Re-watched "Drive" and I feel like many people seem to miss that half the point of the episode is not that Tom is a bad boyfriend or that he and B'Elanna are a terrible match.

The point is that relationships take work and communication, the latter of which B'Elanna isn't very good at. It's a recurring theme throughout the series that she has difficulty sharing her feelings and being vulnerable - and the first thing she does is hide her disappointment from Tom and not tell him how much work she put into planning their weekend together. Neelix, as a giver of good advice, is right to point out that because she is upset, B'Elanna is isolating herself from Tom and setting him up to disappoint her again - which doesn't help either of them.

(It honestly reminds me of people whose love languages aren't the same; if they don't tell each other this, both would just think the other person doesn't care enough because they aren't receiving love in the way they think is best.)

For all his (very adhd-coded) flaws of getting side-tracked, Tom is the one trying to communicate throughout the episode. He tells her about the race and admits that he forgot their date. But it's important to note two things: he doesn't know how much time and energy B'Elanna put into making it happen, and he says he can back out of the race. Yes he starts rambling about how excited he was, but that sounds like trying to justify why he forgot (it's important to the aliens running it for peace, its one of a kind and therefore he got really excited, etc.) It didnt come off to me as trying to guilt B'Elanna into letting him do it, because thats not the kind of person he is. I fully believe that, even if it disappointed him, he would have put B'Elanna first and backed out of the race, like he said, if she wanted him to - because we see this is exactly what he does later in forfeiting the win to talk about what has been upsetting her.

For as much as B'Elanna says that Tom doesn't seem to prioritize her, a lot of the issues in the episode are from B'Elanna feeling ignored but being unable to communicate what she needs. Which is completely reasonable! Because it's hard! Especially when you're feeling vulnerable and unappreciated, the one thing you don't want to have to do is put in more effort to communicate what you need. But of course that's not how relationships work (because people aren't mind readers), and of course they do have to properly talk it out together.

Anyways I just think that B'Elanna has some lovely vulnerability and emotional growth she has to go through in this episode, and it feels wrong to write it off as just "well they clearly aren't good for each other".

Season 1

bomika season 1 was so adorable. they didnt know each other that much but it seems they bonded quite well even if their opposites (clueless and smart). what really got me was in episode “The Thousand Prank Wars”. the bond went up so many levels especially in that moment. we learn that their relationship is more then just two friends who got their powers together. the trust level was on and off. we saw angst fluff and so much in one part 🤧 they really gotten more close and trustworthy in the episodes that went on and on in the season. halfway in there they were acting like married couple with 2 children like 😭. we saw jealous mika. period thats all i needa say, thats pretty much it , i can do more but its just gonna repeat what i just said sooo

Season 2

oh my gosh YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I LOVE SEASON 2. their relationship was top tier, literally dating. we saw how they care for each other, literally saving each others backs every episode. like i said in season 1 we saw jealous mika AND jealous bose. literally idk how u say their not in love. it canon confirmed and everything. the finale episodes in season 2 honestly>>. UNCLE HAMBONE WILL FOREVER BE MY FOREVER FAVORITE SEASON 2 EPISODE. they basically got together in that episode. they just carried honestly. (hc: after uncle hambone bose took mika on a dinner date 🤫) UNMASKED. oh my gosh they just ate. the fake dating, flirty bose, acting like a married couple. THEY JUST DID THAT. i swear i loved them so much. HOLDS A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART!! they were so silly i loved them

so to whoever wants to read this shit i think wendy doesnt work with anyone else besides stan. if you say "kyle can treat her better!" first of all stfu u kyndy shippers are annoying asf and second of all no he would not. he would clearly get jealous of other guys and he would be really controlling (not in earlier seasons) and lets just be fr for a sec... wendy would either fall out of love or get back with stan again because yknow they always go back to eachother. and plus an arguement between wendy and kyle would be ugly especially if theyre together, they both can get mad asf and the arguement would last ATLEAST a few days. and atleast stan can handle her disagreeing and yelling at him. now lets see who else shes paired with. i wanna talk abt wendy and token. first of all i dont believe wendy ever loved token because we never see theyre relationship outside of raisins. what i believe is that wendy only dated token to try and get stans attention because he did neglect the relationship and maybe she was attention-hungry. and now the final one i wanna talk to about is cartman. i hate wendy x cartman (more than i hate kyndy) because we know it would never work. she even said that she lost all feelings towards cartman after chef goes nanners. and even if you argue and say that they had good chemestry in that episode let me remind you that she ran back to stan at the end of the episode. she clearly hates cartman and clearly would rather killherself than date cartman. i dont think cartman deserves to be with anyone (except maybe yentl) because he's pretty much unlovable.

