Dance Party
I walk into my office, and realize it looks like someone dropped a metric ton of paper in there. Rather than grumble, I decide this situation calls for some tunes. The refiling goes quickly, but... turns out if you play Queen... the Foundation's Elder Statesmen are amused.
It's my day off, and instead of loafing about, I'm in my office, hip deep in reports. Welp, not going to find anything here unless I sort it out, refile everything, and shoot the next unauthorized person caught in my filing cabinets with a rubber band trebuchet. I fire up a music app, turn on my wireless speaker, and get on with it. For some reason, the dulcet tones of Freddie Mercury are the soundtrack my app chose. Nothing wrong with the classics, right? I shrug and get to work. Before long, I'm shaking my groove thing and halfway through my task. It's not until the bass line to "Another One Bites the Dust" kocks in I realize I'm being watched. It's three of my favorite members of Site Command, Drs. Gears, Glass, and Agent Strelnikof. Dr. Gears looks amused, as amused as he gets anyway. Agent Strelnikof is bobbing his head along. Dr. Glass is trying his best to bite his tongue. After a moment, he loses the battle.
"Hmm. A-Line dress, Mary Jane heels, and taste. I shouldn't be surprised, yet I am, quite pleasantly."
"In that case, Doc... wanna dance?" Glass goes red, looks at Dr. Gears. Slight nod from Big Boss, a tiny, subtle go-ahead. We start dancing, an awkward shuffle-dance that's not going to win a competition anytime soon. Dr. Gears shakes his head and walks away. He's got the tiniest smirk on his face. Agent Strelnikof is close behind. As they leave, Dr. Gears makes a rare offhand comment.
"Well, I clearly don't need to worry too much about Rabbit making her own amusements. But... perhaps we should give Dr. Glass some dance lessons? I've seen less embarrassing shuffling out of 008 victims."

Short Lesson 1- Name that Face!
Alyssa Payne
LSSL 5368
Dr. Kinnaird
March 2, 2022
  Library/Information Skills Lesson Plan
Name that Face!
            Subject Area Integrated:  Fine Arts
  Grade Level:  Kindergarten-1st Grade
Information & 21st Century Skill Objectives:
Explore
Domain B. Create
Learners will engage with new knowledge in order to generate products that illustrate learning.
  TEK: Knowledge and Skills
2 Creative Expression:
Use body to express emotions and create dramatizations.
    Materials:
Books: Copy of I Was So Mad by Mercer Mayer
Paper: Construction or white computer paper
Coloring tools: Map Pencils or crayons. Librarian discretion.
    Instructional Procedures:
Librarian will have the students sit down for a read aloud.  Librarian will read the book I Was So Mad by Mercer Mayer.  As you are reading, you can point out the different expressions that the main character is making with the face and ask what kind emotions he/she might be feeling.  You can talk briefly about emotions and how our faces can tell people how we feel.  When the book is over, you can tell them that they need to go around and make a face with the emotion you call out. For example, if you call out Happy, they will need to go around and make a happy face to three people without saying a word.  You do this for a series of three-four rounds.  Once they are done, you have them go the tables where you will have paper and coloring tools.  You will then have them draw out a face and one expression of their choice.  They can make their face happy, sad, or mad.  They will not tell people what is happening in their picture.  They will share at the table and see if people can guess their face.
    Suggested Instructional Strategies:
You can have 1st grade students work in partners to create a face.
You can read another story and then ask them to create a face of what the character might look like.
Assessment:  Students will turn in their face picture to you or their teacher when they are finished.

*crawling out of gremlin cave* good evening all!! it’s been a hot minute
this was mainly another style test as i try and get used to comfortably stylizing characters. so i may or may have not exaggerated some proportions due to that. it was fun tho! i was supposed to shade but i got lazy shdjdjfjf. do let me know wether or not y’all like/don’t like this sort of character design
