The Humans of the Lost Light Cat Shelter AU

Rung: Cat behavior specialist who takes in cats that nobody else would. He does his best to rehabilitate the cats for normal homes, but things don’t often go his way. Owner of the Lost Light Cat Shelter.

Ravage: A college student who needs volunteer hours to graduate. They like to be broody and edgy, but unfortunately that attitude doesnt last very long at the shelter. Emo.

Thunderclash: The shelter’s number one benefactor and Rodimus’s number one enemy. General kindhearted guy.

Prowl: head of Iacon Animal Control. Doesn’t like outdoor and feral cats and dedicates himself to making sure the biodiversity is maintained. Seems like a hardass but is just a really intense nature buff.

Orion Pax: works for animal control and manages placement of animals into homes and shelters. Holds onto hope for animals that others want to put down.

Pharma: Ratchet’s old owner who was a highly respected surgeon. Died of old age, causing Ratchet to be surrendered to the shelter.

Well Transformers Prime, Transformers 1986 and IDW comics are having the first place that’s for sure

And then the second place is kind of shared by Fall of Cybertron, Exodus, Prime wars trilogy, Robots in disguise(2001) and Transformers One.

The third place goes to G1, Animated, Earthspark, Armada, War for Cybertron Netflix series, Aligned Robots in disguise, Bumblebee, Rise of the Beasts and Cyberverse because I only liked some little parts of them.

And then I also saw some of the Bay movies, Victory and Headmasters and didn’t like them at all.

Separate first place for J-Decker. It is not exactly Transformers but it is a show about giant robots and I loved it

Had an archiving exam today so naturally I thought about Orion Pax and interfacing in the archives. Idk if the people who this post reaches are familiar with how archives look, but I have been to multiple and let me say.

While there's an opportunity to interface, because they're huge, and largely empty, Orion Pax would never. The transfluid could ruin the precious documents!

Megatron would try to initiate and he'd be like nope not in the archives, think of the DOCUMENTS. Or do you want to potentially explain to the restoration group how TRANSFLUIDS got on the documents?!?!

So, wait, mnemosurgery addiction is an addiction to performing mnemosurgery? I've heard of it before but i always assumed bots got addicted to receiving it

Yeah!! Typically in canon, a mnemosurgery addiction is the mnemosurgeon's addiction to performing it, to the point it kills many (this was a big part of Chromedome's character and one of the things we knew early with him) because there's a bit of inherent risk with mnemosurgery (something about the process of linking minds together like that). The Fatal Injection is talked about a decent bit, and we very nearly see this happen to Chromedome when he's doing it with Dominus / The Pet in the end of MTMTE (this big whole thing)

But the idea of a character being addicted to receiving mnemosurgery??? Fascinating. Fascinating fascinating dynamics and scenes there. Especially considering mnemosurgery's history in idwg1, and it's connection with the autobots. Giving me ideas.

Ngl the style for my lads here are very much inspired by how Zeropro illustrates their Trine Bois, they are so hekin great. My flavor is still a bit sharp comparatively, but the absorption is certainly beginning lmao. I even had the gaslight gatekeep Girlboss thing in my head from a doodle page they did XD

Uhhh spoilers for Subnautica ig

So the moment i let my mind wander, I get hit with this kind of ideas. Why Subnautica of all things? BECAUSE I LOVE THAT GAME AND THE REAPER LEVIATHAN AND SEE EMPEROR FIT PERFECTLY-

Ok, so the idea of a beastformers that turn into Subnautica fauna (and i guess flora as well, thank you Botanica from Beast Mashines for existing), was spinning around inside my head for quite some time now - JUST YOU WAIT, I WILL DRAW THEM, so many OCs to make, hopefuly this summer break.

UNICRON- my initial thought was just Reaper Leviathan: the mandibles on his back instead of wings, something similar to Tarantulas, mmm yes. Both he and Earth have four eyes only because both reaper and see empress four of them. All of them are aliens and have natural glowing body parts, so why not, my brain just said let's go crazy and didn't wait for an answers besides WE NEED MORE TRANSFORMERS WITH 4 EYES.

But then i rememberd that there's a bigger fish- THE SEA DRAGON. He dose have these matching spikes on his body, and the back appendages? tentacles? Are similar to Sea Emperors and is living in the deepest parts on the map. However, Sea Empress os the biggest alive creature in game (for aby fellow Subnautica nerds, o know that Gargantuan Leviathan i WAAAY bigger, but his design is eh, probably not the best here, maybe the colar thiengies could be like a cape?). But then i hit me- UNICRON CAN BE A REAPER AND SEA DRAGON HYBRID! It basicly gives me the ability to put all the parts of both fishes that match Unicrons og body the best and a "logical" explenation as to why he would be always bigger than Earth. With hybrids, sometimes they are bigger than parental species, so as hybrid he could be unnaturaly bigger, and with Sea Dragon parts he can live in the deepest game bioms.

EARTH- the Sea Emperor because yes. Also In game it's te Sea Empress babies that produce enzyme 42, the only thing that managed to destroy the deadly bacteria (GREEN BACTERIA, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS GREEN? TOX-EN) and save/give life to the entire planet again, and she is a curious, young, litle thing like the hatchlings; i'm guessing that's why she's so small in authors drawing. She's a baby

(huh now that i'm thinking about it, maybe Primus should be Sea Emperor, Unicron just a Reaper and Earth a Sea Dragon, after all wild fires are a recurring events...version 2 ig?)

