Thor's human persona, Don Blake, was a whole thing in the beginning, huh? Honestly, the gimmick never appealed to me, but I'll also admit I've never actually read Thor at all.
If a god is possessing a person, then I suppose you're technically dating two people as one. Like how Sadie Kane dates both Walt Stone and Anubis. I still see parallels to Marvel comics in how the Kane Chronicles has their whole host thing. I wonder...if you date Thor, I suppose it'd mean you'd have to be willing to date Don Blake as well. Because I still see Don Blake and Thor as different people. I know they aren't written as different people, but I see them as different people. So yeah. I'm accepting this as my own headcanon now. Thor and Don Blake are distinct enough to be separate people, so people dating them have a polyamorous thing going on.
I googled the screenplay writer for Challengers, Justin Kuritzkes. Turns out his next project is adapting a novel for screen. Ok cool, interesting. Who wrote the novel?
…
Don Winslow. The guy who wrote Savages.
Are we finally entering the era of “look at this magnificent woman, does she not deserve multiple simp boyfriends?” Also the era of “fellas is it gay to like the same girl?”
