Gareth Thomas’s BBC Wales documentary explores historic views of HIV = death, fights HIV stigma, including by talking to others living with HIV in Wales and the Terrence Higgins Trust, all while training for Ironman Wales.

HIV stigma today is very clear in the documentary when Gareth Thomas and his family were hounded by ‘journalists’ (*cough* The Sun *cough*), even telling his parents that he was living with HIV before Gareth himself had been able to tell them. Here, Gareth Thomas tells his own story.

That story about the Sussexes meeting TZ was bogus, if I remember correctly it was written after deux moi publicised their weekly sightings. My guess is they hoped for a correction from either couple but didn’t get any. Can I just say how disappointed I was when I saw TZ had done an interview with The Sun during their NWH. So I googled don’t buy the sun and could only find articles related to a sports protest of the sun, so i googled “the sun Rowling” and found an article talking about the backlash emma Watson got for criticizing Rowling and an article from the daily record (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/celebrity/jk-rowlings-ex-husband-reveals-22178949.amp) where they asked Rowling’s ex husband for his opinion on Rowling’s statements about the abuse she suffered and he said that he slapped her, but wasn’t sorry because he didn’t consider it sustained abuse.
