in other news, I've been binging My Lv999 Love For Yamada-kun since the anime finished airing and hhhhhhhh it's so wholesome, but also it's had me feeling thoroughly Some Kind of Way™ this past week seeing how fast their relationship escalates past the chapters that were animated! I meant to pace myself so I don't catch up and run out of chapters so soon, but I've ended up feverishly reading it on my work breaks and at night and now I'm like 20 chapters from current a-ahaha............. at risk of reusing my words because it's late and I am dumb I just love this kind of dynamic, when the slow-burn payoff finally hits and it turns into a feverish escalation of events... that's the good shit, I had forgotten how much I missed being this invested in a series and how alive it makes you feel, being all like "WHEN ARE THEY GONNA CONFESS? OK NOW WHEN ARE THEY GONNA KISS? OH THEY'RE FUCKING NOW? EXCELLENT" lol
