is restless, always feeling the need to do something and be proactive

is indecisive and anxious, but also incredibly impulsive once he actually comes to a decision

never thinks things through, never plans things and always goes w the flow

easily succumbs to addiction/has a hard time breaking bad habits

hyperfocuses on certain projects to the point of losing sleep and once even literally went to fucking china to track down a lead

devoured books at an alarming rate as a kid, but doesn't seem to really read much anymore except for statements

okay so i think i've finally found a way to explain intrusive thoughts to neurotypical people: intrusive thoughts are like pop-up ads. they're annoying, horrible to look at and incredibly distracting. did you ask for the pop-up ad to be there? no. is it there anyways, does it seem to never go away no matter how many times you click, making it hard to focus on anything else? that's exactly what intrusive thoughts are like. they show up out of nowhere in our day-to-day lives and are like a slap to the face, no matter how many times it happens