now onto stan, i dont think he works with anyone but wendy. lets take a look at style. first of all kyle has left stan several times before. he left him for token and he also never helped him with his depression in your getting old. but guess who was there to cheer him up? wendy was. wendy was one of the only people that didnt get sick of him in that episode and it really shows how much she cares for stan. and in you have 0 friends even though wendy was kinda being... weird, stan did listen to her and tried to edit his settings on his facebook.

also i wanna bring up... best friends doesnt = dating.

also i wanna talk abt stendy as a relationship. i think that they might be able to work as friends but as partners is when theyre dynamic works best. girlboss and loser bf. in all honesty stan and wendy might have the best dynamic/healthiest relationship out of everyone. theyve been shown to care about eachother lots of times and in the older seasons was when they really had their cutest moments. modern stendy isnt bad either, wendy is able to forgive stan at the end of the chat gpt episode because she loves him. and stan really cares for wendy too. he went with wendy to see shitty movies just to spend time with her and he also wrote a song for her. stendy is my absolute favorite ship and i hate when ppl make them cheat on eachother. stan would never and wendy wouldnt either. and one thing i noticed is that stan is loyal to wendy, sure he may have had a few crushes on other girls but, he never actually tried to make a move on any of them (except ms ellen) but through out all their break ups, stan never dating anyone besides wendy, which shows he really does love her enough to the point where he would hit on anyone while she was gone

theres 3 main people i wanted to pair stan with. heidi, bebe, and red. first i want to talk abt is red and stan. i feel like they would be more friends than lovers. we dont really see much of reds personality but we do know that she acts like the other girls. stan doesnt really interact with girls that much so we dont really see a certain dynamic between them. another girl i want to talk abt is bebe. bebe is an interstening character, she can be nice, outgoing and funny but she can switch up to be sassy and rude. stan and bebe are like the listeners/jocks of their groups. they both have their hobbys that go on the field (stan plays football and bebe is a cheerleader). i feel like stan and bebe would be besties shit talking everybody. and lastly i want to move onto heidi. i feel like they could work as an alternate incase stan and wendy have a permenant break up (lets be honest thats never happening). i feel like heidi likes/ is fond of stan. she went up to him for advice abt cartman and he's probably the one that knows cartman the least. and in the bracelets episode he asked her for glue which i find funny. and i feel like their love of animals would help them bond.

Summary- you join the triplets as a guest in there new podcast

The moment the triplets had mentioned the idea of starting a podcast to me I wanted to guest star on it. Seeing as I have always been there on the sidelines rooting for them, I'm in most of there old videos that you would have to scroll down forever to find. But slowly stopped making an appearance when there fan girls claimed I was "way to close to them" and "my incredibly toxic behavior was bringing them down" so instead I stayed behind the camera and helped them out with most of there videos, even if it's buying ice at four in the morning (or cleaning up the massive water spill off of nicks bathroom floor) or simply just gathering the best questions for QandA when they were to oveworked to do it themselves.

And though they'll never get around to crediting me for it, I even came up with there podcasts name. Unfortunately the three of them used argue to the ends of earth that starring on the podcast was a great way to attract hate like it did last time around, well... that was until Matt and I began dating a few months ago and accidentally leaked it to the internet while on Instagram live. And I guess the crazy fans matured with age, well most of them anyway because the hate wasnt nearly as bad we all had anticipated.

So now that I've reapproached Matt about it seeing as theyve already posted there first episode leads me to now. Nick began checking the cameras as Chris and Matt took there usual seats and i excitedly sat down fiddling with the mic infront of me. Hey dont break it Nick scolded me I held my hands up leaving it alone yes sir i quipped back, Chris chuckled want headphones y/n/n? He asked I nodded and Matt who was closest grabbed a pair and handed it over to me. I put them on staring down at the cord attached to the headphones confused, Matt who had noticed my confusion stood up walking over to me taking the cord from my hands. i never say this, especially for a slice of life kdrama, but samdalri is really set up to have a season 2. it doesnt even have to be a full 16 episodes—12 is honestly enough, maybe even 8 or 10 :0

there is so much potential to explore the side characters, but also to show how samdal supports yongpil and his dreams when he supported her throughout this entire show (i like the idea of yongpil being like “samdal is my dream” BUT THAT IS BESIDES THE POINT LOL). there has been complaints about how it almost seems like yongpil is too in love with samdal, but in the context of the story where samdal’s career and life pretty much falls apart, it makes sense for him to be the major support in the plot to complete her character arc of finding herself again. so i think it would be really nice to see it reversed and samdal supporting him in the hypothetical second season.