I really wanted to have it done by the end of may, but uhh i'm working on some other thing, that was suposed to be just a sketch, and instead it just grew bigger, and my brain is just demanding full render XD And it will now take even more time despite it being almost finished, because the moment i discovered tha faster and easier method for shading and lightning throu clipping masks, i knew I'd use it there, so XD But hey at least i know it'll look better now ( ≖‿ ≖ )

tbh, I don't really know anything about her asides from the stuff that I read on her wiki / Birth of Authority from Wish document and stuff that people in the fandom have said about her, so idk how accurate this would be to her lol but I think I have a gist for what her deal is XD

For Capella, I was going for a kind of butcher aesthetic, but with some touches of demon / dragon elements because iirc she transforms into a dragon at some point (also I think she already has a demonic vibe to her + just... how she is in general), and she 'butchers' people's bodies into grotesque shit. That's also the reason why her weapons are meat cleavers, to go with the whole 'butcher' theme. I also wanted to have a sort of clashing of cutesy / risqué elements in her outfit to go with the contrast of her appearance versus her personality, hence the ruffles + bows in her outfit paired with the latex top, gloves, and pencil skirt. I had no idea what to do with her at first, because her outfit in canon is literally just. A bikini. And some other shit. Aside from a color scheme I had no real 'theme' to go off of, just scantily clad outfit. I was at first gonna go for something like a mad nurse / surgeon vibe cause of how she alters people, but being a butcher just fits so much better for her and goes with her vibes really well. Also I think she's been called 'meat woman' in the LN or WN before so it makes sense lol XD

The authority from a wish document basically says that she wants to be loved by everyone and believes that people only love someone's appearance / looks are all that matter, so she wants to make everyone else around her look disgusting so that they only love her, and says her 'wish' is to turn others into something revolting, so that's what she probably wished for, giving her the ability to transform herself and others into whatever she wants.

very very very long tangent about the li'l targetmasters for lore purposes:

We know the three that were partnered with Sureshot, Pointblank, and Crosshairs were a bit late to the "escape the Cybertronians" trend, yeah? They only left and abandoned the partnership because Crosshairs' misshandling of Pinpointer that left him nearly dead and disfigured-- almost paralyzed due to Crosshairs.

Well, that was just the breaking point. Their abandonment stems from deeper problems.

Spoilsport was subjected to years of abuse, narcissism, and belittlement at the hands of Sureshot. He was butting heads with the Autobot every day, eventually reciprocating the abuse and... they were horrible for and to each other. The war damaged Sureshot's sense of self, leading him down a dark, dark path. Sureshot festered in his desire to be the best, his ego getting in the way of safety and costing Spoilsport his own well-being. Spoilsport was a good leader and mentor to his fellow li'l Targetmasters, but he was growing weary and angry, constantly arguing and becoming more violent with Sureshot just to remain visible as a person in his bonded's eyes.

Peacemaker was the shoulder to cry on, the ear to listen, the words of advice and wisdom. Pointblank-- bless his spark-- was suffering in war. He was supposed to be the fearless leader of their team, and he did a fantastic job. He was the calm eye of the storm, the person whom Crosshairs and Sureshot could rely on. But who could Pointblank rely on? Peacemaker. Their bond turned co-dependent, and Pointblank was running on fumes. Peacemaker did his best to keep his bonded hopeful and happy, but to constantly be that person is draining-- Peacemaker was barely getting by, and he was filled with guilt. Both he and Pointblank were, really. It was sad.

Pinpointer, admittedly, had the healthiest relationship with his bonded-- they loved each other. They deeply cared for and understood one another. Crosshairs did his best to take care of Pinpointer, and Pin the same. The night Pinpointer exploded was terrible, the outcome of many mistakes and failures. No energon, no sleep, surrounded by Decepticons out for blood, head filled with angry arguments and toxicity-- it was a recipe for disaster, and while Crosshairs tried to trigger an injured, starving Pin, he blew up, destroying all that was close, permanently disfiguring Crosshairs' face.

Spoilsport saw the destruction done to Pinpointer and took his chance to free himself and his fellow Targetmasters from the oppressive Cybertronians-- Peacemaker tried to stay, but Spoilsport forced him to take Pin and run.

They escaped, leaving Crosshairs, Pointblank, and Sureshot alone.

It would take years and years for the li'l Targetmasters to heal from the trauma, to be the people they were supposed to be.

Pinpointer would luckily make an outstanding recovery, but he'd never be able to transform due to the kibble being unsalvageable; to balance, he has to walk with a cane. He would spend his days tending to the refugess of planet Master, all while wondering what became of his once beloved.

Peacemaker and Spoilsport would need years and years of therapy to unravel the damage done to them. Because I am nice sometimes, I say they do eventually get better- they have a much better support system and no longer have to deal with the fucking buuuuulllllshiiiiiit their partners put them through. Spoilsport takes up a leadership position while Peacemaker goes off to a quiet place on planet Master-- probably managing a farm or something.

Also yes!! I support Peacemaker getting a farm, he deserves to live out a stardew valley cottage core fantasy 😌😌😌 to compensate for the war
