He can either physically go, as the Ghost General, or his soul or memories get sent back. I used to be a doula and childbirth educator, so a some of my other fics in other fandoms have realistic birth scenes, including "Broken rules" in the rulesverse in the Check please fandom, which involves a trans character going through an unwanted pregnancy for complex reasons but having as supported and untraumatic a birth as was possible under the circumstances, and Symbolon in doctor who, which was written like 14 years ago so has a lot more about my birth/parenting feels and a lot less about my gender feels and has a viewpoint character learning to become a midwife and multiple viewpoint characters giving birth. I don't think things through (I never get time) by 11moons - KevAaron, wholesome twinyards, one long delicious oneshot. I think it's quite new, I found it last night and inhaled it in one sitting.

you're losing me. by Ateiluj - It's a relationship breakdown fic, very angsty BUT there's a happy ending for KevAaron, so no fear! I love everything about it: the characterisation is spot on, the pacing is amazing, the plot is gripping, I can't find a single fault. 75k+ or something, read it in one night.

crashing into you by ratbandaid - Just a classic KevAaron oneshot, very entertaining. Loved every minute.

whitewater by Anonymous - SEVERELY underrated, I can't believe how few comments this has. It's one of my favourite fics, although it is *EXTREMELY* angsty—don't ignore the tags because there are a lot of potential triggers. The KevAaron is very slight in this, because it's more an Aaron-centric oneshot of a self-destructive spiral that gets worse and worse and worse. Angst with a happy ending, though!

Shared Smoke on the Backyard Patio by 11moons - Another fantastic Aaron study with lots of Kevin <3 a fic I keep coming back to.

Quiet by SparklingDragonTears - I love those slice of life moments between the twins. This is one of them <3

talkin too much (or I don't say enough) by 11moons - this is the third fic of theirs in this list and that's because everything they write is solid gold. Another fantastic Aaron study with bonus Andrew.

one more or one less, nobody's worried by sistercacophony - My skincare routine? Why, it's Aaron angst with lots of Twinyard drama and wholesomeness. Another great fic about Aaron's trauma, though ofc, mind the tags.

a guard dog there just for her by milfairy - I love milfairy's whole Trans Aaron universe, but this one is definitely my favourite. It's also the first in the series I think?? It's fantastic, with lots of Twinyard angst and love.

Medical Misunderstanding by CamilleDuDemon - Another author I highly recommend for their amazing Twinyards fics. This one is about Aaron being a good brother to Andrew.

You look beautiful, but you don't look fine by orphan_account - I love, love sickfics, but it's very rare to come across an expertly written one. This is probably one of the best sickfics I've read in the aftg fandom. It's definitely one of the best Aaron-centric sickfics out there.

The End of the World as We Know It (But Not Really) by kiraisstillhere - Unfortunately this is incomplete, but it's a really interesting fic that starts with Aaron relapsing and Matt finding him. I'm always down to read anything that explores their addictions.

friends of friends by likearecord - I didn't know I'd even need to read an Aaron/Allison fic, but omg this one convinced me. They'd work SO well if they could both stop being so pissy for five minutes. A very enjoyable read!!

Okay, review time!! If you are one of the oddballs who thinks you cant be critical of something you love I suggest you stop reading now before I ruffle your feathers. Iron flame, second in the empyrean series. I am gonna start with what I was not a fan of and then go into the shit I adored.

1) what in the actual fuck was the pacing of this book?? I can tell you what, it was non existent. There was none. Where I thought there was a lot of filler in the last book there was none in this one. We got snap shots of conversations and then *boom* more plot flew at you. The timeline of this book greatly suffered for it i think bc we end only a couple weeks, if that, after threshing, which happens sometimes in October. This book was actually so wild with times.

2) while it was a spectacular cliff hanger, xaden becoming venin pisses me off. Especially if Rebecca yarros isnt going to have him tell violet. Like if that small tid bit of a conversation we got wasnt him telling vi that he was venin then the entire romantic conflict of this book was rendered pointless and their going to be having the same fucking fight for the rest of the series and at rhat point I give up.

3) I understand that the revolution is trying to take down basgaith and make the world better or whatever the fuck but can someone actually formulate a real plan for me?? Because I feel like their mission is just, giving violet and xaden something to be pissed at each other about.

4) the entirety of cats character. I get that she was set up as a spin on the typical jealous ex. Like having her be bitter about xaden picking violet over her but OH WAIT it wasnt actually about the man it was about the crown, oohh not like other girls. Im a writer too I see the point. I dont care. I think it was trashy. If you wanted her to be a bitter spiteful ex then have her be a bitter spiteful ex, the whole crown thing was shallow.

OKAY haters your time is up now onto the shit that made my heart hurt with joy and sadness

1) xadens arc in this book. I really liked that he went from "transparency is never gonna happen" to losing his fucking mind over violet and giving her everything. I love feral men and he qualifies. I think his arc was really well done and i liked it.

2) I appericiate that violet stuck to her guns for this book. She wouldnt let xaden off without a fight and I loved that. She made him bow and scrape and I was eating it up. It was spectacular.

3) the throne room scene. Violet on the throne. "Im making a temporary point not a lasting vow of maschocism" xaden being feral.

4) that gets its own point actually, just xaden being completely feral this entire book healed a part of my soul.

5) andarna's little speech at the end where she was like "I waited for you violet" made me ugly cry. That was just so hopelessly good I loved it. Andarna in general heals my heart but that part was just *chefs kiss*

6) tarin being completely and utterly ready to eat people this entire book. Just, at every turn "I want lunch their pissing me off " was spectacular

7) every scene their squad was in. Rihannon, violet, sawyer and ridoc are my roman empire. Their bond is so amazing. The fact that they launched a rescue mission for violet. Rihannon being ready to kill xaden at every turn. Ridoc being so platonically and adorably in love with violet. Just- augh happy cries happy cries. I love it all. Their so special tbh.

8) I love xaden actually, just, the whole book every scene hes in lives in my brain.

9) I liked that we saw a small bit of violet being feral this book too. I hope that we get more of that in future books. I want more of violet losing her fucking mind. Hot, badass women covered in blood

10) Liam. Fucking Liam. When violet was kidnapped and Liam was there. Now, do I logically understand that he was a hallucination, yes, do i care?? Thank you for letting me rant :) I am also entirely aware that not all of these are considered to be unpopular opinions!

I actually love the lawsuit arc and to this day it is one of my favorite fic plots to read as long as their is a good conclusion and they come back together as a family.

