I know I can write long stories with over arching plots, powerful conversations, and engaging moments. I know cause I do it as a hobby. So why is it failing now that I need to do it? Why can't it seems as good as the fanfic I re-read.

Yes, I re-read my own fanfics cause I made them and they cater to my taste. Who wouldn't?

Either way, I just find myself getting really irritated at myself. Because I know I can sit down and write for 3 days straight. Why can't I do it for the book I am pouring all my hopes and dreams into? Why isn't that occupying my mind in the same way. I've drawn these characters. Filled them out and made them rounded as best I could. I made them from pieces of myself. Shouldn't that make it easier?

Jane is such an interesting case. I feel like the main thing about Jane, the main interesting thing, is how conflicted with herself she is. Many people say that she's selfish and that's it. Which, I see why people say that, but I think it's much deeper than just that actually.

Jane mentions quite a few times how she's been in many disfuntional and abusive groups that collapsed eventually. And she lost her sister. That must've left a mark on her, or even tramuatized her. Made her overly cautious. The degree to which she's untrusting of others is really worrying and sickening. But still, she feels sympathetic towards Clementine and tries her best to stick to her and the group. She cares for Clem, teaches her a lot of useful stuff (such as how to take down a walker, which she still does in s4). Which I believe on it's own means a lot. The fact that at her lowest she decided to split with the group, but later on overcomes that anxiety and comes back when they need her help in my opinion means a lot aswell.

Unfortunately, what she does later on (risk baby AJ's life just to prove a point to Clementine) is something that cannot be justified or explained. I guess you could argue how she genuinely saw Kenny as a threat to both her, the baby and Clementine, and therefore she decided to risk the life of one to potentially save all of them. Because she was so desperate, and didn't see a different way out. But still, that's risking a baby's life :/. Just imagine if something had actually happend to AJ...

That's a part of twd world. Everyone is flawed. Everyone makes bad decissions. And that's something I really, really like. Jane isn't a black and white, downright evil and selfish character. It's a traumatized woman who by wanting to do something right, ends up doing something awful and later suffers the consequences of it (I'm still going with Kenny, sorry girl).

So even though it's a possibility for her to admit that she could have been more honest about not seeing what they have as that serious why should she have? I don't mean to make it sound any sort of way but damn they are just not compatible and that's even before you take into account that he's insecure about her wealth and maybe he should leave her alone if he can't get over it

Like most of the time I get them engaged and max out their approval if I can in the same way I try to save the kings marriage, not because I think it's a good idea or good for them but because it makes them happy(Well half the time I prevent the proposal outright but this is the first time I've ever directly made it fail)

It still remains to be seen how the devil in me will do on that front but so far I'm declaring little hope as the winner for canon ships(even if a solid chunk of them are doomed)
