needs and preferences, such as the type of detox (e.g., alcohol, drug, holistic), the level of medical support required, and any other special considerations like location or amenities. Here's a general guide on how to find a detox center:
1. Understanding Detoxification
Detoxification, commonly known as detox, is the process of removing toxic substances from the body. It is a crucial step in the treatment of substance abuse and addiction. Detox can involve medical supervision, medication-assisted treatment, and supportive care to manage withdrawal symptoms and ensure safety.
2. Types of Detox Programs
Inpatient Detox: Patients stay at a facility where they receive 24/7 medical supervision and support. This is often recommended for those with severe addictions or those at risk of serious withdrawal symptoms.
Outpatient Detox: Patients visit the facility during the day but live at home. This option may be suitable for those with less severe addictions or strong social support systems.
Holistic Detox: This approach focuses on natural and alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, nutrition therapy, and mindfulness practices, in addition to conventional medical treatments.
3. Finding a Detox Center
Online Searches: Use search engines and online directories to find detox centers in your area. Keywords like "detox center near me" or "substance abuse treatment near me" can be helpful.
Consult Healthcare Providers: Your doctor or healthcare provider can recommend reputable detox facilities based on your medical history and specific needs.
Contact Local Health Departments or Substance Abuse Hotlines: They can provide information on available detox services and programs.
Insurance Providers: Check with your insurance provider for a list of covered facilities.
4. Evaluating Detox Centers
Accreditation and Licensing: Ensure the facility is accredited by reputable organizations and licensed by state or local health authorities.
Staff Qualifications: Look for centers with experienced medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, specialized in addiction treatment.
Treatment Approaches: Review the detox methods and therapies offered to see if they align with your preferences and medical needs.
Aftercare Support: A good detox program should offer or refer to aftercare services, such as counseling, support groups, or rehab programs.
5. Preparing for Detox
Medical Evaluation: Undergo a thorough medical assessment to determine the appropriate level of care and treatment plan.
Personal Arrangements: Make necessary arrangements for time off work, childcare, or pet care if needed.
Packing Essentials: If attending an inpatient program, pack comfortable clothing, personal hygiene items, and any prescribed medications.
Conclusion
Finding the right detox center is a crucial step toward recovery. By understanding the different types of programs and what to look for in a facility, you can make an informed decision that best supports your journey to sobriety.
TW: mentions of near gun violence, SA, emotional abuse, gr00ming, depersonalization, derealization, death, attempted su1c*de
i hope people understand that the picture above is sarcasm.
anyways, screw it. screw aesthetic bullshit. that's not how real life is at all anyway. that's not how mine was. this shit is NOTHING to actively want or be glorified. this entire blog is meant for me to let it all out with a comfortable layout. i don't care about fucking borders or fonts anymore. im done. let me tell you about the shit i've had to put up with.
my childhood was taken away from me by my dad. he held a gun to my mom's head and almost killed her in front of 7 year-old me's eyes after MY FUCKING CHOIR CONCERT. i remember it vividly, and everyone i know thinks that i made it up in my mind or that it never happened. IT DID. I REMEMBER IT. for obvious reasons i never want to talk about it with my family again after how they dismissed it. That started all of my hell. Then, my dad kissed me on the lips when i was 11 when i told him that i didn't want to. my mom said that "families with different cultures do it all the time". i don't even know anymore. i didn't want it. Speaking of my mom, I'm pretty sure I found her suicide note at like 10, but i don't want to delve into specifics about that. She didn't do it, thank god.
eventually, my childhood nearly came to an end. in middle school, i almost died due to an allergic reaction to a vaccine. i had to detox for three months. i'm fine now but i still shake violently sometimes and have to deal with that stupid side effect. the doctor's dismissed it as PTSD, but it can't be that, bc even AFTER the traumatic BS, i never shook like that in my life. but, immediately after i got the shot, i started shaking. make it make sense, fucking USA healthcare.
my freshman year of high school, i was a doe. i was an innocent creature who only thought of soft music and comforting things. of course i was an easy target for predators. i didn't know any better. so i was as shocked as the deer in the fucking headlights when someone who i considered to be a friend (i was 14, he was 19) started grooming me. he only befriended me to get in my pants. he tried picking me up one day after school, and i thought he thrusted himself against me. this resulted in scarred me calling the cops. they didn't do much but order that he should stay away from me and not touch me again. i went to the school, my principal just said "boys will be boys" and moved on. of course we didn't listen to the cops, i was a pathetic, hopeless romantic who wanted to keep talking to him, his tactics fucking worked on me. he continued to sext me for a year, and my parents found out and took away my phone for an entire summer. it was honestly relieving. on the last day of school sophomore year, shit hit the fan again. he entranced me, so i talked to him then, and he made out with me. i haven't told my parents this because i never want them to know. i felt so dirty and ashamed after. it hurt.