I have been done with Maddie constantly crying on 9-1-1 calls for several seasons now, its just getting old and very predictable.

Hen and Chim should not have forgiven Tommy and it should have been discussed how his racism and sexism hurt them both. A conversation between Chim and Maddie about his early years at the 118 with Tommy as one of his bullies would have been amazing.

Karen deserves to be a badass within her own right!!!

I don't consider Hen, Buck, and Eddie's "cheating" to be canon. None of it fits into the characters. Same goes for Athena hitting/ being down right mean to her kids (i.e., Harry)

2) honestly, anon, i’m tired of madney getting nde’s every season (i’m tired of nde’s in general tbh bc i miss s1-4 era of like bad injuries happening but nothing kukoo bananas like the jonah thing in s5 or the kidnapping plot in s8 even though i did enjoy ep 10 ahsgsgsg) so i get it- it feels like that’s jlh’s schtick to them and they never let her do anything else which is a shame bc she’s SUCH AN AMAZING ACTRESS LIKE ALL OF THEM ARE PLEASE GIVE THESE PEOPLE MORE RANGE

3) i actually don’t think they have forgiven tommy because we’ve seen nothing in canon to actually imply that- since he came back in s7 their interactions have been limited, hen never kept in contact w him, chimney only called him once for a favor in s2 and then didn’t invite him to his wedding, henren confronted tommy about his intentions w buck in a deleted scene from 709 that did NOT them being pro tommy… i feel like tim was trying to brush it under the rug without actually acknowledging it but in doing so he just basically said that the begins episodes didn’t actually matter bc “he was closeted uwu 🥺” (as if that’s an excuse) i also would have loved for them to have actually utilized that w madney or henren more onscreen- especially after the breakup in ep 6 because it would have helped buck SO MUCH more mentally in processing the breakup if hen and chim were like “we didn’t want to spoil your first queer relationship, but he’s not and never has been a good guy” and explained what happened…. but that would mean that tim would have to acknowledge that he basically retconned and ignored racism for an entire year and he’s never gonna do that bc that just makes him look bad 💀

5) so i actually have complicated feelings on the buck and eddie of it all; i think what happened with lucy wasn’t cheating bc buck did not initiate it, but his mistake was in not immediately telling taylor. with eddie…. i’ve been in kim’s shoes before (it’s a long story) so that one is harder for me to justify, BUT, i don’t genuinely think eddie had feelings for kim or anything like that- he was leading her on in a way that implied to her that he did (and eventually to marisol chris and buck too) but it’s hard for me to fully get behind the whole “cheater” label just because he technically never did anything to constitute cheating; it wasn’t physical, and it wasn’t emotional beyond wanting to get closure over shannon, but unfortunately they did go on multiple outings that could be considered “dates” so even if he intended it or not… he still on a technicality is a cheater….

hen however…. that one was out of left field and honestly felt so ooc even in s1, but it’s literally the only case of infidelity on this show that i can’t find any way to explain away- and i hate it so much bc they literally spent half the first season villainizing a black queer woman bc she was a cheater, BUT i do think she’s since made up for it and actually had some form of character development from it (other than the buck and eddie situations that were just plot devices for dramatic arcs)

as for the athena of it all; i have a love hate relationship w athena bc like half the time i love athena but other times she’s such a COP that it just has me going :/ i do however think it fits her character especially considering she’s a child of a souther baptist family (i say as the child of a southern baptist family) who still has some outdated ideas on parenting that aren’t helped by the fact that she is a cop

Chapter 1:

“Extermination Day is canceled!”

It’s the first thing you hear emerging from the cellar under the apartment building where you and other sinners hunkered down on Exterminations Day since your arrival to Hell two years ago.

“What?” You ask, processing the news.

Your neighbors are just as confused coming up behind you. Mr. Marion, an amphibian demon stops someone passing by to ask what’s going on.

“Extermination Day is canceled, Lucifer’s daughter kicked angelic ass! They flew back to heaven with their tales between their legs!!”

Oh. Really?

Though the lack of carnage on the street seems to confirm that. Still, you walk over to the electronic store around the block to be sure and...

News666 is providing special coverage of what took place while you and your neighbor’s took cover. A growing group of demons already gathers in front of the screens featuring Carly or Harley defending her Hotel against hordes of angels. That’s, wow, that’s quite amazing. The scene then cuts to a static image of the Radio Demon doing not so well against one of the more powerful looking angels, Katie talks about that for a bit before the coverage is switched to a tiny one eyed demon. The crowd chuckles and awws as she fumbles through her interview. After getting the general gist of the current situation you hurry over to check on the shop, more immediately concerned about that than the power vacuum left the news anchors kept going on about. You hope your business was left intact, unlike last year.

Jo, is already waiting at the front of the shop leaning against the delivery van.

“Guess that deal with the cannibals is really working out, huh?” The imp says, pointing a thumb toward the store which was, in fact, left intact.

You chuckle, “Guess so. Glad you’re okay Jo.” You answer and proceed to mess his pale locks. “And how many times have I told it's not a 'deal'?"

"Hey!" He swats your hand away.

"Seems like little Ms. Morningstar saved our butts this time too, so double the win.”

"Oh man, yeah she was so badass!"

“Are you guys open today?” A mummified demon girl asks, interrupting your convo. There's more people behind her. You suppose now that they won’t be immediately double killed, people are really eager to celebrate.

You quirk an eyebrow at Jo. “You up for it, kid?”

“I don’t know, last time we took the day off after an Extermination… ” He says, inspecting his claws.

“I’ll pay you double.”

“Let me just park the van in the back.”

Great! You turn to your loyal customers. “Give us a few minutes, we should be opening soon!”

That day’s earnings were record high. You think to pay Rosie a visit to thank her for the Pie Shop’s promised protection once the dust settles and her cannibals regroup.

Sometimes it surprised you to think that life in Hell was not as bad as it used to be when you first arrived. You just had to adapt.

So adapt you did. 'Stay calm, but observant and sharp' your grandmother used to say. Advice you never took too seriously in life but here, things were different.

But also the same.

A strict class hierarchy existed, with Overlords and Royalty at the very top and the rest left to suffer or get by as best they could and of course this life was meant to suck, but still… some people truly weren't that bad.

There are some demons who won’t attack or take advantage of you—not right away, at least and that meant something when this was meant to be the end of the road for everyone here. Others kept to themselves, appearing to get by just fine for the most part. You were one of those, and it had worked out for you so far. Even got a little lucky, got your business going and everything without having to step on any necks!

