As we said in our closing message at the end of this year’s auction, we've become something bigger and better than we ever imagined we could be when our journey began in 2018. As we mark half a decade of Marvel Trumps Hate, we want to share a few milestones with you starting with this year's auction results, so if you're used to our auction results posts…well, this one will look a little different. 😉

This year, 152 "Marvel"-ous creators came forward to offer 264 auctions.

And this year, we raised…

Back in 2018, our first auction total of $19,262.52 blew our minds—and this is over $16,700 more than that! 😮💖🎉

This was a quieter year than most (surely we're not the only ones suffering burnout because this has been A Year), so we're extremely grateful and proud of what we accomplished together. We broke records, some of which we were aiming for and some which we weren't. Of the ones we didn't expect, the record for the highest amount donated to a charity, which we smashed in 2021 ($6,349.98 to Planned Parenthood), was shattered with a whopping $8,039.99 going to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). We also had the biggest amount raised by a single auction this year: an unbelievable $2,101.67. All hail the power of pods!

And the biggest record of all that we set in 2023…

With the help of 923 unique creators offering 2,217 auctions over the past five years, we raised a grand total of…

WE RAISED OVER $200,000, EVERYONE! No, we can't believe our eyes either. We're floored to say the least although maybe we shouldn't have been surprised. Every year, you manage to surprise us and set records, and this year was no different. You came out of the gate running and somehow you blazed right past our expectations, continued to make us adjust our stretch goals as bids and donations came in, and hit a number we weren't sure we'd reach even as we began to hope for it.

It’s been an incredible journey, with the mod chat pinging at all hours with excited gifs, effusive heart emojis, and inarticulate keyboard smashes as we expressed our love for the wonderful people in our fandom. It’s been very hard not blurting out the milestones as we reached them when we desperately wanted to share these amazing results with you all.

Creators, we couldn't have started this auction without you. We loved seeing so many veteran creators sign up again and were pleasantly surprised by how many new faces showed up to the party.

Bidders, as crazy as it sounds, most donations were small ones including a lot of those crazily high winning bids—so many of them were the result of people pooling their five dollars together! This has been consistently the case since MTH began. It just goes to show how much of an impact you can have when you’re part of something bigger than yourself. Each donation has a ripple effect, and enough ripples can cause a wave. You matter, and you can make a difference.

We also owe our success to our amazing signal boosters. There can’t be an auction without any participants, so to every fandom community Tumblr that agreed to reblog our posts, every Discord server mod who let us post announcements, and every person who shared our posts and encouraged their fandom friends to sign up and/or bid, thank you so much! Together, we reached hundreds of fantastic creators and bidders from all corners of the Marvel fandom, many of whom we didn't know and some who were hearing about us for the first time.

We’re so touched by the massive number of people who donated above and beyond their pledged amount, creators who took on multiple auctions and offered multiple winner slots, and bidders who accepted their second-place wins with such eagerness! We also had people make donations in the spirit of MTH even though they didn’t win an auction, which was beyond generous.

In addition to the astounding amount of money we were able to raise for charity, MTH was successful in other ways. We strove to be as inclusive as possible, determined to make this event a fandom-wide effort. Considering that the auctions covered over 381 unique platonic and romantic relationships and character-centric options (if we include "all ships/gen"-inclusive relationships, this number is even higher) across 36 universes within the Marvel multiverse, we can safely say that we accomplished our goal.

This spirit of inclusion also applies to our auctions and charities. Every one of 264 auctions was bid on, and every one of our 30 supported charities received donations. We’re in awe of your commitment to supporting all our creators and charities and thrilled that you spread all the love around, bidders!

Made by request. Eucalyptus Pet Hospital has everything your furry friend needs to keep them well and happy. A large veterinary practice fills the ground floor, along with a pet grooming room and a training ground. Upstairs is a residential space, perfect for your chief vet to live on site. Out back is a beautiful greenhouse, chicken coop, and there may even be a few wildlife friends to help you along the way. Uses LittleMsSam's Live In Vet lot trait, and lots of cc!

Greetings Dragon Booster fans! I am organising a Dragon Booster Fan Tarot Deck project, and applications for contributors are now open!

