Fluid and sleek as she trod lightly, embracing the lab like she had been born and raised within its walls. “You gonna match my base rate salary? Double it? Triple? Looking at this place, you should.” She welcomed the robotic whistles and chirps as they blinked to life. Caressed the attentive holographic monitors of respiratory rates, enzyme levels, other rising and lowering numbers, waving bars, and heartbeats per minute— all of it, designed to detect organic presences, even his. Xo was standing in the midst of it all, clear-eyed and strong and right. She always said she’d feel small and insignificant in a daunting research facility with its tall white walls and sterile waxed floors swallowing her whole. Now, with her looking at him— all doe-like with that reddened, concentrated pucker of her lips that hopelessly snared him with raw thrall— just a smart, tiny thing, Miguel knew. This body, this woman, here, was right. (He was done for.) “Are you really saying you would be okay if… if I walked around?” The teasing lilt in her voice was dizzying, sweetened with a dulcet flavor that he could feel in his teeth. “Made un cafecito for me and for you before my rounds and your very important Spider Society business?” If Miguel rubbed his eyes and let them wander, fighting against a heated roar that agitated his blood, he knew he was witnessing the unsavory future he was punished to endure in a live theatre. “You gonna whine if people watch you pass by and go, ‘There goes Dr. Solano’s husband’.” One diminutive fist slowly came to nestle in the junction between her waist and jutted hip, accompanying a knowing smirk. Your move, she teased with that pose, nipping at him like a rowdy puppy. Miguel accepted this moment for retaliation, clamping his razored canine down on his tongue and rolling one sculpted shoulder back to feign nonchalance. “Only if you don’t scowl when they call you Mrs. O’Hara.” It was worth it, Miguel supposed, to see her face flare up with frustration. Nostrils venting imaginary smoke and critical pout. “Hm? Would it be okay then?” Xiomara lifted a brow, unafraid to breach the modicum of space he reserved for himself. Shark-like. Wise and innocently brutal. Moving her shoulders one way and reaching past him to move a small window close to her convenience. Flooding his senses with her. Condemning every bone in his body to scorch in petrification. “What about when I bring out a defibrillator for sudden ventricular tachycardia?” “What?” Miguel was surprised he could say anything that wasn't a tapered, jaded bark to try and rebuild the indifference that fell apart around him. “138…” she mused. He looked at her curiously and mischief danced along the curve of her pillowy lips. She used the pads of her fingers to enlarge a rapidly increasing digit. “Your heart rate, papito.” (A stone lodged in his throat. Maybe it was that racing heart, clogging his larynx like hers just did.)

Real person or visual methaphor?

Whole Dr. Stone fandom is pretty shocked, confused, scared and even kinda mad after chapter 138. I think I’m after that first wave of shock already and here is part where logical thinking comes back. Boichi is well known for creating visuals metaphors for many situations in Dr. Stone. He draws that to show scary forces in Dr. Stone. We saw that with sulfuric acid and storm.

Now let’s go back to Whyman. He got that skull visual methaphor because characters thought it was scary and skull was easiest thing to imagine because they don’t have image of Whyman. They still picked human skull as visuals because they still think they are against another person. What I’m going with this is last page from chapter 138. Our squad just heard Senku’s voice on the phone which tried to make a command. What if that was another visual methaphor? Characters probably just imagined scary version of Senku because it was scary experience. This Whyman is at least able to change his voice and he knows about Senku in particular. Now let’s go back to fake Senku visual so I can back up my point about it being only visual - Yeah this someone looks exactly like Senku so people are talking about him being his father or brother or AI that somehow took form of Senku not only in voice. Now look what is he wearing - lab coat in Senku style. But that’s not the biggest point. Look to what is Whyman talking - He is talking into old fashioned phone which Senku created with this megaphone looking microphone. Are you telling me Whyman doesn’t have better technology than Senku? Are you telling me that somehow he has same cellphone like Senku? That’s pretty ridiculous.

So my point is Whyman doesn’t have to be anyone related to Senku and skull visual of him just got replaced by scary Senku because of him speaking in Senku’s voice. Don’t lie to me that you don’t imagine person’s face that voice belongs to on the other side of phone. It’s really natural. We probably got all fooled by Inagaki and Boichi. Unless they want to convince us that we went from goot theory about Senku’s relative or AI into wrong theory about it being visual and go back to first theory that it was actually Senku’s relative or AI in Senku shape. Inagaki and Boichi are really playing with us hard. Now I will just calm down because it’s also possible that we won’t get any status update on Whyman another 30 chapters and we are just panicking for no reason and we should save that to time until we will get back to him. But with Island arc being done it’s very likely that they will go after Whyman from this point on in next arc.

GSC really emailed me a day before Abbacchio's birthday to let me know they were delaying my nendoroid for another month. I think it'd be hilarious if they shipped him or if I got him on Giorno's birthday and I'm going to be disappointed if that's not the case. Everything I was watching ended last week. Dr. Stone (omg, my comfort show, I love it so much and miss it already, it's so fun), The Promised Neverland (which......what the fuck was that? They could've kept it and saved themselves and us the time. The only thing worth a damn was seeing my bb Phil and how much he loves Emma. The opening and the ending were good too.), Jujutsu Kaisen (OMFG SO GOOD and the animation is god tier, the way they explain shit serves as a reminder of what a dumbass I am because it kind of confuses me in a way that not even Nen ever did.) and the only obvious one around these here parts lmao Attack on Titan.

Dr. Stone is getting another season (Yay!!!) and I'm excited to see that character they teased at the end, every manga reader seems to love him. I had a feeling Jujutsu Kaisen's prequel would get an OVA or movie and it did, which is great but boo at having to wait even longer for it because it's a movie. I gotta be honest, I'm tempted to jump into the manga for both of these but I don't know if I'll actually do it and if I do, I might just read at my own pace instead of speeding through shit to get caught up. I don't know, I guess I'll see.

I want fanart of Yuji, Nobara and Megumi as The Three Stooges for no other reason than just cause. The need came to me after I realized just how much Megumi slaps Yuji around. Nobara would haaaaaaaaaate that shit though but she can be Larry, Yuji can wear a bald cap and be Curly and Megumi can be Moe with a terrible chili bowl wig. Perfect.

At the start of the season with only 16 episodes, I was a little afraid they were gonna go the movie route for Attack on Titan's final arc. Aside from not wanting to wait years to see it, they'd have to trim A LOT of shit if they wanted to just do one movie. My luck with this show has been them cutting and changing the shit I most wanted to see, so..... Then they started slowing down the pacing half way through the season and I started to have more hope in it just being a split season with the final half at a later date. Then the triple-decker shit sandwich that was chapter 138 dropped and I suddenly stopped giving a fuck. lmfao I'm glad they went with a split season deal though and I'm laughing at all the entitled, pretentious fanboys who were acting like they were owed MULTIPLE movies with like.....Akira/Ghost in the Shell level animation because, "SnK iS a MaStErPiEcE, iT deSeRvEs An ImMaCuLaTe AdApTaTiOn" yadda, yadda, yadda......yeah....no. Eat Shit. 🖕

Anyway, Sunday can't come fast enough and it better not disappoint. 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