that also means we get to explore the side relationships that they teased throughout the whole show. i like that we really focused on samdal and yongpil and didnt give more than necessary screentime to the side characters (as many other kdramas do and it ends up being filler that no one cares about), but it almost seems like we didnt get ENOUGH.

our favorite haedal x dolphin boy NEEDS more screentime, and i really want them to explore more of the relationship of a family unit with hayul if they end up dating. also just haedal and training to become a haenyo—i wonder why they gave us that information so late, as well as hayul wanting to be a swimmer! that is such a good plotline on its own!! because then we also get to explore the relationship of ko mija passing on her beloved career to a daughter, and i think that is super intriguing.

i know jindal and her ex are somewhat comedic relief, but they also need to have a proper resolution? because he seems to really care for her, and it would be nice seeing him become someone she can rely on and eventually fall back in love with. i’m not sure which route would be better: him leaving his rich life or him completely inheriting the company, but both have a lot of potential. i think it would have to focus more on his character development rather than jindal’s, but i don’t mind seeing how their relationship plays out because it’s such an interesting dynamic and kind of unfortunate for them the way they broke up if they really loved each other. in fact, there’s also the minor relationship between him and jindal’s dad if his own relationship with his father isn’t the greatest

and i cannot belieVEE they introduced us to gyeongtae and eunbi AN EPISODE BEFORE THE FINALE?! AND THEN DROPPING THE “it’s been twenty years since his first love” LIKE HELLO?! THE POTENTIAL?! once again, another ship for comedic purposes, but it’s almost kind of sweet and i want to see more!! especially the classic “i wasn’t loved for me, but i can be myself around you and you don’t mind it” type of trope!! it’s very city girl x country boy too HAHA

i also just want to see more of eunu and see him and his wife and daughters!!! LET ME SEE HIM AS A DAD BUT ALSO LET THE OTHER CHARACTERS INTERACT WITH HIS KIDS!!! and imagine A LEGITIMATE CHA EUNWOO CAMEO that would be so FUN!!! especially if his daughter has a crush on him HAH

there is so much potential to expand on these characters for a couple more episodes and i really think they deserve it :’)

hi im the og anon about the oliver interview — you basically hit the nail on the head. im of the belief that eddie has known in some capacity he has feelings for buck and just compartmentalizes it because he didnt think buck swung that way (until now) and even then just doesnt want to touch it because hes repressed and thats A LOT to unpack even if he is aware of it. i want him to just embrace himself.

i saw a different interview after 705 that lou said he wasnt sure if he was in any episodes past 706 so im starting to think that we might have buck get some feelings realization for eddie SOON and buck pining in season 8 perhaps. ik tim says he writes as he goes but i find it hard to believe there wouldnt be some sort of overarching game plan AT ALL for a show like this. maybe the way theyre going about it changed (i think having buck date another guy first is a great idea tbh) but i still think thats the long term plan

yes, everything you said! i don't really have a lot to add except that i think it's important that eddie learns how to let himself want things and actually voice his wants, so i'd genuinely like to see him let go of the pressures of dating seriously with a specific goal in mind (finding a co-parent, etc) and see him kinda casually date around, actually figure out what he likes or wants in a relationship, etc. meanwhile buck can do some serious self-reflection while being single. (this isn't to say that i think both of them should be magically fixed from all their traumas, etc before they get together—that's never gonna happen, and saying something like that has some very messed up implications. but i do think there are a certain number of things they need to do first before being ready for a relationship with *each other* so that it doesn't implode in their faces.)