At night, you sometimes wondered if things could have been different in life, had you made different choices.

Been less stupid.

But what’s the use of regret, all that remains before you is the present and the hellfire of eternity before you. Harlot’s or whatever her name is was definitely delusional, it’s what you thought when news of her Hotel spread. It’s what you still think even now after its Grand Reopening.

After the fanfare came and went, things in hell more or less remained the same, at least on the surface, but a peculiar air of uncertainty and edge remained. Even the Turf War that usually ensued Extermination Day ended swiftly with most territories staying with the same boundaries from the days before.

That was his assessment when walking around in Pentagram CIty for the first time since. The tense corners of his mouth like sharp daggers still pointed upward, even with the slowly healing wound on his torso.

Yet Alastor was pleased to learn his reputation remained mostly intact despite the… unfortunate outcome of his encounter with Adam. After all, not many could claim survival against the leader of the Exorcists. And if there were any doubts of his abilities, at least other demons were smart enough not to voice them directly to his face. The same vermin from before still showed him the same respect, the day they stopped doing that will be the day he'll worry.

His thoughts are suddenly interrupted by the sight of a line going around the corner.

Oh, This is new. It had been a while since he strolled through this part of the city.

Humming to himself he followed it, thinking it might be a new entertainment club or something equally—but then a sweet savory smell hit him.

It was a Pie Shop of all things!

"Apothecary Pie Shop" The sign read. Oh what a curious name for a business that was.

His back straightens, twirling his mic propmting the crowd make way but before he can set foot on the shop’s stairs, a male imp bursts out shouting at the top of his lungs:

“Folks, we’re all out of pies!” The people already gathered curse at him, some even throw trash at the poor soul. “Oh fuck you too—!” He says dodging an empty glass bottle before his eyes finally land on Alastor. “Oh shiiit!”

“Why hello there!” He greets, “I was just strolling around the neighborhood when I came upon your fine establishment. I had never seen it before so I thought I would take a look. Seems I was a bit late though.”

“No, no… I think we might still have some p-pies left for you… S-sir.” The poor imp fumbles with the doorknob behind him, hastily trying to get back inside. His display of deference puts Alastor in a magnanimous mood.

“Oh that’s quite alright, young man. No need, I’ll just be sure to stop by some other time. Bye now!” He says waving as he continues on his way.

Good to know some businesses still know how to provide good service even in Hell!

Going to Cannibal Town always makes you nervous, well aware you are one of the few allowed to come and leave in one piece as promised by Rosie herself. Jo had offered to come with you, but you decided it would be best if he didn’t. Still the hungry stares you got only made you grip the van’s steering wheel tighter. The town reminded you of the suburb you moved into the last year you were alive, all order and niceties hiding something dark underneath.

Pulling up, you take out the pies as quickly as possible, in-and-out is what you aim for. You’re halfway up the path to her shop when Rosie spots you pushing the loaded utility cart.

“Oh, but if it isn't Nuria!” She calls from the porch where she's having afternoon tea with fellow company.

You wave, doing your best to show a genuine smile. “Mrs. Rosie! How do you do this hellish afternoon?”

She excuses herself from the table to come closer, her white serrated teeth framed by black lips tilt upward in a radiant smile. “Very happy to see you safe and sound after everything that has occurred, my dear!”

Your perfect opening, “Well, we have your people to thank for that, they were all over the News. Very brave and heroic.”

“Thank you for saying so, dear. They are a sturdy bunch for sure, though I must admit we did incur losses.” She says, procuring a fan to dry the tears at the corners of her eyes. "I'm just happy their sacrifice was not in vain."

And now you feel awful for bringing it up at all. “I- I’m sorry, I didn't… What I mean to say is that I came because I wanted to thank you for my shop as well.” You rush, motioning to the cart full of packaged pies. “These don’t have your preferred filling, but I hope everyone likes them all the same.”

“Aren’t you precious, Nuria, you didn’t have to go through the trouble. After all, it’s all part of the contract!” She answers, placing one slender cold hand on your shoulder. You try not to shiver.

And yeah, it was part of the contact but still. “I truly had to, Mrs. Rosie, I am eternally grateful to you for taking a chance on me.”

“Look at you,” a hand to her chest, “you sure know how to give a gal good lip service. Won’t you stay for tea? An old friend will be stopping by soon, he’s a riot! Such an entertaining character that he is! Theo, dear, would you kindly take these inside?” She wraps an arm around your shoulders already pulling you toward the porch and that’s when you have to tap out.

“I really can’t, Mrs. Rosie.” You twirl around taking the hand on your shoulders into yours as if you were about to deliver devastating news to show how terribly sorry you were. “I have to get going. We have to prep for tomorrow, a big day awaits us!”

You weren’t lying about that at least.

“Oh alright, I understand, you’re a busy woman and all.” She relents.

“Thank you, Mrs. Rosie. And should we be expecting a new shipment of ingredients for your custom orders soon?”

“Absolutely!” She winks and lets you be on your way.

It never ceased to baffle the Cannibal Overlord how such a hard working girl ended up down here. Life, or the afterlife in this case, was really unfair sometimes—but then again she still had yet to get the full story out of Nuria herself. So who knows, that would have to be tea for another day.

Pros:

• SHADOW WAS DONE RIGHT. He’s perfect and lovely and badass. Keanu did an amazing job voicing him.

• Good sneak in scene

• GOOD FIGHT SCENES

• Shadow was more platinum and I really liked that nod.

• Maria backstory was cute

• Fun references. I enjoyed no food or movies

• Beautiful scene on the moon. Made me cry. In fact a lot of Shadow scenes made me cry.

• They put in hot topic and Eggman being bisexual. I don’t think it was intentional necessarily but it was funny.

• Amy in the end scenes!! Metal in the end scenes!! A nice person told me there was more to the end credits and it was.

• Knuckles’s slight edit out of being scared of ghosts in sa2 was a neat nod too.

• Fighters art style was cute and they did the pose.

• I think if we don’t hear Live & Learn again, it was a nice send off.

Cons:

• Too much Jim Carrey. Holy shit it got annoying. Especially the dance scene. Shut the hell up get to the action.

• They didn’t shoot the little girl. Which is fine but they shot a gun that shot an explosion capsule to avoid shooting the little girl. Sort of stupid.