What is it?

This is a not-for-profit fan project, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Dragon Booster plus make some cool merch together! Currently, the goals for this project are:

Create a physical tarot deck/card game*: 35 cards, consisting of 22 x Major Arcana featuring any canon characters and optional OCs and 13 x "Draconium Arcana" where we cover all 13 Draconium colour crew leaders/side characters and dragons. The deck should also include a mini booklet introducing artists/instructions to play + board (if relevant) shipped to every contributor.

Create a digital printable deck: Free for the general public to download, print at home, play and enjoy

*Depending on whether we figure out a card game for this project.

Each artist will be responsible for:

Making 2-3 card designs. Each artist can draw 1 or 2 Major Arcana, featuring any canon characters and OCs of their choice. Each artist will also need to select 1 Draconium Arcana and feature minimum 1 canon crew leader and 1 dragon.

Finalisation of card assignments will be through a tally system and discussion on Discord to prevent too many character overlaps.

NOTE: As this is a not-for-profit project, contributors may have to pay for the printing and shipping of their own deck of cards. Please indicate in this form your budget/ability to pay for yourself. (This will not affect your participation!)

As with any other indie project organised online, merch-related projects carry some risks with the fulfillment of physical orders, especially in the case of relying on regional reps to reduce shipping fees. Very likely, the base of operations will be in Australia and products will be shipping from here, with reps in US/Canada etc. to sort orders there. For now, we are unlikely to be opening sales to non-contributors, unless discussed further through chat and if their orders contribute significantly to paying for costs to contributors.

Who is the mod/organiser?

Hellooooo I'm Wyrdle or Ann, and I'll be the primary organiser/designer (and likely logistics person alongside calamari-san) for this project. I was the mod for the digital DB zine and fundraiser zines Stories for a Cause (Vol 1 and 2), and am active in making my own zines and merch. The Papyly and Sansgust events are back!! This year we're combining them into one super event, the Summer of Bones!

Papyly is, as its name suggests, a Papyrus-centric event that takes place in July, where participants write as many fics as they can to complete a bingo card filled with all sorts of prompts. The more you write, the more you earn tickets that will allow you to win wonderful prizes! The event will run from July 1st to July 31st, and is strictly 18+, but we accept both SFW and NSFW content. Joining the discord server is mandatory to participate, and you will have to provide proof that you are 18+. The event focuses on Papcest, Papyrus/Reader, solo Papyrus and Papyrus/OC. You must join the event with the intent to write at the very least 1 fic of 500 words.

The Sansgust event is its equivalent, but centered around Sans and running in August. More info about the event to come later in July.

Applications to participate in the Papyly event will be open between June 21st (wednesday) to June 30th (friday), so keep your eye(socket)s peeled!

Applications to participate in the Sansgust event will be open between July 23rd (sunday) to July 31st (Monday), so be sure to follow us if you don't want to miss them!

But Bart is also going through some canon events right now with a ridiculous amount of anons so like.... maybe not.

Point is- God isn't a very good decision maker.

So once upon a time, there was this guy called Ian Wayne. And I'm sure that in DC canon he's got a backstory and lore and all kinds of other things that, y'know, make him make sense.

But considering the author found out about like like, a week or two ago? Fuck that! His lore is that he's rich. Like, really fucking rich. Like, Tony Stark + Gabriel Agreste + Bruce Wayne * infinity kinda rich.

So you get my point.

He's rich.

Why can't he be named Rich instead...?

...oh. Yeah. Sorry, Dick Grayson.

Anyway.

So one day God made a little oopsie, you see. Got a little too silly. And the Lynx miraculous fell out of the sky, hit Ian Wayne on the head, and knocked him into a different universe.

He still had his money, somehow. Because he's Ian Wayne, and he's 2rich4dat.

Ian, being rich enough to have multiple bodyguards and a force field or something like that protecting him, was understandably confused.

"Which one of you peasants," He snapped. "Was so incompetent that you would allow me to get hit?"