okay so I’ve really been thinking about tommy calling buck evan (irrationally thinking about it idk why it’s bothering me) bc why are they doing that? there has to be a reason bc I’d say all his past love interests have called him buck with maybe the odd evan thrown in there when the moment is serious. and technically we don’t get to see tommy and buck’s first interaction on screen bc they’re already in the helicopter when we first see them. and I was thinking chim would’ve obviously introduced eddie and buck to tommy and I would guess he would’ve said “hey this is eddie and this is buck” since that’s what they go by. like he wouldn’t use their government names lool. and then through out the helicopter journey everyone only referred to buck as buck so tommy know’s everyone calls him buck. like at this point does he even know his real name? I would guess not since everyone’s calling him buck. and then I was thinking when buck called tommy to set up the tour he most definitely introduced himself as “buck” since again, everyone was referring to him as “buck” on the helicopter. UNLESS buck said “hey Tommy it’s Evan Buckley - buck from the helipcopter…” BUT even then, it just doesn’t make sense why he’s calling him evan. like when eddie comes to the hangar, eddie calls him “buck” but again, they make it a point to have tommy call him Evan even after that. and they do this all the way through out the episode even though everyone else is calling him buck in the same moments!!! so why is tommy insisting on using his government name?! like ik he called chim “howie” but that makes sense since tommy knew chim as howie but with buck, he met him as buck!!! not as evan !! AND he’s calling Eddie “Eddie” and not edmundo so it’s clearly not that he doesn’t like nicknames Lmao. AND also, I find it weird that buck doesn’t correct him? like I dunno I just feel like he would? he’s corrected his parents in the past and when chim called him evan that one time he was like ???? and again, I understand he’s a love interest but his past LI’s didn’t even call him evan like that yet they had tommy drop evan like 50 times and for what??? has to be something right? so this show isnt a stranger to name symbolism, natalia literally means birth or rebirth. so buck dating the girl whos name means fresh start after he DIES makes sense, but in a sort of insane irony way i think the death of that relationship was actually supoosed to be the "rebirth" in a sense

and since hes being given this "clean slate" (to throw us back to the last breakup because bucktaylor breakup is literally one of my fav scenes ever) theyre starting us off in a territory we've never been in by showing us through the most prominent symbolism possible. this one seems different because it IS different, and heres one thing this LI is doing that no other LI did, just to prove it.

I do think the other effect of this choice though is that is DOES make us uncomfortable. thats not a name that gets thrown around lightly so to hear it roll off someones tongue like its an everyday occurance rightfully makes us a little apprehensive. I think it could be a clever storytelling technique so as to say this is something that seems looks and feels really good on the surface, but they are throwing in that one little element that provides us with a little unease so that we dont get too comfortable sitting here.

my headcanon for trobed is that they were actually dating for a long time, possibly hooking up at the end of the halloween episode. Jeff probably knew, Annie definitely knew but neither of them said anything because Jeff didn't really care all that much and it's not like he would gossip about it, whereas Annie was terrified of the concept of outing them and at the time of finding out was still kind of trying to get over her crush on Troy.

Now you may be asking "what about Troy dating other girls? Why didn't they tell the study group?" I'll answer your first question first

Now the reason that Troy had dated Britta and other girls through the series would be that him and Abed would have an open relationship, they have a conversation about it and Abed sees that Troy kinda would need to work through his comphet attitudes that are kind of highlighted by his issues with his own masculinity, and Abed thinks that Troy should, and wants to, figure it out for himself, so they leave their relationship open.

The second question of "Why didn't they tell anyone" can go down 2 routes, either because nobody really asked or they thought everybody already knew. I can imagine someone at the study group being shocked if one of them calling the other their boyfriend in passing and reacting in the way of "YOU DIDNT ALREADY KNOW???" so I think that the second one holds more ground. And I like to headcanon that the reason you don't see them kissing is that they might not share their affection like that, or just do it privately. We already know from Annie that they hold hands but we just never see it, so I picture it being something like that

like many other BL fans, there is nothing that turns me off faster than BL boys singing. personally, more than the boys' voices, its the songs themselves i find unbearable to listen to. to my dismay, Thai BL industry loves generic pop and slow ballads, two genres i cant stand listening to. anyhow, i enjoyed the fuck out of My School President, songs and all, so i am open to surprises!!! in fact i am begging to be proven wrong!! and i am glad that they seem to be choosing the winners based on their skills, not by vote or smth else!!!

How Well Do You Know Your Bro challenge was kinda boring because questions were not that riveting but i thoroughly enjoyed Thomas being put down about not getting to play w Kong. i will comeback to that Tee & Kong situation soon.

finally KengNamping won and they got to have some lil old✨💫💞The Special Friendship Time💕💫 ✨. is this what we are calling having a heart to heart on a pseudo-date with your potential work partner nowadays???? during their Special Friendship Time, i was busy taking hundred of screenshots of Namping because he looked so damn good in his fit!!!!!!!!!

it was sooooo sweet to see them openly talk about their lives and dreams. they had such a progress across these 5 episodes!!! they were finally open about how they want to work together but also things they need to better in order to do so. i cant help but just love their blushing and awkward demeanor!!! it somehow works in their favour.