• HOW THE HELL DID HE LIVE FOR 150 YEARS. HE WAS IMPRISONED. THATS STUPID.

• I consider the removal of Maria’s disability only slightly ableist. Granted, her personality before Shadow Gens was littlest cancer patient. But I think it’s kind of integral to the plot. It was fine though because Shadows an alien (more so) in this. I just don’t like the removal of a character’s disability.

• I don’t care if the cop dies. He broke his stupid arm.

• I didn’t care that the GUN general died.

• They just blew up the moon for a reference. Which is a nice reference! But the moon blowing up was a threat. I liked it was there but it was dumb at the same time.

• Win for Stobotnik I guess??? I guess??? It wasn’t entirely impactful. Lonely Eggman was never much my thing. Nor his sacrifice because he already “died.” Given Metal in the end credits I think he is alive and I don’t like the cheapness of doing it twice. Shadow kinda has to be alive because he’s a fan favorite and so is Eggman he’s the fucking villain but it felt less impactful. Still impactful! But lessened. Shadow doing the right thing made more sense than Eggman. He never wanted to do the right thing he just wanted to rule it not go on a suicide mission like Gerald and Shadow.

Over all it made me very happy. And Shadow made me very happy.

Miscellaneous Thoughts on the new Reboot Trailer

The animation looks great! Not perfect and 2D is still better but there are some really nice shots.

They removed the nipple piercing from the hunting troll, the cowards! Just kidding, I assume this is supposed to be Knut? Not entirely sure. He looks a lot more intimidating than his original counterpart but also more like a generic ogre and less unique. I'm fine with it, I just hope they keep his personality (and him needing glasses with this look would be even funnier.)

I love the way Bloom's flames look around her body! The fire in her eyes is a great touch as well. If all of their powers look as amazing as this, there's definitely something to look forward to! (Please fix her "scream" in this scene though, it sounds pathetic.)

What is Flora doing here? Judging from what the trailer shows they seem to follow the original plot so far but Flora is there with Stella when taking Bloom to Alfea? Why? And why do they make it sound as if they were looking for Bloom specifically? I really like the chance-encounter-turning-into-a-lifetime-friendship aspect of Bloom meeting Stella for the first time so definitely sad that seems to be changed. On the other hand, being optimistic, it could point to a general change to include the other Winx in more scenes in general which would definitely be nice. We'll have to see. (Stella's face looks so weird in this shot.)

And I'm sorry but Stella's voice is awful. Way too squeaky and high! Icy's is also eh and too high again. The rest are okay at least, I guess? Maybe they'll sound better in the actual series. Hopefully the German voices are better like the originals were.

Alfea looks gorgeous!

There seem to be some characters who look more like witches walking around at Alfea? I heard some theories about witches being taught there as well. Really not a fan of that. It doesn't fit at all and they'd have to change the lore significantly to have that make sense.

Still not a fan of the overall colour choices for the outfits, especially Stella's (way too yellow with her everything)... None of the colours really stand out, they're too muted and pastel. I like the design on Bloom's jeans though!

I wonder what's up with the portals that show up several times in the trailer. Who creates them? The room Bloom lands in here looks just like any generic gym, there's even some basketballs in the background. Let's hope this is not Alfea... I'd hate that.

The outdoor/jungle wear is back to being sensible and still stylish and unique for everyone again, love it! They even have backpacks now, that's neat. And I like the idea of the girls with longer hair tying it up so it doesn't get in the way, that's even more practical and looks good as well. (Wtf is wrong with Stella's hair though. And give her more colours than just yellow everything for god's sake. I like that Bloom is back to having a lot of blue in her outfits, that's great to see. But give Musa a strong red and stronger colours in general, I beg you!)

The first thing the Trix do on screen is laugh, 10/10 best reboot.

They're also very similar to their original design, awesome! And Icy's attack looks great, just like Bloom's flames.

I sincerely hope that this is not the final form of Stella's sceptre because... yikes, that looks like a children's toy. But maybe it grows? Maybe she can't use it properly yet and it's only full-size and as badass as her original sceptre when she can? That'd be a cool arc for her!

Faragonda looks good as well.

The Specialists are back, yay! And they look like proper men again, yay! (It is utterly impossible to get a shot of them that isn't blurred, I tried.) I don't care about Sky but from those we see they all seem to have their original hair styles. Brandon has his original side bangs and Riven seems to have his iconic pointy hair. I'm gonna riot if he doesn't!

They have hoverboards now instead of bikes? Okay. The bikes were cooler honestly but maybe they have those as well. And wtf kinda stunt was Brandon doing there? Isn't that something Riven would rather do? But he's just flying in a "boring" straight line. Huh...

Their uniforms look... okay? I love the original fantasy knight-like design they had with the cape and everything while still looking somewhat futuristic so I'm not the biggest fan of them looking more like generic futuristic sci-fi armour here. They're also colour-coded in their original colours but not to the point that their entire armour is that colour, I like that. I wonder what their weapons are gonna be...

You know, on the risk that I incur everyone's wrath for this, I wouldn't be mad at all if Kiko really is just a book and doesn't otherwise appear. He never added anything to the plot and was just there to be cute but even as a child I just found him annoying. We don't need to waste any screentime on him or any of the other random cutesy critters that appear in later seasons.

I think it's clear that it's very very unlikely that the reboot is ever gonna top the original, it's just too iconic in so many ways. Some stuff is obviously worse already but there's a lot to like regardless so I'm optimistic that it's gonna be enjoyable and worth watching! (After which I'll probably immediately rewatch the original because duh and that's just how I am.)