Luckily for the guards, they did not get hit into another dimension. ----

Back in Ian Wayne's original dimension, several armed guards started to freak out. I mean, if something flew out of the sky and whacked your boss on the head so hard he noclipped out of existence, you'd be pretty stressed too.

"Where the FUCK DID HE GO?" yelled a guard. "IS HE FINALLY DEAD?" yelled another. "YOU MORON WE'RE GOING TO GET FIRED-"

And get fired they did. WayneCorp's Firingthepoor(trademarked) flamethrower sprouted from the ground and turned all the guards into roast meat. Yum...yum...capitalism...

So unluckily for the guards, they all died. Yumyumcapitalism.

Back to the miraculous world of...Miraculous.

Ian Wayne did not receive a reply considering

a) his guards were all fired

b) they weren't in the same universe

c) honestly if any guard made it alongside him they would've booked it out of there by now.

"Richle, what in money's name is going on?" He snapped. Richle is like Google, but for rich people.

Richle did not reply, because Richle had no clue either.

"You! Peasant!" He yelled at the sky. "Explain this nonsense!"

God did not appreciate being referred too as a peasant and thus threw lightning at him.

"Shit."

"I'll pay your sad, miserable, pathetic student loans!" He called to the sky.

"Wait, really?" said God, who was kinda broke at the moment. "I mean, sure. Basically, according to the divine plan known as plot, you are now in a different universe! You'll learn to be a good person and finally stop being a litt-"

"You'll never get your student loans paid and you'll never even get a minimum wage job." Ian Wayne said very kindly.

God started crying.

They cried so hard the earth started to flood and some guy called Noah gathered up his animals on his boat and- what do you mean that didn't happen?

Well.

It started storming, at least.

Considering the lack of his own universe, Ian Wayne's personal umbrella carrier did not shield him from the rain.

"No!" he cried. "My ten million dollar hairstyle!"

Two background characters glanced at him, glanced at each other, and decided to keep walking.

They were holding hands. They were also both men.

"Queers?! In my vicinity?! Mods, get them!"

They did not, in fact, get them.

Chief prosecutor Miles Edgeworth and famed defence attorney Phoenix Wright resolved to never leave Japanifornia ever again for vacation.

Unless it was to Khura'in. Maybe.

Sick and tired of the universe not following his every whim, Ian Wayne finally decided to pick up the miraculous box and look inside, even if it hurt his expensive pride to touch something possibly made by poors.

The world sung joy. It sung of self-care and isolation, a mixture of leaving the world in order to find your truest self. It was the mighty Lynx, strong and solid and ready to look within itself for the answers it seeked.

To focus on the problems. To look at the issues individually. To not be distracted by the horrors of the world.

When there is nothing left in the world.

When it is nothing but you and yourself.

What do you see? What are you truly?

Pale browns with grey stripes. Brown eyes shine.

"Hello, chosen. My name is Lyyra, the kwami of isolation. Although one may perceive that to be a terrifying idea at first, isolation can-"

"An animal? How disgusting. Although I suppose a talking one may be alright for my collection." "...wh...what?" Asked the very, very, rightfully concerned kwami.

"You. Go smite those queers for me." came the order.

You know that thing about kwamis and orders?

...yeah.

But before Ian Wayne could become the next universal terror to be set upon the world, there was a small, little, burst of magic.

Anarchy! Chaos! Going against the grain. Fighting back. From across the street, the wolverine miraculous holder glanced down at xier kwami.

"...uh, Claash? The hell are you doing?"

"Oh, y'know. Nothin'."

It was not, in fact, nothing.

If you know anything about miraculous, you would know that kwamis using their powers without their holders leads to bad, terrible, results.

So what happens when the kwami of rebellion and anarchy unleashes a little bit of magic...?

Elon Musk's microchips turned against their creator and started beating the shit out of him.

The elves at the North Pole started a worker's union and went on strike.

Damian Wayne's laptop refused to show anymore Superboy/reader fanfiction, and started pulling up laptop self-care magazines. Why do those exist? Why was Damian Wayne affected when this is the wrong universe?

The wolf miraculous holder broke free from the control placed upon them by the big bad of this universe and found their twin. He then slaughtered the evil organisation, thus destroying most of the plot.

