Listen, he knows humans can go up against yokai's and mutant's

I mean, his dad and April are living proof of that-

But he genuinely can't help but be amazed when he sees you using a scythe of all things to go up against yokai's literally four times your size

Especially since you seemingly appeared out of nowhere to join the battle-

Seriously, can you portal or something???

He stops are stares as you easily knock a rather angry lizard yokai off balance, before sending them running with a slice of your wicked scythe

Your movement were so fluid,

A literal blink and you'll miss it type of speed

"Woah S/O! I didn't know you could do that-"

He'll exclaim, before ducking as you swipe at another angry yokai right behind him

"Think you could teach me how to do some of that??"

"Sure- we should probably finish this fight first though."

Oh right the fight-

He loves to spar with you

You're able to keep up with him quite easily!

And Leo is fast- like really fast

But even when he uses his portals to try to get near you-

Your scythe easily keeps him at bay.

He's absolutely in awe of you

Your blades clash together and Leo gives you this bright smile

"How in the world did I end up with someone so cool!?"

Donnie's impressed!

Though, he tries not to show it

Wielding a weapon like a scythe or bow staff automatically gives you cool points in his book

And you're incredibly proficient with your scythe too???

Donnie definitely want's to challenge you

"Your scythe versus my magnificent Bo-staff, I think the winner is pretty clear here."

What he thought would be an easy fight ended up being a nearly 20 minute long battle

You both were neck and neck

You were quick to block his attacks and dish out some deadly looking slices of your own

Afterwards, Donnie offers to modify your scythe for you!

"Think about it- it's already incredibly sharp and in your hands?? Borderline deadly. Now, hear me out, imagine if it had a chainsaw?"

Donnie pls.

"Or what if it was purple!?"

Whether or not you let him add some "flair" to your scythe

He genuinely thinks you're cool

He doesn't even flinch when he sees you, his wonderful human s/o, go up against a super powered yokai

"Me? Worried?? No need to, I already called a mystic doctor."

"You mean a human doctor, right?"

"No??? That yokai obviously needs a mystic doctor."

He never doubted you for a second~

(That yokai you beat definitely needed that doctor- yikes)

He thinks you're amazing!!!

You're out here with no powers

No magic

No mutations

Just your normal human self and scythe

Fighting angry mutants and yokai like nothing!!!

Mikey thinks you're one of the strongest people he's ever known!

Aside from his family ofc

He loves to watch you fight

Has and will bring snacks to watch

Ofc, if you're ever in a pinch, Mikey will gladly swoop in to help you

He absolutely loves teaming up with you

Between his nun-chucks and your scythe-

No villain stands a chance

He even uses the blades in his nun-chucks from time to time to "match with you" ^^

Loves asking you to let him wrap his chains around the staff portion of your scythe so you can launch him at people

"It'll look so cool! C'mon just once???"

To be fair-

It does look and feel pretty dang cool!

Mikey knows you can handle your own in battle

He's seen it more than once

But if things ever get too rough

He's always there to lend a hand!

Oh Raph...

Poor guy nearly faints every time you go into battle

Yes he knows humans can fight too

But you're not even using a mystic powered weapon like April does!

You could get seriously injured or worse!!

He always starts worrying over you

Especially when you both were just starting to get to know each other-

He didn't want to loose one of the few friends and humans that he knew!

He often will go into battle and cover you,

Taking hits or tackling opponents away

But you end up having a serious talk with him about this

"I know you're worried, but I can do this. I know how to fight-"

"I know, I know, I just get worried ya know?"

While he's still nervous about it,

He eventually starts hanging back to let you fight your own fights

And he comes to realize you are pretty great at what you do!

Your scythe is practically an extension of your own body,

And you easily handle opponents larger than you-

Both mystic and mutated!

"You're amazing!!"

Raph really comes to respect your strength and proficiency with your scythe.

He knows you can handle yourself

That still doesn't stop him from jumping in to help or defend you

Even when you may not necessarily need help

He still cares and worries about you

Doesn't want you to get hurt

Especially if he can help it.