I may get hate for this but this is my opinions on characters in the spider verse movies. And feel free to disagree with me. I will only be talking about the movies portrayal of characters not the comics so I may like a character more in the comics but not in the movie. And another thing I'll take into consideration is plot importance. These are just my thoughts on the characters in general like morally, personality, and how they make me feel

Miles Morales: main character so he immediately gets some points, his story in the first movie was amazing, and it kinda leaks into the second film with him trying to find his place as Spiderman and he has had some of the best moments in the franchise. It makes me so excited for them to rap up his story in the next one. 10/10

Gwen Stacy: her story has been one of the best parts of these movies as it perfectly shows why she does and act the ways she does in the movies from the loss of her best friend and that fear holding her back till miles appears and her conflict with her dad fueling her to stay with the spider society and her later facing her problems instead of running away from them makes her and amazing character, also her fight with the vulture was one of my favorite parts of the movie. 10/10

Peter B Parker: he was good in the first film with it shows his problems in his own world and Miles helping him overcome some fears like having children and in the second him having mayday showing he got his life together, but he loses major points for the second film. He did nothing important only hurting miles and I understand her joins Gwen at the end to help him but hes constantly bringing his child to battles and did nothing when Gwen was being sent home to a place where she had no safe place to stay and where her dad had tried to shoot her. Like my guy you are an adult Atleast try and say something.4/10

Peni Parker: absolutely adorable in the first film and very helpful in making and new goober her and spider are so interesting and her dynamics with porker and noir is so cool, it made me so sad when her Fathers mech died. While she didn't do anything important in the second film the movie did a great job of showing she had changed, I can wait to see more of her in the next film. 7/10

Spider noir: I definitely think he's over rated but I can see why. his design slaps and he was quite funny in the first film, they did a great job in showing someone from a black and white world trying to adjust to a world of colours, he was a good character with some great lines despite not doing anything of much importance to the story, him throwing a car at tombstone was badass though and his relationship with peni was cute. Maybe my opinion will change on him in the next movie though. 6/10

Spider ham: I don't really feel anything towards him he had some good lines and his fight with scorpion was great but other than that he didn't really do anything, hopefully this will change in the next film. 5/10

Miguel O'Hara: here's where people may disagree with me. I like the concept for his powers and I think he's a great antagonists to Gwen and miles but other than that I don't care about him as a character. Im interesting to see what happens with him in the next film but I ain't to fond of his design, and his cannon even theory is fucking shifty, like bro the reason the world collapsed was because you replaced a dead person not because you stopped one event. Also he should not be treating children the way he does in the film , like dude you were a father wtf. And the hype around the character also puts me off him as well. 3/10

Jessica drew: I actually really like Jess, while she didn't do to much in the film, it was still enough to get me interested in her character from her first interaction with Gwen showing concern for her and later becoming her mentor. When Gwen gets sent home it shows her slowly swaying away from Miguel , the film actually shows a conflict within this character which a lot of characters seemingly don't get, and makes me wanna see how she's handled next film. 7/10

Hobie brown: I like Hobie he's just over rated as fuck. He makes the new watches for Gwen and the gang and also helps miles get free but other than that, he hasn't got much of an individual story in the movie yet, he just felt like a side character, which technically he is but most of the other spiders don't have the problem for me. I think I heard where seeing more of his world in the next film so hopefully it gives us more insight to his character, but I also feel like once again it's the fan girls which are ruining the character for me. 5/10

Pavitr Prabhakar: I loved him his introduction was incredible and and entire section of the movie in mumbattan was incredible, with the black hole forming in his world, it provides his character with a secondary story behind the main movie one. Him joining the gang at the end of the film even with his world collapsing shows how good of a friend he is, miles helped him so now he's gonna help miles, while he didn't do to much in the movie they did a great job of setting up his character for the next one. 7/10

Margo kess: I absolutely love her design and she wasn't in the film enough, the only thing she really did in the movie was let miles go but it had a big impact, I can't wait to see her on the team in the next film. I'm also sick of people putting her and Gwen against each other the besties deal with it. Her score would be higher I just haven't seen enough of her character yet. 6/10

Miles g morales: badass entrence and it was a really cool ending to the film, thought were don't know anything about him yet as a character so I can't really rate him yet. 4/10

Spider cat: 10/10 no questions asked.

Prequels are Hard, but This One Nailed It

As all Star Wars fans know, prequels are HARD. You have a less developed version of a beloved character and it's very easy to either be too predictable or to make the character significantly less interesting in comparison to their more mature and experienced version. Add to that the potentiality for "baby warrior swings a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG sword" simplicuty of character given Viv's off-page future/history (depending on which direction you're coming at it from), and it's kind of miraculous that this book was as awesome at it turned out to be. But it was awesome, it had BOOKS and PASTRIES, and they threw in a necromancer for funsies. Let's talk Bookshops & Bonedust.

Being the dumbass newbie who gets skewered on mission one absolutely sucks. But where most baby warriors would hear "Newbies who rush in die most of the time" wouldn't take any time to reflect on that as they convalesce, Viv actually does, and spends her entire time in Murk remembering that she's young and dumb and probably should look before she leaps now or else Rackham might not take her back. I appreciated that impetus to learn and develop a new habit.

I also adored that Viv had a good example of a life after being a soldier of fortune in Maylee. Maylee was such a fascinating combination of experience and vulnerability in everything from her understanding of where she and Viv were in their lives and still choosing the joy in the time they had to being so delighted over the book of fancy pastries that she was willing to leverage her clout to support Fern because it was important to Viv. The foreshadowing for Legends & Lattes in Maylee just in general was amazing, and the whole theme of "at another time and in another place, this might have been perfect but we're in this time and place so we make do" was just weirdly heart-wrenching? Like, we KNOW Viv has a happy ending coming, but it doesn't actually soften the intensity of the here-and-now feelings, and that is SO LIFE I can't even. This whole relationship was fascinating, and I loved getting to see this summer romance.

Then we come to Fern, the absolutely delightfully foul-mouthed proprietor of the titualr bookshop. I very nearly CRIED when we got the first description of this little shop. HOW could you keep BOOKS in such terrible conditions??? But the love and work that Fern and Viv put into the shop, and the sheer delight of watching Fern read people and match them to books was fun. I also appreciated the combination of subtle homages to classic and contemporary books and book trends--the bundles of mystery books with themes on the wrappers was just delightful.

This is also where we shout out Potroast, because POTROAST IS THE HERO OF THE NOVEL AND NO, YOU WILL NOT CHANGE MY MIND ON THIS. Sassypants gryphets are my new favorite thing.

Finally, we come to Varine. I generally am not a necromancer girl, but Varine is delightful because she's just living her best villain life. She's not terribly complex, she's not terribly well developed, but she doesn't NEED to be. She NEEDS to be scary and fun, and both those boxes were ticked.

At this point, I want to highlight another seriously awesome thing that a good friend of mine point out: This book is super woman-heavy. The named male characters are more plot devices than actual people, and all our main characters are badass ladies. Even the irascible Iridia--head gatewarden and indisputable authority in the town--is female. This entire book is badass women politicking at and supporting each other and all I can say is...MORE OF THIS PLEASE. More women-dominated cozy fantasies with sassy gryphets. I love this and I hope Baldree keeps writing in this universe, because I would happily dive into more of these books.

