Over the years, I've discovered a pattern in fandoms. As a fandom grows larger, there are certain benchmarks it must undergo in its lifetime. These benchmarks tend to include the following (in order of growth): fan art, memes, vine compilations, animations/animatics, and finally M.A.P.s (multi-animator projects).
So I can now say, without any doubt, Midst is now a real fandom! The video only contains spoilers for Season 1, with the one exception being the names of Saskia's dogs (Bartimaeus and Lloyd) which is first brought up in Season 2. This is my first time making a vine compilation, so it also serves as an experiment using new video software. I hope you enjoy!
Spent two hours sewing squares together and so far I'm happy with my results. The two right panels will be the front of the cardigan and the leftmost one will be a sleeve.
I still have the back and one sleeve to stitch together (probably tomorrow night). Then sewing the panels into clothing-shaped pieces and adding trim. And the worst task: weaving in ends.
I realized this will get done in time for Spooky Season, which was an accident I'm really happy with
BREAKING NEWS: Hermitcraft Takes Over Mario Cart Wii
Suspicious reports of hermits appearing in Posters and hitting pedestrians with cars.
In this report Bowser is seen on a motorcycle looking on mortified at the sight before him. Three Hermits are displayed before him. It appears to be -from left to right- a StressMonster101, a Bdoubleo100, and an xBCrafted… the next photo might shock you even more.
Bowser is here with us again, only this time, it appears, xB is about to absolutely deSTROY BOWSER. GET FUCKING RECKED. o7 you will be missed. Good job xB.
Here's my second dragon! Redrawn not quite like the original but reworked to fit my current style (and with a much more sane and reasonable name/concept)!
These are called Sweetheart Dragons, because when they close their wings, it looks like the shape of a heart! They also mate for life and like giving gifts to decorate their nests with. They're roughly the size of kestrels and they make for excellent travel companions!
Art for today. So, I remembered that I don’t have to do drawing exercises if I don’t want to, and instead I just doodled some loose ideas for the character I’m going to play in a Zelda-themed dnd campaign. He’s a picori, and I want to be able to draw him.
I started with some of his belongings/clothes. He’s a wizard and a scholar, so he’s probably gonna wear glasses and carry a book bag and wear a cloak. I drew all of those, then tried to draw a book and did okay, then decided to practice drawing picori faces, cause I want to be able to draw expressions and figure out how picoris’ hats work. I especially like the one that’s squinting with a squashy hat, because it seems like she just got woken up and is trying to see who’s made a loud noise.
The light reflecting off the pencil makes it hard to see, but I thought I did her eyes very well.
I stumbled upon this OC redraw I did about a year ago. These guys have their own story now, but they were originally My Hero Academia Fan Kids! These are their MHA forms.
Tomomi was Deku and Ochako’s Kid (obviously), Takahiro was Bakugou and Kirishima’s kid, and Akira and Momoka were Todoroki and Momo’s kids.
Izumi was an interesting one because she was Monoma’s kid. Not the product of any specific ship, but I thought it would be funny to have a child of the guy constantly negging class 1A be a part of a class with a bunch of 1A alumni’s kids. (She and Tomomi were rivals of course, though back then it was kind of one sided.)
They didn’t go to UA, but to a special high school for kids with overpowered quirks meant to teach kids how to control their Quirks and live normal lives. And of course the plot was about Tomomi and the rest of the hero kids finding their identities beyond who their parents are.
They’ve since been redesigned and given a new story, but they’re still pretty cute don’t you think?
I hope I can talk about my OC’s more! I love them a lot!
I like to think that after the ‘my husband’ scene in the book, Achilles was absolutely insufferable about it, calling Patroclus his husband whenever he could and really playing up the whole married woman thing while they were there lmao