"Er- sorry, I just jumped in again without thinkin'..."

hi! i really like your works, so i'd like to request a ( sort of angsty ) scenario where the rottmnt boys react to their s/o losing their memories after getting injured from a bad guy fight, so they completely forget who the boys are

Hello! I want to preface this by saying: this is mostly from their POV, so their thoughts are very much self-blaming, even if what they think is not at all the case!

Slightly angsty, filled with self blame and anxiety.

Rottmnt x S/O who loses their memories after a fight

Leo feels the weight of this horrible situation crush him like a fallen building.

If only he had just been a little faster- or planned ahead better

Maybe if he had been more serious about his s/o and their safety this never would have happened.

He’s in shock at first when you flinch away from him

Whether or not you were genuinely scared or just shocked at seeing a mutant ninja turtle-

It hurts him all the same because of one thing

The genuine confusion on your face-

No trace of recognition in your gaze

He shuts down for a few moments as his brothers try to figure out what they can do to help

The ringing in his ears grow loud until the high pitch whine is all he can hear

He can’t even see you nor his family in front of him anymore- everything far too blurry

Just vague shapes and blobs of color…

Distorted and unrecognizable

Is that how his s/o saw him??

All he can think is;

He should have gotten to you quicker

He couldn’t even portal to you because he didn’t know where you were.

It’s his fault that you don’t remember him,

The life you two have life together,

All the laughter you shared,

Just gone… like it never existed…

Donnie’s already trying to scan his s/o and check for any injuries the second he finds them

What could’ve caused their condition??

Blunt force trauma to the head?

Mystical memory wipe??

What’s ever caused it, he’s going to find it

And he will not rest until he can reverse this.

Absolutely could not handle your reaction to him-

Not knowing who he is,

Not knowing all the wonderful progress you two made together,

Helping him with his experiments and machinery,

Getting comfortable with prolonged touch,

The late night rambles-

Immediately started murmuring the statistics of regaining your memory under his breath

You had to get their memory back- you absolutely had to.

Statistics be damned- he’s making sure it’s a 100% chance.

There’s anxiety gnawing away at him slowly from the inside,

Creeping and burning like static in his bones.

Not even the numerous photos he has of the both of you are helping- maybe it’s just too soon

You did just wake up after all… but why-

Why couldn’t he have prevented this?

All of his fail safes,

The numerous emergency alert devices he gave you,

He weapon he had specifically designed to be easy to conceal and have on you at all times,

Even his GPS tracker-

None of them had worked to keep you safe…

He failed, and this was worse than any experiment exploding in his face.

He failed you and now you have no idea about just how close you two actually are

…

He will fix this- there’s no room for error this time.

Mystic Mike

Mikey’s on the verge of waking up the person who was cruel enough to harm you this badly- just so he could beat them up again.

They hurt you- hurt you so bad you can’t even remember his name

Let alone everything you two have been through together

Mikey feels rage

At the situation,

At the villains who did this,

And at himself-

Why hadn’t he been strong enough to stop this?

He can throw buses, skyscrapers even,

He can maneuver his way around places with ease with his razzmatazz mastery

But what was all that strength and skill for if none of it could help you?

He’s frustrated enough to cry

But he’s also the quickest to compose himself

Several deep breaths in and out before he's able to pull himself together enough to crouch down beside his beloved s/o

Gently reassures you that he means no harm,

That you were in a bad fight and letting you slowly collect yourself.

He also uses photos- but rather than doing this to specifically try to jog his s/o's memories,

It's more to show them that they actually do know him-

Trying to get your memories back can wait for later,

His main focus is making sure his s/o is calm and comfortable around him- at least enough to trust that he won't harm them.

Once you feel that they can trust him- even if only a little bit,

He'll take you home and make sure you're alright physically.

Later on, he sneaks off quietly to the gym area

Demolishes the punching bag they had-

All of his worries and frustrations are taken out with every punch

Would you ever remember him?

If you never regained your memories, is there any chance you two would ever have the relationship you once had again??

They're going to need more punching bags,

All the extra ones are destroyed too.

His family is worried, but Mikey is only focused on two things;

Helping you remember him and getting revenge for you.