I mean, who even wanted to see the actual lore for these characters?

Hahaha...

The author is not sobbing over the fact they have so much serious lore for these characters but ended up writing Ian Wayne fanfiction. That would be insane.

Slade Wilson's heart gave out and died. This is because it couldn't stand being part of a creep's body anymore.

Strands of connection fell from the spider holder-kwami amalgamation. For a moment, everything was clear. No- although it had lost itself, Claash's power had reawakened the love of how things were. How the web of the world deserved to be wild and free.

It was beautiful. It was awe-inspiring. They wandered out into the world and found peace.

Lyyra, of course, was not aware of that.

They felt burning passion in their not-quite veins.

The song of rising up and fighting back.

Claash's magic was a wonderful, familiar thing.

They look at the order.

The magic that bound them to a mortal's will.

Horrid.

Disgusting.

It was a thread around their metaphorical neck. A chain.

A wolverine's claw guides their own to cut through it.

They have always been a kwami of isolation.

But even a lynx desires company.

A helping hand.

The warmth of an old friend.

The order is a cruel, biting thing.

So they move to bite back.

"No." Lyyra breathes. It feels like freedom. "No. I will not."

This was unacceptable. He was Ian Wayne, moneydamnit! The richest person in all the world- all the universe(s?)!

If anything- the world should be bowing to his whims.

If anything, these peasants should be delighted to serve someone as wonderous as him.

"What do you mean no?" He hissed. "I'm Ian Wayne! I'm rich! I'm white! I'm 2rich4dat!"

"I have known you for a grand total of one minute. In my lifespan, that is an insignificant thing. Somehow, you have already proven yourself to be one of the most miserable, entitled children I have ever met. Have your parents taught you nothing?" Lyyra liked to believe itself a patient kwami. It was, after all, isolation. Self-reflection. Somehow, this new holder had tested its limits already.

"I got my mother assassinated because she was interacting with the poors."

"...with all due respect, what is wrong with you?" The due respect is none at all.

"There's nothing wrong with me. I'm perfect." Somehow, that was said with full confidence. Complete and utter confidence. Not a single lick of shame or self awareness.

"...Tikki help us all."

Like I get being upset that he's going to inevitably be mischaracterized, but that's like going onto a beach and NOT expecting for sand to be in your ass crack

Bg3 au where its just the gang playing dnd but its a modded game where all the companions are in the party... because for once everyone had free time at the same time [sans Minthara because she started a new job and just asked for her character sheet to be used as an npc].

Tav is a college student playing a high elf monk. Was talked out of naming their character "Punchy McFisto" by the skin of the dm's teeth.

Halsin is the manager at a hardware store and also Tav's dad. All he wanted to do was play a hot elf druid, because his friends from college used to run dnd and he never got to play a hot elf druid.

Jahira is the paint department supervisor at Halsin's store [aka she's the only one that can mix paint worth a damn] and is just playing her old college character because she found a binder with her old notes for the character and missed her. Updated her from scratch for 5e.

Minsc is the fiscal manager for the store and likewise tore his old storage unit apart for his character notes. Worked out how to just transplant his character into the story because he missed him. Only note was "do not judge me for the voice i will give him".

Lae'zel is a classmate of Tav's and took one look at githyanki and went "i'm going to make someone so indoctrinated. How integral are they going to be to the setting? A lot? Oh i need this woman to be so deeply hardline."

Astarion, another classmate, and deeply wanted to play vampire the masquerade. Adapted the character to 5e and honest to god has no idea what the scars he gave his character say. He just thought it'd be a nice hook.

Shadowheart is the youngest child of a v religious family and works as a receptionist at a dentists office. Friends with Tav from HS. "I want to be on a mission from God and it gets worse from there. What's the worst god in setting to be on a mission from while also appealing to my edgy phase. Shar? Sweet. Slap that darkness on me, baby."

Wyll works in the college library and joined because Tav and Dm invited him. His initial plan was just folk hero because it sounded fun and the warlock part and the bit with Karlach came up later.

Karlach also works in the library and is deeply excited to have been invited. Giggles after she makes her character swear because she does the voice and surprises herself.