Overall, Bookshops & Bonedust was a delightful read that didn't really feel like a prequel. It had none of the prequel weaknesses or pitfalls, and was just a sheer delight to read.

k so why did the advertising in the flash movie heavily focus on kara when she was barely in the movie only to die??

i was bombarded with advertisements for the flash when it was coming out - and it was almost all barry running and kara showing up in her suit and using her heat vision. i can't even remember if the other timeline barry or batman show up in the ads (either batman version).

i had no desire to watch the movie, but thought it was great that supergirl was back on the big screen in such a major movie. and having her be so different to previous version was so cool - she's latino! she's more masc looking!

anyway it was my dad's birthday and he wanted to watch the flash but i cannot believe how disappointed i was with kara's treatment?

not kara herself - sasha did an amazing job (especially considering), sad but interesting backstory, intriguing character, she's badass and conflicted and has a cool suit.

but she only shows up like over an hour and a half into the movie!? she has what, maybe 15 lines? if i'm being generous. in her first fight she decimates her captors despite being seriously depleted - in her second (and last) fight she's kicking zod's ass only to have him Suddenly Win. for plot reasons. and brutally murder her on screen.

zod stabs kara with some deus ex machina weapon that he's apparently saved until now and it just makes her completely helpless. and then she's stabbed again by some experimental tech and has her blood drained. and then she dies.

despite being... kryptonian. like was it a kryptonite weapon? that wasn't made clear. she survived decades in captivity surrounded by kryptonite but This Weapon is what gets her. despite the sun. idk.

And if that wasn't insulting enough - she dies again. and again. and again. because barry 2.0 can't accept her death and keeps going back in time to change it. there's a montage of kara dying. in different ways. sometimes not even with the stabbing thing? she's just suddenly outmatched?? barry gets stabbed by the kryptonian weapons and just keeps going.

og batman dies twice - being blown up and then dying in the arms of his friend. he gets his moment, he gets his last lines. kara never gets that. kara always dies alone, her body lying on the ground in display of barry's "failure".

and then she's not mentioned again?? because the movie doesn't think she matters at all! only in relation to barry's story!

it's such a textbook example of the 'women in refrigerators' trope and it's so fucking annoying that this trope is still used, especially in superhero media! so incredibly sexist and ridiculous - poor writing and poor character treatment.

i have very little faith that the dc movies could do any justice to kara after this, but saying that they Are going to make a supergirl movie and not even telling sasha if she's going to be cast in it or not like how dirty can you do this poor actor who quite frankly was already the best part of your basic movie?

Lord of Chaos new reader thoughts: Chapter 16-25

I fell very behind on my Lord of Chaos reactions so I'm just going to do my general thoughts and favorite moment of each chapter. there are no spoilers past LOC chapter 25 in this post :)

Chapter 16 (Tellings of the Wheel): I don't have the brain to keep all the nobles and politics straight, way too many names and conflicting goals, but go off.

❤️ Rand's badass speech to Sammael's creepy messenger - my boy is growing up.

Chapter 17 (The Wheel of a Life): It's fascinating seeing Cairhienin and Aiel culture mingle and clash.

❤️ BERELAIN IS HERE!

Chapter 18 (A Taste of Solitude): This chapter gave me WAY too many feelings at 7am - Rand encouraging innovation and learning, including things that don't have wartime applications, in case he breaks the world again... I can't handle it.

❤️ The school, but also "If it hurts too much, make it hurt someone else instead." LTT is spitting bars.

Chapter 19 (Matters of Toh): Oh I love this chapter, FINALLY we get Aviendha content. I really like Rand and Avi's relationship and this book has been holding out on me.

❤️ The Rand/Avi conversation!! They're both being so stupid and I love them so much.

Chapter 20 (From the Stedding): This was kind of cute I guess. I like seeing the Ogier view of history.

Chapter 21 (To Shadar Logoth): I have no idea what the point of this chapter was, am I missing something??? Is it just a reminder that Waygates and Shadar Logoth exist, and that Rand doesn't want to see women die? Feels kind of pointless.

❤️ All the Aiel rushing to Rand because he only gave Sulin a count of 50 to round people up, so she was like "HE'S BEING ATTACKED!!" and everyone was jumping out of windows and shit to get to him. (This better be in the show - it's funny as hell)

Chapter 22 (Heading South): RIP to those Tinkers. Also Olver is so cute!! Mat is 100% adopting him.

❤️ Mat trying to sneak so the people in his tent wouldn't hear him. I don't know why, but I've never been more invested in a description of a guy trying to quietly stand there and avoid notice.

Chapter 23 (To Understand a Message): This chapter is short and sweet. Graendal got absolutely bodied by Sammael and I looove all the drama between the Forsaken.

❤️ Graendal being a wine snob.

Chapter 24 (An Embassy): I loved this whole chapter - very nice to see Egwene being comfortable with the Wise Ones, and also Amys being motherly towards Berelain is so amazing. So stressed about Egwene getting found out though, by both the Aiel and the Aes Sedai.

❤️ Egwene realizing she's gotten a lot stronger in her time with the Wise Ones

Chapter 25 (Like Lightning and Rain): I love the beginning of this chapter (Egwene spying on the Caemlyn Aes Sedai) and the end (the Aes Sedai trying to be crafty but completely missing the mark with their theories) but I HATE THE MIDDLE BECAUSE FUCKING GAWYN SHOWED UP AND HE AND EGWENE ARE AN ITEM NOW. Genuinely had to put the book down for a while I was pissed. In book 6?????? I thought I had longer to prepare. Someone please come put me out of my misery.

Overall: Goddamn this book picked up speed here. Lowkey still not that much has happened but these chapters were bangers. I'm actually loving the Egwene plotline except now Gawyn is here to ruin it all. Fuck that guy.