He will make sure this won't ever happen again.

Surely you must be playing a prank or something-

He is in complete denial at first,

Then, as his family explains that no-

You aren't joking,

You genuinely don't remember him,

His denial shatters into gut wrenching dispair.

How did this happen-

Why did this happen?!

...

This was all his fault.

Why wasn't he there for you when you needed him??

He's suppose to be able to protect those who he cares about

Especially his beloved s/o

Yet he failed

He wasn't there,

He wasn't able to help you, to stop you from ever being hurt this badly

And now you can’t remember a single thing about him, your relationship together, nothing.

RAPH is still able to move and check on you-

Though, it’s more like hovering worriedly while Donnie and Leo do their best to patch you up

He is watching like a hawk, making sure that you’re in no additional discomfort or pain

Once you’re clear enough to be able to go home though

Raph is stressing

If you leave now you could get hurt again!

But he doesn’t want to scare you off by being too overbearing

Especially if he wants any chance of you remembering him-

He can’t cause you to feel uncomfortable around him- or worse

Frightened.

He’s able to stop his anxiety fueled spiral before it consumes him

Focusing on making you’re you get home safely

Even if you decline having him walk with you-

He’ll make sure to follow stealthily from a distance

Once he’s certain you’re absolutely safe and sound

He’s pacing around the lair and pulling at his mask

What if you don’t remember him?

Donnie said you likely just had “mild amnesia” but what if it was worse?!

There’s a chance you’ll never be able to remember him-

And it’s all his fault…

He couldn’t protect you

It all boils down to one simple fact ringing in his head:

He wasn’t there

…

He’ll make sure he’s always there

He will be there for you.

Donatello quirked his beak, looking between the piece they had found while out in the Hidden City, and this World's Don. They really needed nicknames or something for each other. Regardless, he was thinking about how they mentioned they were 'banned' from With Town, something about magic and science clashing. Admittedly Donatello was too busy in awe of the Hidden City to take in much information about the exact reason behind Don's banning.. After a moment, he decided to share his thoughts,

"So, why exactly don't you like magic?" He finally asks, looking Don's way, "I mean, once, my brother's and I were trapped in a MMORPG while searching for Master Splinter's data bytes," He pauses, smiling awkwardly, "Uh, long story for another time," He laughs slightly, "Anyway, while there, I was a Wizard in the game, and honestly, it was fun getting to use magic."

Oh, he has no idea what he just said.

Looking back to the piece, Don kept talking, so very unaware of what he had started,

"I mean, magic itself is just a form of science we simply don't understand, don't you think?"

Strange...why does Donatello suddenly hear Boss Music...

Beyond pleased over the find Donatello was holding it carefully in his hands openly biting down on to his bottom bill as he held it between his fingers. Not often something he would get to use BUT no one could tell him he couldn't now! Having the whole 'oh look its a Donatello from another dimension suddenly in ours! of course we must save them and help them return to their home.' Meaning anything Donnie needed was all up for him to get. Even if it meant he had to be met with the view of that stupid Witch Town he was WRONGLY banned from. Turning his head as held the bit of metal container carrying that's right uranium! tight between his three fingers hand. Physically turning his snout up at the place as he huffed out loud enough to get his counterparts attention with the action.

"And LOOOK at that! oh what the MARVELOUS WONDER THAT IS SCI-ENC-EEEE " he stretched out the word as about as long as he could manage to do so eyeing the front gate of witch town as if he was just picking a fight with it alone. And in a way he was but it was more the residents inside the town he was picking this fight with. Didn't matter that he had worked past that tiny, massive worry and fear of his. Donatello was still holding on to this grudge of his. Stance wide as he was holding the oh so longed and desired chemical element, shaking his hand at the towns sign. Openly sticking his tongue out as he blew a razz barry, yes very mature of the scientist. "THAT'S RIGHT! Look at this you second rate, two bit Vegas act hacks! he stated with pure mockery in his laugh!"

"So, why exactly don't you like magic?"

