We just had a turkey nap and are now back to work. These vertical-mount 1.14" IPS TFT displays have 240 x 135 pixels and are 'stackable' horizontally on a breadboard or perfboard. There are just enough pins to control the TFT and backlight, so if you want to individually control each display, just have them share the SPI and DC pins, then have a unique chip select pin for each. These could make for cute 'flip' display simulations or faux nixie bulbs. The prototypes work fine; we just need to adjust the slot size. The panelized PCBs can be booked, and there is pie.

They will then use that team to play through a story-driven campaign with objectives linking individual missions. “I think it’s most similar to BattleTech [...] but so far it’s a little bit difficult to [share] the details,” said Kawashima. “The basic concept is to play a big team featuring your favorite mobile suits. However, since this is a game based on Gundam IP, we also want to offer special scenarios, limited battles that evoke the original storyline to help the player to feel connected to the source material.” As far as terrain or other accessories, Bandai has not yet finalized what will come with Gundam Assemble The final product will likely include the game board, dice, and cards that show the details of each unit in-game — and in-fiction, including details like Gundam height. While hex-based movement is integral to the game at this time, Bandai said that it hasn’t ruled out other gameplay modes that use rulers or other tools to allow units to move more freely. That means massed battles of Gunpla could be on the horizon — but for now, at least, the company is laser-focused on this smaller footprint game. For the designers at Bandai, it was particularly important to translate the intricate detail of their large, elaborate models to the smaller size of a tabletop miniature. That meant actually making them a bit bigger than traditional 28 mm- or 32 mm-scale models. At 5 centimeters (roughly 2 inches) tall, each Gunpla miniature will tower over a traditional 40K Assault Intercessor, and will even have a bit of reach on a Captain in Gravis armor. They’re also very highly detailed. “Many of the models in this Assemble kit are based on existing High Grade Gunpla [kits],” said Jun Someya, a member of the Gundam Assemble planning and development staff. “In order to efficiently create cool poses with a small number of parts, the angle of the arms has been carefully adjusted. For parts that would not otherwise be visible, they were purposefully omitted or molded [in place].” Of course, most model-makers don’t paint their Gunpla. Tabletop gamers often do paint their miniatures, though, and Bandai is hoping its design will cater to their unique needs — especially folks who are looking to build up their “shelf army.” “We thought the size would satisfy customers who display their individual miniatures,” Someya said. “Also, the size would be perfect for painting Gundams, which have very small faces and armor plates. Miles, in contrast, smiles privately to himself—dipping his head so that his overgrown bangs hide the scope of it, seemingly radiating an incorporeal sort of warmth, like a crackling hearth against what’s left of the snow. He offsets it by saying something dry and cutting, and Wright shuffles his expression to fond exasperation, and then they just sort of stare at each other for a too-long while. 

They are, in every sense of the phrase, flirting with each other.

Indeed.

“I require no assistance from any proverbial utensil,” Franziska agrees. “This deplorable display is more than enough.”

Deplorable might not be a strong enough word. Franziska studies Maya’s expression, as though she will find her answer within it. Discovering no such thing, then, she casts a glance back over to the lovesick clowns and their uninspired circus routine. That aura of wonder from a few days before falls back over Franziska’s shoulders like a strange, ineffable veil—Maya intends to lead her somewhere on a whim, once more. And, once more, Franziska finds she is curious enough to follow.

There are more questions she has, of course—go back to Miles’ house and do… what? Running them over in her head, though, she finds those questions need not be verbalized until much later. Whatever frivolous leisure Maya plans to bring, Franziska knows with utmost certainty it will be more pleasure than watching her brother canoodle with Phoenix Wright.

Her work here is done, in any case. There’s no point in lingering when the case is airtight, no point in messing with perfection. Franziska lifts her briefcase once, twice, testing its weight in her hand to better balance her gait. That settled, then, she turns on one heel and begins walking toward the mouth at the end of the parking lot.