Before I knew about any ships or anything really about obx, I would see bits and pieces of jjpope and fully thought they were together. Or at least would eventually get together because ?? The scenes ?? The pining ?? What was all that for?? There’s smth to be said about public opinion and how that mobilized j*ara to get together and they were cowards to not do anything with jjpope. Granted, like you said, my fic only has crumbs of them 😭 and I would love to write them more into the story or even do a fic for just them

We’re really nearing the end of this fic and I’m blown away by that because I’ve been writing this for a while! I’m just proud that I’ve gotten to this point where I can say that things will be wrapping things up. It’s so exciting getting to these chapters because they were the ones I knew I wanted to write when I initially thought of this fic, it’s sooooo rewarding to get them out now and have you and others comment about enjoying it!! 🫶

But with one door closing another one will inevitably open, as for Riara fics— I’ve got one I’ve been working on! However, it’s a lot different than KRCG which I intentionally kept very light and fun. This new one will be quite controversial because it’s more of a dark fic, darker than my bad habit riara fic at some points and I know that’s everyone’s major issue with riara in the first place. I’ve alluded to it in the past but it takes place in s3 when the plane goes down. Rather than Kiara getting kidnapped by Singh, she’s “rescued” by Rafe and works things to her advantage to plan an escape back to the rest of the pogues. Essentially it’s them being forced to work together since they both have leverage they’re using to be useful to the other person— they get involved in the illegal trades, there are heists, jetting off to various countries for prospective clients, black market business dealings, general politics re: the criminal underbelly of the world, etc. Almost like a mafia au but without Rafe being a suave mafiasso lmao he’s just as out of his depth as Kiara is. I’m having a lot of fun with this one since it’s fully an enemies to lovers and I really enjoy deconstructing K&R’s preconceived notions of one another bit by bit and letting them humanize each other and grapple with what morality means to them. Mainly, it’s just drammmmaaa and them being badass 🥰

I am preparing myself for this to not be as well received with everyone since it’s quite out there and includes all the typical elements of riara that people don’t like, unapologetically and leaning into it even more. But the thought popped into my mind when s3 first came out and drew said that sometimes it feels like he’s on a totally different show than the rest of the cast bc of the scenes he gets, and that never left my mind— it took me a year to plan out the plot and I have so many pages of my notebook covered in moments, plot lines, dialogue, plot twists, drama, reveals that I want to write and now it’s finally happenjng ! So I’m very stoked for it but can understand & respect that people might want to sit this one out!

Arc-V Month Day 8: The Regular- ah, Standard Show and Day 9:Light Across the Aether

Combining two prompts, as I'll be gushing about (among other parts) about the Standard arc. Hope that's fine, @arcvmonth

Anyway, Arc-V has a lot of positives (that tend to get washed by the hatejerk), but what I want all of us to appreciate is that this silly show...exists. Not only that, but the awesome way the staff managed to hype all of us up?

What do I mean by this? Let me put it this way. This is a show about a multidimensional war where each dimension is based on a previous Yugioh series, featuring Returning Characters, and every Summoning Type is used.

Now go back to the original trailer for Arc-V. Notice how there're some things missing. Namely? ALL OF THE ABOVE. We knew about Pendulum Summoning, we knew Yuya rode a hippo...and that's about it.

Marketing-wise maybe this wasn't the brightest move, but it's an example of something I love about early Arc-V. In the year of our lord, 2023, where crossovers are everywhere and meta-commentary is so overdone people do meta-commentary about meta-commentary, it's bewildering how Arc-V kept its cards close to its chest and drip-fed information about its plot to keep the audience interested.

All of Season 1 is like this. At first we only really see Pendulum Summoning. But as early as Episode 3, we get hints about the other Summoning Types, since LDS has courses on each one. But whatever, you may think. It's only an Easter Egg, right?

Then this little fella shows up.

Casually, this kid activates Polymerization like it's nothing. And it's not like Jack randomly Fusing in early 5D's, Sora's deck is clearly Fusion-focused. But if that's not enough, we then meet the LDS trio, who use Xyz, Fusion, and Synchro. AND THEN Reiji tops them all by using all three at once. And Pendulum.

It's easy to take it for granted now, but this was legit just such a "holy shit" moment back then. 5D's featured Fusion a few times, but it was mostly a Synchro Spam. And Zexal pretended Synchros didn't exist. So it was so exciting to know Arc-V would be different.

That would be cool enough, but then they went ahead and made it so that each Summoning Type was tied to a specific Dimension. And again, the war plot was dropped slowly but surely. We get introduced to Yuto, who not only looks like Yuya, but he mentions something about some "Academia". But hey, a GX reference, whatever. And then it keeps going. We learn about Shun, about Ruri. And it all culminates in Shun vs Sora, which... ok, everyone knows this duel is amazing, but it's not just about the duel itself being spectacular. It's about the confirmation that, yes, we really are doing this. That Action Field IS Heartland, Shun and Yuto are from there, and the Academia Sora belongs to is based on GX.

The most ambitious crossover in history is here. And all they told us at first is that Tomato-boy rides a hippo. What the fuck.

Speaking of hippo-ridah. Arc-V always gets the somewhat-backhanded compliment of being the most ambitious Yugioh series, a statement I agree with. However, this is generally just refers to the overall scope of the plot. Today, one aspect that can sometimes get neglected that I want to highlight is how daring their choice of protagonist is.

Yuya, my beloved. I don't wanna spend too much time about how much I love him, because I'm sure I'll do so in the future, but I want everyone to appreciate the writers' choice in creating him.

I'm gonna be blunt: Shonen fans can be dumb. They are not the kind to be receptive to protagonists who're not hyper-macho, badass types and who are prone to show weakness. Just look at the response characters like Shinji Ikari or Natsuki Subaru get. Now, I'm not saying Yuya is as well-written as those, but it shows that even if the writers had written him perfectly there was always going to be a crowd of people who were going to hate him.

So I gotta give a shout-out for creating what's easily the most complex Yugioh protag by a long shot. Other protags could be slotted into one of two categories: "Serious" (Yugi, Yusei), or "Upbeat" (Judai, Yuma). Meanwhile, from Episode 1, Yuya defies categorization. He plays the clown, making one think he'll fit right in with Judai and Yuma, before the show makes it clear that it's just a facade... but also it's not. He truly strives to be the fun-loving, charming Entertainer he projects, but his own struggles and feelings prevent him from succeeding. It's a fascinating struggle, and I'm impressed that a franchise like Yu-gi-oh would even attempt this. And then you throw in the demon inside of him, and the waters get even muddier.

Speaking of which...

Something Cool about the Zarc Duel

(Yeah, that's as good of a segue as you're getting. I just wanna talk about something cool I noticed.)

So. The Zarc-duel. It's a mixed bag. I'm of the opinion most of it is meh (not helped by it taking over a month to air), but that the first and final episodes of it are amazing. And I wanna talk about something cool about said last episode that doesn't get talked about enough.

