Karlheinz : Darkness. Whenever she looked out, she saw only infinite darkness. But no, this was not quite true. When she looked out she saw the infinite darkness of the universe. The space from which she could not escape seemed to exist outside of space and time. How long she had been here she did not know either. Minutes, hours, years, tens of years or thousands of years. A glance down at herself did not reveal much more. Her skin was warm, her heart was beating and she was breathing and yet the only thing she did not do was age. What is going on here? she asked herself so often and walked around the relatively large room from one corner to the other. The blood-red dress with the white embroidery flowed like water over the floor. With her always in motion and yet endless. Once again she looked out through the invisible walls into the universe. Goosebumps covered her body. She liked this sight and hated it at the same time. It frightened her to have the universe just like that in front of her. Sighing, she leaned carefully against one of the walls. Always with a beating heart that they would give way at some point and she would fall. Her heart beat faster and faster and she could hear the rush of blood in her ears. She knew it was him who had attacked the villa, it was him who wanted to save her, it was him who wanted her. Hastily she took the stairs down, the wood creaking under her shoes as she finally came into the big room. ,,What happened?" she asked immediately when she saw all six brothers there. She didn't even have to ask when she saw the indifference and hatred in the six of them. None of the vampires even looked at her. ,,Is-Is...he dead?" she dared to ask and approached the six. She was about to ask again when she heard a giggle from Laito. ,,What is-" she broke off as she caught a whiff of the blood spatter and the smoky smell on him. Shaking her head and with tears in her eyes, she tore herself away from him. ,,No, that's not true," she said in protest and ran back out of the room away from them. ,,Look upstairs and maybe I'll come back for you!" Laito called after her and she didn't look back. The secret room ran through her mind. A place she had only heard about briefly from Reiji and Laito. After a few moments she finally reached the top and went into the room. ,,Oh no," fear gripped her when she saw the caked walls. She stepped further into the secret room and saw what the flames had done. ,,Richter" his name came over her lips and tears streamed down her eyes as she saw the ashes on the floor. Sinking to the ground, her trembling hands moved to the ashes. ,,No, that, that, no," words came from her lips but everything was burnt. He was dead. Several months had passed since then, months in which life hardly made any sense to her. Months in which she cried and had nightmares. Months in which her heart ached and she didn't want any more. Another day came to an end, but although the others had already retired to sleep, or at least to rest because of the sun, she was still awake in bed with red and tear-stained eyes. Sighing, she closed her eyes and weighed whether she should try sleeping again. Just as she was about to open her eyes again, she felt the bed behind her give slightly. Someone saw behind her. ,,Ayato, please go," she said and turned around to look into two blood-red eyes. ,,Richter" his name came so softly and brokenly from her lips that she doubted he had heard her. ,,Forgive me, my love, for making you suffer," he said softly and pulled her into his arms. She held on to him, terrified that she was dreaming or that Reiji was making her halucinate with tea. But when he stroked her head and really felt her, she realised it wasn't a dream. ,,It's really you," she said and looked at him. He had not changed. The same dark green hair, the same beautiful blood-red eyes. The same slight smile on his lips. ,,Please forgive me for only being able to save you now, there was no other way" he said and pulled her against him for another moment before he rose from the bed and lifted her up with ease. ,,I always hoped you weren't dead," she admitted and put a hand on his cold chest. Even though he had no heartbeat, his gaze and himself seemed all the more alive. ,,Let's go, my love," he crooned before giving her a kiss and teleporting out to be with his love at last.

Lmao, this is the best ask I've had in a while. Now, I'm not a Star Wars fan nor have I seen it but a good example to use to explain this is to look at Star Wars and see how Darth Vader dealt with his kids. (I saw a clip or two and it lead me to this)

King Karlheinz of the House Sakamaki (Game of Thrones AU)

King Karlheinz of the House Sakamaki. King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men. Lord of the Seven Kingdoms. Protector of the Realm. The Usurper. The King Who Was Promised.

Karlheinz was born into a family with special blood that, according to wizards, has an affinity with magic, meaning their bloodline can bear children that can summon magic even tho they aren't descendants of wizards themselves

and what's more, they foresaw Karl marrying a woman of magic and bearing a child that would bring glory and light to the Sakamaki name

(fun fact: the prophecy was something in a Valyrian language)

this actually motivated Karl to be the best among all the potential successors of the Iron Throne, even besting Richter in almost all aspects like leadership, politics, warfare, swordplay, speaking of various languages, etc.

one can actually say he's a god... or sort of in Westeros since no one knows his weakness and he tends to move as if he had already planned out everything like a game of chess

when he was 18, he travelled to the North (particularly in Rotigenberg), studied their language of war, and met a witch

they soon decided to take their bond a step further by sleeping together and forming their own makeshift family

in fact, they had a son named Kino

ofc Karl would still go back to Westeros to perform his duties as a prince without anyone knowing that he has fulfilled the prophecy

that was until he found out from a dreamseer that he messed up bcos the Valyrian prophecy indicated that he will marry a woman who is a descendant of wizards and bear "children" with her

and bcos his pride couldn't swallow this failure, he decided to leave Rotigenberg and never return there again

he even specifically ordered his men to get rid of Kino and his mother should they try to go after him or set foot in Westeros

in fact, his men killed Kino's mother and the other witches in Rotigenberg so they could remove any evidence of Karl failing to meet the prophecy

when Karl turned 36, he finally met Cordelia (she was 16 at this time) and got married after he was crowned as the king

ofc their marriage did not have a good start bcos Cordelia was skeptical with having children at first

so Karl threatened her by impregnating Beatrix, thus Shuu's birth

he even blamed her for doing something to her womb bcos when they tried having children, the maesters noted that she will have a hard time getting pregnant

so Karl went on to have another son with Beatrix, which is Reiji

and after 3 yrs, Cordelia gave birth to the triplets, ultimately fulfilling the prophecy given to him

ofc Karl wanted to have a pureblood heir that would continue his lineage so he took advantage of his cousin, Christa, and thus Subaru was born

he was successful in his reign, winning countless wars, taking over lands, even robbing them off of their money and women

but ya know when his sons mess up with his plans, he punishes them by brutally beating them up or placing them in the dungeons

he thought he had power dancing in his hands since he wasn't going to die anytime soon accdg to Kanato

it's a lie Kanato knows he's going to die

that was until Cordelia poisoned his wine and killed him after their love making

it was a pathetic death for a glorious king

so much for having the Iron Throne when he could just be easily killed
