Did a study of one of the scenes from the episode Through the Looking Glass Ruins, referenced from a screenshot from the show

I wanted to get outside my comfort zone a bit and draw something creepy with darker tones since I tend to draw cutesy stuff with lots of saturated colours lol

I absolutely adore this scene and this episode of The Owl House, I think illusionists in TOH are the coolest and seeing Gus come into his own was just awesome. Plus this scene is just delightfully creepy, I love how dark the show can be at times 😆

I only kind of feel bad that Bria was traumatized for life 😅

for the longest, i’ve been thinking Luz’s palisman is going to be a bat, cardinal, or otter. but thanks to them made me think otherwise.

here’s all the evidence to the fact that Luz’s palisman could actually be a snake:

there’s too many snake references for it to be a coincidence. like, even her shirt has a caduceus (a literal staff with a snake on it).

Plus the entire episode of through the looking glass ruins is just so many parallels, the entire episode is both ships getting to know eachother better and becoming closer as a pair.

There are like way more but I can't be bothered to look for them all, however I'd like to point out that Luz and Gus have mirrored personalities. As does season 1 Amity and Matty.

My favorite set of photos from Momocon are this poor random man trying to get a good picture of me and hooty, but the hooty kept making me laugh so hard I couldn’t hold still!

Definitely cheered me up after a really scary encounter that morning that wrecked my costume! QwQb