So, as we know, Zarc, alongside Yuya, created Pendulum to get revenge. And yet he gets defeated the exact-same way, by Ray activating the En Cards...or does he? If you pay attention, you'll notice that the En Cards destroy monsters, negate their effects, and deal 600 damage for each Monster sent to the graveyard (very particular wording these uber-powerful cards). Zarc has 2800 LP, and five monsters affected. 600x5 means his Life Points naturally drop to... 1000?

Of course, that's because Odd Eyes and Zarc are Pendulum monsters, so they're sent to the Extra Deck. If they weren't, he'd have lost right there and then. And not only did Zarc's scheme prevent his defeat, it basically got him the duel: he still had Scales set, and Reira's field was empty, so nothing stops him from Pendulum Summoning Zarc and/or Odd Eyes, and attack for game. Thankfully, the Lancers' efforts managed to reach Yuya, and he regained control and basically Shining Drew Smile Universe. In a hint of irony, they even play Swing, Pendulum of Souls, a song usually reserved for Zarc possessing Yuya.

Speaking of which, Smile Universe's effect is really similar to that of the En Cards. I guess it's the Unofficial 5th one and Smiles are the 5th beauty of Nature.

On that note, one last thing.

The Title: Arc-V

Arc-V is a very peculiar name for a show. And what I love is that it has many meanings. Most straight-forwardly, it's the name of the machine Leo builds to fuse the Dimensions. And obviously, it refers to it being the fifth Yugioh series. But it also refers to both the arc of a Pendulum, as well as the shape of a smile (there's an ED literally called "ARC OF SMILE", in case you think I'm reading too deep into things). I love how well-crafted this show's symbolism and visual language is.

Anyway, this turned into a massive ramble. I'm just happy to talk about this silly show that's burned itself into my mind. Thanks for reading if you somehow made it this far.

Ranking events I've read as I enjoyed them from most to least, with the top events being the most-enjoyable and the bottom events being the least.

No family specific events (batfam, superfam, etc) are counted, generally just big whole-world stuff.

Infinite Crisis - look is infinite crisis technically good? Probably no. But I enjoyed it a ton, it had both a coherent arc in the main comic AND a ton of fun side comic tie ins many of which were AWESOME.

Final Night - very nice self contained story that has a more survivaly beat than usual.... barda's like "RIP to all those other worlds the suneater came to but we're differente" and she's rIGHT

Our World’s at War - I remember disliking this one at first but then I started loving it and I have no clue why. Sorry. But it was fun. greatly boosted by jimenez's wonder woman.

Final Crisis - look, the main plotline is incomprehensible and stupid. But I love all the tie ins and if you read the omni it really succeeds in creating a universe-scale feeling conflict. is this most likely sunk cost fallacy? who cares

Crisis on Infinite Earths - it goes on too long (like IIRC they have to defeat Antimonitor 3 times?) But supergirl is super badass and george perez is the artist

Invasion - general fun alien invasion shenanigans. Superman clocks in to work at the worst time of his life

War of the Gods -IDK there were some good tie ins and wonder woman doing stuff. not the most amazing but not terrible either.

Blackest Night - too much boring green lantern stuff i didn't care for, but it gives us brightest day later which has amazing mera content, so that boosts it up.

Day of Judgment - I can't remember a ton about this so it's here. I don't remember disliking it. Hal became Spectre IG?

Zero Hour: Crisis in Time - i literally remember very little about this event. I remember I didn't hate it and there wasn't a lot to complain about, but not a ton besides Damage resetting the universe for what I liked... this seems like an appropriate place.

Joker: Last Laugh - mostly boring but there is some nice babs stuff and the scene where dick beats the joker to death is satisfying

Eclipso: the Darkness Within - the actual plotline itself wasn't *terrible* but the effects (eclipso 17 issue series which was pointlessly edgy and killed beth and yolanda) were awful

Knight Terrors - a pointless event that was way too long, but at least it didn't actively make things worse (except for comics being cancelled for a couple months). it was like. just there. who was this for?

Amazons Attack! (from the late 2ks, not the recent "Amazons Attack") - god this sucked so much. The writers were completely unfamiliar with wonder woman lore but still did a wonder woman event.

Lazarus Planet - a pointless non-event that didn't even have enough plot for more than 2 issues, tied into mark waid's cringiest miniseries, AND destroyed the pacing on Monkey Prince.

The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion review/opinion

Okay, I've just finished watching The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion, and despite all its setbacks and numerous plot holes and excessive dramatization /and I mean there's A LOT of drama in the second half of the whow/, I just loved it to bits. Zhang Zhehan and Ju Jingyi look ridiculously cute together. He's the reserved type of guy who doesn't show his emotions easily /but when he does it's a treat for the eyes/ and she's a young sweet thing with a very mischievous character, carefree attitude towards life, and a darker undertone /with her being able to glimpse into the future and trying to prevent things from happening/.

So, watching these two stumble upon each other in a series of (un)fortunate events was real fun and how they slowly developed feelings towards each other (although she was desperately trying no to, but while avoiding the guy she just kept stumbling upon him more XD). The second couple was also beyond sweet, but in a hotter and more cheerful way - they actually got to have some time to develop their romance naturally, without being dragged into all possible near-death situations, so in that sense, they are a more classical couple, but exceptionally delicious, watching them develop feelings for each other was very yummy and they do look very good together.

Also, the sisterhood is strong in this one, like a very healthy sisterly relationship that is both sweet and protective and very natural. Basically, I loved everyone's acting in this, the main evil-not-so-evil guy, of course, was far from original, but I was kind of okay with the screen time he was getting, but I've got to admit I skipped a lot of scenes with him XD /the character was slightly annoying in the second part of the series, but the actor is very good-looking/

The plot had some fun and strong points (mostly relationship-wise), the RuYi Pavilion's secret identity was a cool touch, the owner was also kind of badass (while she was there). The whole premise of kill-em-all to take revenge is a bit old but bearable. The characters are quite fresh and the actors delivered them masterfully. I won't say anything about the ending, but it was a bit of a floppy flop XD Well, I wasn't too disappointed, despite being invested into the main characters to some degree. I say the whole show is an emotional roller-coster but in general, it's very enjoyable.

DO WATCH the modern-day specials wtih ZZH and JJY, those shorts are beyond lovely. A type of reincarnation AU I'd totally watch. Plus, they do look ridiculously good together as a modern couple as well.

After watching the BTS, I'm really amazed at their acting skills because they laughed SO MUCH, omg, ZZH and JJY are like two kiddos giggling, dancing, and playing around, an absolute bliss to watch.
