HOLY HELLO, friends and followers! It's once again that time, time for...

SKETCHY SATURDAY!

This week, we're bringing back one of my favorite types of prompt-- the Quote prompt!

This one is pretty simple, but I still gotta lay down the rules. Follow me past the read-more if you're wanting to participate this week!

This week is all about the dialog-- requesters may select a character and a quote to send in, after which I'll do the rest. If you're an old hand at this event, this is exactly the same as previous quotation prompts, just with an updated quote list.... buuuuut you can still validate my time spent writing the guidelines every week by reading them anyway XD

To send a VALID request for this week's Sketchy Saturday, send an ASK to my ASKBOX containing the following:

The CHARACTER you'd like sketched ---- Canon? Yep! OC? Hell yes! Everybody's welcome so long as they're from the Fallout Universe! ---- One character per ask ---- Sending an OC? Send your request ask FIRST, and THEN send reference info to my Tumblr IM ---- Don't have a reference image? Text description is fine! Going from text lets me flex my character design muscles!

Day 13: Moon

“Come on, do it!”

Twilight glared at Wild as best he could while not having a Hylian face.

“You know you wanna.”

Okay, yes he did want to. But be that as it may, he was not going to do it just because Wild told him to. He had standards.

“Dooooooo eeeeeeeeeet!”

Twilight huffed and turned his head away from the champion. He is not a dog that does tricks on command.

Wild sat back onto his heels and folded his hands into his lap. He looked out over the cliff they sat on, the full moon nearing its zenith for the night.

“Would it help if I did it with you?”

No it would not help, Wild did not have the vocal range as a Hylian to do it properly, although that never stopped him from trying. Twilight let out a growl that would have been a grumble in his other shape.

“Awooooooooo,” Wild softly howled.

Twilight could feel the need rise in his throat. That little shit. Just because he could didn’t mean he would.

Wild shuffled closer and leaned against Twilight’s furry body. His eyes were wide and his mouth was pouting.

“Pleeeeeeease?”

Sigh. The things he does for his cub.

He raised his head and let the wolf take over, a howl rising from his chest to his throat and out his mouth at the glorious moon in the sky.

It had been so long since he’d got to sing.

He felt Wild wrap his arms around him, adding his own voice to the song.

The wolf and his cub howled together, in honour of the wilderness that embraced them both, and in praise of the shining moon in all its ethereal beauty.

As the song subsided, Wild rested his head against Twilight’s neck.

“I really needed that. Thanks.”

Twilight rested his muzzle on Wild’s head.

So did he.