Turning to look at the interdimensional Donatello who seemed to find their voice again, not that Donnie could blame them much hell the first time they saw Run of the Mill Pizza his brothers and him were amazed alone by the sight. Not to mention the hidden city. Didn't seem like their world had a mystic city filled with yoaki like this world did. Ease hos he was standing to return a far more relaxed stance as he turned to face them keeping his back to Witch Town, Oh where ever should he start with his answer on that? not that he is given much chance to fully think when they continued on to speak up.

"His data bytes?" Donnie found himself repeating his attention was piqued at this tidbit, stuck INSIDE a video game! Oh that sounded like a dream to him! TO BECOME code!

"Aw come on don't leave me hanging like that I wanna know about that!" Donnie stressed hands held out as if he could grab at the words that would tell him about that experience.

"Anyway, while there, I was a Wizard in the game, and honestly, it was fun getting to use magic."

Don's face fell at that mention, they were a Wizard in the game? an old little itch seemed to flare at that wording, Going so far as to hold and arm over the others as he brushed finger nails over his arm to 'scratch it' and it as fun to use? He slightly shifted his teeth inside his mouth biting down on them. no where as bad as Raph with the biting but Don being a soft shell could bit just as bad as his big brother.

"I mean, magic itself is just a form of science we simply don't understand, don't you think?"

No... Wait did they seriously just make that statment? Don though as his brow knotted up, beak pucking as if he just ate the most sour of lemons ever. Donnie turned up his beak over the MERE idea of another Donatello uttering such NONESENSE! Fixing amber eyes squarely on to them. Waiting. Giving them a chance to state this was purely a joke of some sort that they didn't mean it.

Oh were they serious?

"Magic itselc is just a form of science?" He repeated "MAGIC itself is just a form of SCIENCE!" there was suddenly an odd crack in his voice, even as he moved and gestured with his hand out toward them as he was trying to comphend what they just said to him. Only for a laugh, but not a good one even if he found himself doubling over now holding himself around the waist as he well froced that odd laugh out of himself once he repeated that once more "Magic it self is just a form of science! Snapping on full disbelief!" That odd little quirk he had to narrate what his emotion was in the moment. An old habit due to how he was and his brothers needing the verbal wording to help them understand what he was feeling.

Moving to stand up straight now "OOOOH my friend you ate so WRONG it be laughable, even if I had indeed laughed over this." He gose to point out woth a shrug of his shoulders. "BUT you!" Aiming a finger at them "dare insult the study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world. And compare it to magic." He used his hand to mimick mouth movement just now. "Oh yes clearly just the whole display if waving around some wooden trinket about well mumbling out the NONESENSEICAL! Thrown about words to produce some spark." He rolled his eyes "pfft sicene was the mother of fireworks nice try magic! Oh how the slice of an odachī blade slices air to create a portal HA too back its easy to portal jack!. Portals created through science? HA all the curcits and wiring can't be tampered by greedy paws!" Was that specific? "Oh oh I know how about a aura that engulfs one in a full gaint version of them self? To bad its resist busts! Pft gaint robotic enegring never has that issue!" Yeah this was starting to sound personal, even donnies eyes seemed to flicker as he contuined his ranting "or magical fire! From what basically functions as a yoyo!" Arma throw out infront of himself as another bit of light worked on the purple patterns on his arms.

Shoulders moved up and down as he was breathing hard and fast, needing a moment as he set his hands flat against each other. Resting his forhead to fringer tips. "I can't believe one of my counterparts would use a crutch like magic. No wonder you, bo staff, is wooden." He states, glaring at them from the side. There is something about how he says it, though. It is not so much an insult as it should be, but as if he was admitting something in between his statements. Eyes only flicked back forward at the sound of Raph's voice. They weren't meant to have grouped up sometime ago, and of course, the eldest got worried when neither Donatellos were around. Having gotten caught up with this discussion. Donatello clearly still steaming as he walked over towards Raph, now to meet them but instead to pass them up. "Raffla, it seems your friend" because he wanted no association with them now "here would like to explore more of the city. Why don't ya watch him, Kay? Cool ill head home." Metal arm reaching out to pat Raphael's shoulder as the soft shell contuied on with. "It's not like I need some magician wannabes help ANYWAY!"