so funny how keng is admittedly a hard to crack introvert but sometimes his awkward bluntness somehow leads to UNBEARABLY cute moments. like i was climbing up the wall when they were having their final discussion on the bench and keng was being like "who else would i be talking" OR "can we get this over with" while looking Namping in the eye LMAOOO and Namping cant help but just giggle... just some yummy novice fanservice <3

back at the house, Thomas getting jealous over TeeTee & Kong having a talk was funny to me because the it was kinda one of the most obviously produced/edited scenes of this show. i am not going to blame them, maybe they were worried about the show being too conflict free. honestly, i did actually expect Tee to ask Kong to be his partner because nothing gets past me just like Thomas::

we know in all boys sent postcards to each other episode 1 but the show didnt reveal who sent which. well actually, Domundi X account shared a picture of the postcards and (if you have too much free time like me) you can pair the cards w info given by boys themselves in that episode;

so hey, Tee sent his postcard to Kong!!! so while folks were on social media making fun of Thomas being overly possessive, my dude was actually onto something!!! his radar was going off and he had to settle the matter!!! i get him, he is like "i''m already an established actor and have a fanbase, just let me get my man so we can maximize our joint slay and leave" and he is so right.........

since the first episode, everyone was tickled by how this show is working like a dating show, me included. but after seeing this comment and similar ones made me think further:

if you think about it, they kinda WILL date??? not on some delulu shit, think about it: they will be shipped, will do fanservice & skinship, spend most of their time together, travel together, co-habit if its required, not just work together but also will be required to take care and trust and depend on each other, FOR at least a couple years if it works out. they will be stimulating "dating", even out of a tv series. being branded pair is a long term job that requires a lot of trust and compatibility. they are also rookies in the industry, so of course they are taking it seriously and discussing their future like choosing a romantic partner.

so, while i felt really sad for Latte as he seemed really worried while trying to look chill about everything, i am glad TeeTee and First chose to not rushing into a pair just to win the show and were honest about still needing time to hone their craft and building chemistry. and i'm not opposed to TleFirst but i still want to see LatteFirst in LUAT as the side couple. i enjoyed them in the pilot trailer and think their roles is going to fit them well. i also dont want to see an actor lose a job for a ship, cmon...

Gems broke my little heart again ahhhh. TBH, Tle clocked his tea when he said Gems should be more confident in himself. its not easy to do so in front of an audience and i'm sure the industry feels like horse race but i hope Gems will be more sure of his abilities in the future and finally have his moment.

on a bigger twist, KengNamping & ThomasKong were the finalist couples!!!

honestly, i have NO IDEA which couple i want to see win. mostly because both pairings give off very different vibes to me. for me, my choice would depend on the plot of this supposed new series, but i dont even know what it is even about.

i was thinking what kind of series i would like to see them in. when i think of ThomasKong, i can see them pulling off a fun and youthful series like My School President, Kieta Hatsukoi or I Will Knock You. w KengNamping, they would look good in a period series like I Feel You Linger in the Air or To Sir, With Love, even though Domundi has already LUAT (which will hopefully come out in this century). i just want to see them in something angsty but also incredibly romantic. should the unimaginable occur and someone from Mandee Works is reading this, feel free to steal ideas!

i am excited for next week, i will be glad no matter the outcome. cant wait to see the crazy stage putfits!!!!

Tbh I think the pjo show absolutely captures the spirit and the energy of the book more than anything and that’s what makes it so enjoyable to me at least. It being a lot more book accurate is nice but Percy actually feeling like a uncool 12 year old “problem child” is by far the thing that sold me the most on this show. Even the camp locations that don’t look 100% the way I’ve always pictured them just feel right? As much as I thought the pacing was messy for the first two episodes the vibe is just so in line with the books that I can’t wait to see more

i read only one book when i was like 12 so i forgot most the story but before i even watched it i could tell by everyones reactions that its very true to the books. i was iffy before i started it bc that clip of the fortnite dance made me worry itd be one of those shows that sucks at writing young gen z culture and theyd try to throw in all these ugly dated pop culture references that would be cringy but that hasnt been a problem at all. walker scobell plays percy so well.

i do like it but so far im not over the moon obsessed but thats just because this kinda show usually just isnt my thing, not because i think its bad. and again, i didnt read the whole book series so my experience is way different than someones who grew up obsessed with the series. im excited for the medusa scene tho thats one of the only things i remember.