“Very well,” says Franziska, and she hears Maya scuttle excitedly into form behind her, wooden sandals clunking on the cracking sidewalk. “But I will be giving you no more late nights, Maya Fey. I expect you to vacate the premises before seven PM so that I may get the proper amount of rest to crush your pet fool in trial tomorrow.”

At her side, Maya’s off-kilter steps strike an odd harmony against the uniformity of Franziska’s own. “You go to bed at seven? You freakin’ pilgrim.”

So there is this device at work. its called an EPD. the name is not important. all you need to know is that it has an IP address 192.168.X.XXX that you need to connect to it in order to get data.

for whatever reason the company that makes it just hasnt updated the UI or interface since 2005 because this thing does NOT work on modern browsers.

Significance Bats are known reservoir hosts of highly pathogenic viruses such as Marburg, Ebola, and Nipah and are thought to be the origin of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the causative agent of the COVID-19 pandemic. To understand how bat cells interact with SARS-CoV-2, we have infected bat iPS cells and fibroblasts with the virus. While bat iPS cells can replicate the virus, though less efficiently than human ES cells, infection of fibroblasts is abortive: Infected cells replicate viral RNA but do not produce progeny virus. We find that the innate antiviral defense is already preactivated in bat cells compared to human cells, suggesting that the innate immune system may contribute to bats' tolerance to viral infections.

Abstract Bats are tolerant to highly pathogenic viruses such as Marburg, Ebola, and Nipah, suggesting the presence of a unique immune tolerance toward viral infection. Here, we compared severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection of human and bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum) pluripotent cells and fibroblasts. Since bat cells do not express an angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor that allows virus infection, we transduced the human ACE2 (hA) receptor into the cells and found that transduced cells can be infected with SARS-CoV-2. Compared to human embryonic stem cells-hA, infected bat induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs)-hA produced about a 100-fold lower level of infectious virus and displayed lower toxicity. In contrast, bat embryonic fibroblast-hA produced no infectious virus while being infectable and synthesizing viral RNA and proteins, suggesting abortive infection. Indeed, electron microscopy failed to detect virus-like particles in infected bat fibroblasts in contrast to bat iPSCs or human cells, consistent with the latter producing infectious viruses. This suggests that bat somatic but not pluripotent cells have an effective mechanism to control virus replication. Consistent with previous results by others, we find that bat cells have a constitutively activated innate immune system, which might limit SARS-CoV-2 infection compared to human cells.

Festival of Lights - 1.28" Round TFT display 🔵🎉

To wrap up this year, we're doing 8 days of light-filled designs. We started with the Sparkle Motion Mini

which can drive thousands of shimmering RGB LEDs. Then, we did the Sparkle Motion stick, a USB-pluggable version. Today, we're taking a detour into some very old designs we've been meaning to do for years! Starting with this 1.28" round TFT display that has 240x240 shiny IPS pixels. We have a round outline, two mounting holes, breakout pads for all the control and power pins, plus an EYESPI connector

Not Taekook related, but I was thinking a lot about the whole Min Heejin and HYBE drama, particularly the stories about the shaman and BTS, the leaking of private/personal information about idols (possibly Garam, Youngseo and others), also the allegedly trying to snare V. All this makes me wonder if MHJ had a hand in V's scandal with Jennie. It would be good to get your thoughts on it all.

This is all so seriously messed up. I think there is faults on both side but also some valid points too.

I do think Heejin has some valid points about the visual concepts being used by other HYBE artists, although technically, MHJ doesn't own any of the IP she created with ADOR. I know a little about IP and Copyright there are 4 types...

Creator / 1st Owner - where the creator is also the owner of the product, for example: The author and first owner of copyright in a sound recording is the record producer. The author and first owner of the copyright in a broadcast is the broadcaster. The author and first owner of the copyright in a published edition is the publisher.

Works created for an employer - (this will apply to MHJ) Where a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work, or a film, is made by an employee in the course of his employment, his employer is the first owner of any copyright in the work (subject to any agreement to the contrary).

