I wonder how everyone would react if they ever did find out what Edgar did to corrupt Oogie.

YEAH!!! They clearly look up to Edgar, since they were disappointed to hear he was passing on the Pumpkin King title. Did they know about his (darker) intentions with his rule over Halloween town? How would have things went down if the Residents learned he was trying to fix the contest in favor of Oogie? It was awful, and I'm kind of disappointed his true colors were never revealed to anyone, even Jack.

I guess Oogie will be the only one who ever knew what the previous Pumpkin King was truly like...

Things I Found Interesting In The DuckTales GuideBook: The Sequel

Here are some cut bits I found interesting in the DTG.

Honestly, it would’ve been such a cool twist to see Launchpad be a member of F.O.W.L! It was mentioned in the book that the reason Bradford hired him was because he thought LP’s tendency to crash could kill Scrooge. Dang, the number of fanfics that could’ve surfaced from this idea.

For all the Glomscrooge shippers out there, Rumble for Ragnarok was supposed to be a Scrooge and Glomgold centered episode. I feel like Glomgold’s wrestler name would be something like Fool’s Gold or Sharkbait lol.

Not sure if this is a joke or not? Me and @disneyboy53 were left confused on this ending note. Any speculations?

The letter is supposed to be the exact word-for-word note Donald sends Scrooge in the OG series when he meets HDL. Thought it was a nice callback!

Finally, one of my favorite cut bits: Dewey’s dance off with Don Karnage. Was I disappointed this didn’t make it in the full ep? Yes. But the crash was infinitely more funnier lmao.

I'm confused as you said that three more Ducktales episodes coming this week but the commercial afterwards said that they were in May so I don't know what's going on. Let me know what you think about it. Plus I love your clips OK good.

Originally we thought the show will be back weekly after WHTDD! we where waiting for Disney ABC’s Press Calendar update but it looks like it was a special episode like A Tale Of Two Stans and the big rest of S2 will air on May.

I do wonder what would happen if someone made a comic adoption of The Pumpkin King but added some new stuff that references Battle For The Pumpkin King. That's stuff I always have thought about.

That would be a really cool idea!! If The Pumpkin King Game was where Jack and Oogie finally faced each other after many years of Boogie plotting his overthrow of Jack's reign in Edgar's Lair...maybe we could even see how and when he gets Lock, Shock, and Barrel to work for him...I'm still DYING to see the kid's backstories and how they met Oogie to begin with.

I would love something like this!! I'm always asking for more TNBC prequel content!