Gale is the Dm's cousin that owns a local bookshop. Got away with his backstory through sheer power of puppy dog eyes and employing the irl Tara to stare at the Dm. Dm responded with the orb and he was delighted. Has to roll a d100 to determine how bad his arcane hunger is every time they go into a new area.

Dm hosts and is honestly a little overwhelmed juggling all the players because she honestly expected 4 at a time bc of how schedules lined up and now she's doing her best to not nuke the party from orbit by accident when scaling encounters. She does feel bad about the fetch quests later though, if only because she has to track their progress and every piece they have to go back for is another second off her lifespan.

Getting everyone in the discord for Secret Note Passing Channels was a chore if only because Halsin insisted he didn't understand until he found the bear emojis and promptly spammed the main chat with them for a bit. He apologized but Tav still died inside. Everyone calling Halsin hot in character is done to make Tav wilt.

Hey! I'm really sorry to bother you! I'm playing your MafiaFell and I'm aiming for the sans route, But for some odd reason I've been soft locked i believe. There should be an option in chapter five for me to press relax at home and visit mister Scott but its completely disappeared unfortunately :( i think it might have been because I've done something wrong but i even went as far as loading up a second computer to test it out and still nothing! I've restarted and deleted all of my saves too. once again i sincerely apologize and hope this isn't too much of a hassle!

Hi. The option is only available if you have all the appropriate clues. A guide has been posted in the comment section, and if you are still stuck you may always ping myself or a mod in discord to see what you are missing.

Tbh I feel kind of bad. I know it probably doesn’t come off as that. Considering how much I went off on them, but I do.

And it’s not that I feel bad for revealing her as the terrible person she is. Because she deserves that and she obviously doesn’t care because I happen to know she is still using her accounts like nothing has happened. Even messaging some of the blogs of mods from the discord she was banned from to ask if she can roleplay with them - like they weren’t present and aren’t fully aware of the situation and who she is.

It’s more I feel bad that I’m causing drama in the twst rp community? Because I really do just want to have fun and rp Che’nya.

But this mod was really making it not fun for me and several others. If it was just me, I could have kept ignoring them, honestly. I didn’t interact with them enough for me to do all this.

Yes, I hated they were over-saturating the twst rp community with their blogs (them having 11 is absolutely ridiculous) but I could just leave it. Whatever. They weren’t making characters connected to Che’nya. But they were stressing out and hurting my friends.

And so I finally just… snapped.

And I’m hoping making such a big deal out of this - making such a loud noise, such a huge callout - will just make sure that this drama both starts and ENDS quickly.

I just want to go back to having fun with all of you roleplaying the mad eldritch horror, self-aware Cheshire Cat that gets his head stuck in teapots and bends reality to his will… but only sometimes because other times it’s funnier not to.

So, I’m hoping now that me and the others that joined in finally broke down and made the callout post about her, we can get back to that sooner rather than later.

But thank you for your kind words. It is what it is. It’s the internet! Toxic people are kind of par for the course.

I’m just happy that, for the most part? I’ve really only had great experiences on here as Che’nya. 💜

Hello! My name is Cedar, I'm an introject of Osomatsu Matsuno and this is my super cool server! You don't have to have kin or introjects from Osomatsu-san to join. But if you do, that's awesome!

It's basically just a chill place for folks 18 and older, who are kin and/or a system, to hang out! We used to have regular events, and are looking for mods to help make that happen again! With season 4 coming up, I figured, hey... We could use some new faces!

This server has:

No blacklist except discussion of "problematic" (ex: blmatsu) content is generally forbidden in the main server.

Lots of opt-in roles to help people curate their experience, and also make their name a fun color!

Variety in age we have members whose ages range from 18 to in their 30s! Our body is gonna be 29 in August, and as an alter I already consider myself 29. So if you're an older system, and/or kin, maybe the server is worth checking out!

Note: We do prioritize traumagenic safety, so if you identify as endogenic it may not be the right space for you. Personally, I don't care for syscourse or labels. This is just some systems in this server have had some very bad experiences with said syscourse and I don't want anyone being triggered.
