The thing about the new movie is that as beautiful and amazing as it is, so many moments got trampled/erased.

Most people's POVs/internal monologues were cut off and that's what makes every spike, every serve, every block, every dig so special!! They showed most of the highlights in the match but without the backstory/monologues people don't know why they're so important or iconic.

The movie was beautiful, I loved it. But I also really really wish we had more. I wish all of these characters that we have grown to love over the years in THE MATCH of the series had gotten the attention they deserved.

Also, if they intend to follow this same method for the next movie, I'm terrified they will gloss over my absolute favourite moment in the entire series when Asahi learns to trust in himself and it is SUCH an important internal dialogue he has with himself. I think it's a big enough moment to be included but I'm still scared.

However there is alot of people who say that Fleetway Super Sonic is basically the original Dark Super Sonic and even will have Super Sonic introduce himself as Fleetway is fics when he really shouldn't.
