I try very hard to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and to be forgiving, especially when it comes to improving from past behaviors and being the best version of yourself you can be at any moment, but it is a little bothersome to have been treated very unfairly by someone and then have the their friends treat you like the bad guy. You'll always be the villain in someone's story, but it's a unique kind of annoying.

And I've been thinking of that post about how being worried about being abusive isn't enough to exempt you from being someone's abuser. It's incredibly true, and I wish more people realized this — yes, you can be abusive even if you're scared of the idea and have been abused yourself. Staunchly assuming you can't be abusive because you're a victim of abuse or don't want to be abusive simply aren't enough; I'd argue that the insistance on that idea even makes one more prone to it. If you are so deeply against the concept that you could be, then you'll ignore the indications or even find the conversation insulting, because you simply can't be abusive.

I try to keep this in mind and react accordingly to hard times. For example... I think it's why I'll never bother to beg anyone (partners and friends) who wants to end our relationship to not leave — I remember having that stuff happen to me and how it hurt me, and how it impacts my decision-making years later. I try to react to conflict in the way that I'd like someone to react to it if we switched sides. I'm not perfect by any means and I have a lot of work to do, but I can say that I try my best.

Been thinking a lot about my future career lately. I think a lot about the impact TWDG had on my overall life and I want to make something that will mean just as much to others in some capacity — and I will probably need to have an education to accomplish this in the best way possible, but I hope I can learn and train myself even without that. I've never cared much for video games at all, to be honest, but it's shaped an incredible amount of my life and has had a lasting impact on me for over a decade... And I love storytelling and character creation now.

I feel like I'm very inspired by something I love to create something special, too. I love it so much more than I think I could ever get across to anyone, this stupid thing...

I will probably not pass this final year. I was already having a hard time maintaining my attendance with my crumbling mental health at home but I've definitely had less time travelling across the country and being homeless. Even if I have good final grades, I'm probably going to be failed due to absence. I don't know what's next for me after that — not sure how I'm going to finish the last year, the school I was enrolled in was based in another state and I'm not sure if I'll simply be able to repeat another year with it, not if I don't express changing locations... We'll see, is all, but I guess I could see about finishing my education here if it doesn't work (I mean, I should have proof of residency by then).

I will probably need to wait a bit until I even think about college; I was suggested by a friend to wait until I was legally a resident of California, and it's not a large concern right now for me anyway... I just think it'd be good to go sometime, I do want to. I just wish my circumstances weren't so roundabout, lol.
