i like several songs off the new taylor swift album (make whatever moral judgements you want about this) but/and i am fascinated by her bad metaphors similes etc. there's a "rusting my shining summer" that implies her summer is made out of iron instead of any sexier metals. there's an "i got cursed like eve got bitten" which has left me totally baffled because i thought (perhaps so wrongly) eve got tempted by the snake in a nonviolent fashion BUT she very much did bite into the apple so perhaps a reversal is in play? tried to google this but realized i would rather perish than go on websites about christianity to better understand miss swift. will continue to snuffle in the dirt of ignorance

GUYS I just realized sth crazy while watching this tiktok….I think the reason Taylor has red hair in so many mvs is bc it’s a play on the term RED HERRING. Red HAIR(RING).