Commissioned works - This is like when HYBE commissions a producer/writer to create something, the rights belong to the company/person who creates the work (say Andrew Watt) not the commisioner (HYBE)

Joint Author/Co-Written - Joint ownership might arise, for example, if a person was commissioned to create a website together with one of the company’s employees. It is likely that both the person being commissioned and the company would be joint first owners of copyright in the website. For co-written songs the songwriters share ownership.

So unless MHJ had a special contract that gave her special rights over something, she has no control over what she creates as it BELONGS to HYBE, that includes NewJeans, the concepts and other IP.

It's clear HYBE has the evidence to show there is something underhand going on, and has probably had evidence for weeks. They probably discovered the plot because of the copying on files by that VP at ADOR. Also why would anyone make plan to takeover a company for the hell of it... it doesn't make sense.

Is it unfair that MHJ has a clause stopping her from working in the industry for a period of time if she leaves HYBE/ADOR... NO, these are common place in businesses, plus she negogiated and signed her contract... unless she didn't do the proper due diliegence.

The MHJ press conference was a masterful display of media play/manipulation. She deliberately wore clothes that made her look dishevelled, also the cap adequately hide the fact that she never actually shed a tear once in the whole 2 hours and her make up helped with this impression, by making her cheeks look wet from tears.

But obviously not true and MHJ and co are clearly dropping fake stories to tarnish everyone.

I certainly believe (after that news conference where she slandered nearly every HYBE group) that this woman leaked private and confidential information about trainees and idols.

Her and Bang PD were not close... so which CEO hired her in 2019, I'll give you one guess and his name is in this sentence... so he must have spent time with her and cultivated a working relationship at BIGHIT Entertainment prior to HYBE forming... MHJ was VERY selective in of which chats to share with the press... I expect Dispatch to expose more her conversations with BPD, which will paint things in a different light.

MHJ lied in her press conference... she took, with HYBE's blessing, Source Music trainees, staff and other resources to form NewJeans and ADOR... with HYBE's money.

HYBE CEO is dirt bag who likes vaginas... simply because he oversaw video game that was quite rude. It's not like he designed it himself, he simply oversaw the project, plus unfortunately that's a big thing in the Video Game world... it can be very msygonistic.

I do think she might have had a hand in the Garam scandal and the leaking of Youngseo, members of two groups she saw (in her own words) as threat to NEWJEANS and her vision.

However, I don't think she had anything to do with Taennie or JK's fake video, it's clear (at least for Taennie), that YG was heavily involved and possibly HYBE too.

Now to the recent stuff that's currently be "leak" and stuff that might come out in the next few weeks... I think her involvement might be more logical.

What I think will happen

I think within the next month HYBE via a shareholders meeting with ousts the ADOR board and replace it with their own board and subsequently remove MHJ from her pssost.

ADOR's new CEO will be another woman from within the company

From what I understand, MHJ might have a problematic history with young people... I'm sure if she does it will come out.

There will be a trial of some kind and MHJ and co will be found guilty in someway

I think HYBE in general will take more control (at least at board level) of every sub-label over the next year, to strengthen its position but also but to improve coordination between labels to stop classes that have occured in the past.

NewJeans won't be leaving ADOR/HYBE, mostly because HYBE owns the brand of NJs and their concepts, but also it's be intimated that NJs would have to pay hefty reparations for said IP and to be released from their contract. I suspect post MHJ HYBE will sweeten the NJ's current deal with additional stuff.

Final thoughts

It's a mess, but within a few weeks/months it'll all be partly resolved to a certain extent.

I suspect this week HYBE through outlets like Dispatch will leak even more of the incriminating shit it has on MHJ and her co-conspiritors.

HYBE will remove the current board of directors at ADOR and then remove MHJ and he co-conspiritors.

I suspect we'll also get some expose about her time at SM that isn't pretty and adds more fuel to the fire and may show she has a track record of causing trouble.

I also suspect that when MHJ tries to sell her shares she'll end up having to sell them back to HYBE because I they will make it difficult for her to sell it to anyone else.

I predict NewJeans will have new comeback post MHJ that's even more successful than before.