once that whole thing ended and he "graduated" (fucking finally), i blocked him and focused on my friends. this one friend i had was manipulative, and would always paint what i liked and who i was in a bad light. i would try to help them with their many "health" problems, and they would dismiss it and complain more. bitches like that can't be helped, i guess. eventually, i had enough. i said something that i deeply regret towards another friend who knew them, and she ended up telling the manipulative friend what i said. they sent a selfie of them hanging out without me, and then proceeded to tell me what a horrible friend i had been the past three years. i blocked them all. it still carried on when the manipulative friend started shit-talking me to my sister, who had nothing to do with it. that erupted into a giant fight over DMs, and we eventually cut each other off. i feel really lonely when my sisters hang out with their friends that they've had for so long, because i had to ditch the one's i knew the longest. luckily, i have one best friend and boyfriend who i know will love, help, and inspire me always now. phone calls and texts will have to do until we can finally live with each other, though.
anyways, while all of the friend drama was going on, i was dealing with an abusive ex. we would always get into fights, i can't remember exactly over what. i just remember people telling me to get out of the relationship asap. he would only love me when he smoked weed, so that was fun. we were on and off, but i finally broke things off when he said that acid was good for you. to each their own, but high school me wasn't having that.
transition to freshman year of college. i had just graduated, and was looking to make new friends. i had made a couple, two i still actively keep in touch with and am really good friends with to this day. i met a guy, and long story short, he SAed me. I wanted to stop doing something, and he forcefully made me keep doing it. When i left, i sobbed like a bitch. I felt so worthless, like i was only an object. I felt like I was good for nothing but sexual acts. My roommate (one of my good friends) saw me afterwards, and comforted me. His assault would eventually land him fired and hated amongst students at my small college, so that's good, at least.
Okay, now go to March, junior year, 2021. I'm in a sorority, things are looking up. Then, I had a complete mental shut down. I don't even know how. I wasn't living on my sorority hall at that time due to my declining mental health. I said this in chapter (I can't really remember what the context was), and this one girl stands up and looks at me while addressing all of my sisters in the chapter room. She said that our hall could get removed if not enough sisters live on it, which is total BS. I teared up and left. Later on, I turned so suicidal to the extent to where people had to come in my dorm to check on me. One day, something snapped. I was hanging out with my bf, and we had a minor disagreement, it wasn't even that big of a deal. But for some reason, i thought it was. i told him that when i got to my dorm, i would OD on pain meds and kill myself. he called the police, who then escorted me to the hospital. they wanted to admit me to the mental floor, and my parents knew i was crazy bc i hadn't been getting sleep, apparently. i asked to leave, and i asked for water, even, but they wouldnt work with me. apparently, while i was in the hospital room, my dad said that i was worthless, fat, and that i would go nowhere in life. i didn't find this out until after the fact, when my bf, who was sitting by him at the hospital, told me.
now, my grandma just died. she helped me through so much and now i can never talk to her again. and there's a load of family drama behind that that i don't even want to get into.
now, i'm listening to music and realizing that the only reason i'm alive is just to keep my little sister and my bf happy. i genuinely resent who i am. people call me strong for going through all of this, but i feel weaker than ever. i'm honestly feeling suicidal again, knowing that i can't die because both my family and my boyfriend need me. but the pressure and weight of everything feels like so much. it sucks to live through. i'm just so tired of disappointing everyone. i need to take care of my mental health, but i'm afraid i'll be deemed "lazy" if i do. my family never really prioritized mental health at all, so now mine is, to this day, rapidly decreasing. i can't afford therapy. i don't like the counseling service at my school because every time i go, i feel judged. hell, my counselor even asked me why i still go there. like, why do you THINK i go there? anywho. i called the support line my school has several times and someone is constantly trying to call me back at inopportune times (lunch, night, in class). luckily, i have my phone off, but still. idk what to even do. i feel so worthless. my boyfriend knows about my trauma, but i can't always vent to him, and my family follow my venting insta, so i have to talk about everything here. it just sucks.
sorry for trauma dumping, i needed to let it out. this'll probably get taken down anyway, don't worry.
