Action pose, color, and texture practice featuring various MTF members who have been tragically [DATA EXPUNGED], one Alto Clef, and one unkillable D-class whose name and tale I am unable to recall at time of posting (past 2 am) but who's haunted me for the last 6 months by being remarkably good at surviving deadly explorations. I wanted to make these into a series based on an inside joke, and I might still do that once i've actually slept. Hopefully will be able to update over the weekend and do some more stuff, esp Dr. Rights! Rambling about various notes below the cut.

Deliberately went for a black and white look on the MTF uniforms, trying to experiment with texture and shading while accounting for a) limited shades of grey and b) mediocre camera quality. This isn't something you'd wear to hide per sé, but it works well in an alternate reality.

Sketches are arranged by order in which I found the poses. I was initially gonna do all 6 as MTFs, but the dual-gun was so stupid and absurd I had to put Clef in it. If it wasn't obvious, the first agent is attacking an eldritch creature off-screen, second one is scrambling as a whirlpool (dimensional) is forming, third one is charging into a barehands fight, and the fourth is releasing an explosive midair. None of them are likely to live but that's not the goal here.

Clef's shirt is based off of one I own but simplified and he is, in fact, wearing lime green crocs. Lowkey actually peeved that i can't remember anything about the D-class except a vague summary of the scp she was in but she was so wonderfully written and interesting to me that I can't help imagining all the weird shit she'd survived until that moment, and the shit she'd run into in the coming future. Both of her and Clef's backgrounds can be interpreted as a reality bender fucking with them, or as a dramatic fight effect (or, in Clef's case, he thought it would look cool and who are we to stop him). I am so damn tired and I did not draw the guns correctly but i cannot care atp, they're done and they didn't bleed into the sketch, and that is all one can ask for past 2 am. happy scp everyone

I know Kishin would never hurt anyone so the scenario of him getting blood ever near his mouth is rare. But what if he went to help someone who got hurt and when he was helping to bandage up their wound, blood spurts onto his face, and some of it got into his mouth? Or he swiped the sweat off his face and got the blood that was on his hands on his face and got some in his mouth. What would happen to Kishin if this happened? And could wisteria flowers help him ward off any demon side effects?

Well, starting with what happens to Kishin if a little blood gets in his mouth... He faints

Kishin gets so desperate and he has such an aversion to blood that he just faints like that.

One time this happened and Irina was terrified thinking that Kishin had some kind of allergic reaction and died, so she called Dr. Antares and he calmed her down.

And now about the wisteria flowers, they have a totally different effect on Kishin.

They make him drunk.

Kishin forgets that he gets totally drunk when he eats these flowers and so he eats them every now and then xD

OC Wardrobe

@12thhouse-sun tagged me in this fun little OC outfits game.

RULES: Post pictures of your character's wardrobe and put your OC in the center. It can be other people wearing the clothing, it's just a moodboard.

I went hunting through Pinterest to find some outfits that look like the sort of handmade, rustic, primal amalgamations Miri would wear in her day to day.

Belts, leather, basic linens and plenty of furs.

She loves natural materials and crafting all her own things. But she's definitely self-conscious about her scars and tries to keep them covered.

Their allotpun is 'dread ongoing' (or 'ongoing dread'), and they're part dog & part rat!♡ It's rlly into brightly-colored aesthetics/fashion, especially scene, and it also adores cute things! (Plushies, cogs, etc etc.)

I don't have much else for h1m atm since I made h1m probably literally just yesterday, but I'm hoping to make some small posts abt h1m regarding h1s backstory or personality in the future! ♡

Our Wonderful Headquarters!

"In Zooge, we elected to put our headquarters near the center of our Forest sector, with the building as it appears on our map, as well as an interior map pictured above.

Our HQ is not only where our Upper Managment work, but also where we live.

It only feels right to introduce the people who call this building home first!

First would be one Mrs. Hong Meiling, who formerly served as our head of security in our previous incarnation, but has since been moved to Head Zookeeper (which admittedly means her job hasn't really changed). She's in charge of training all our keeper staff, as well as testing how safe any given creature we house is for staff to be around. She might have one of the more dangerous jobs out of everyone in this Zoo!

Next is our new Head of Security Ms. Rei'sen! Her job is pretty simply to... deal with anyone who is causing problems, if you catch my drift. While she is rather young, she does have extensive military background (and a drinking problem to match), so she's more than qualified. Hell, she's already FRIED multiple... problems we've ran into with that ray gun she keeps in her room. (We've since told her to use a pistol she keeps on her person, as the ray gun doesn't leave usable remains).

Then there is our lovely Ms. Alice! She is the lady who co-founded Zooge (along side myself) after all! While I am more of a machinist, she focuses more on magic, something we have had to work with FAR more than one would think. We founded Zooge together out of a shared interest in the studies of the strange and wonderful creatures of this world of ours.

And of course last up is me! Your very own Dr. D Clownberg. I'm the man in charge! And the one who took on doing all the promotional material (because Gods know that the Tengu can't be trusted with that). I used to be something of a Monster Hunter (hense the Lich head I keep in my quarters), but my real goal has always been study of what I once called prey. Now, (with help of our generous benefactor) we can make this dream of mine a reality.

But that's enough on us, how's about we tour the building?

To guests, all they will see upon entering is the front door...

And the information desk, where one of us (usually Alice) will help with information. While everything past this room is staff only, we have collectively agreed that we'd show the rest of HQ as something of a transparency thing.

Once you enter, you likely first see our kitchen and dining area (as the table is right there), which has all the basics we need. We do not feel a need to live in luxury, just to be more than comfortable.

That is then followed by our general area, with seating and a table for us to hang around at. We also have a TV, which we don't use for it's intended purpose too terribly often. We have many books around (mostly in mine and Alice's rooms), so we mostly do alot of reading (except Rei'sen, We're still unsure if she is literate).

Next up is the basement, which only really has our Waystone and room for Ben to roam around. There is nothing else in the basement. You don't need to worry about the basement. You are not to go into the basement."

The section on the basement is whited out, and what's writen above is writen in it's place. There is also a clear tear in the pamphlet, and the next section is crudely re-attached to where something else once was.

"Next up is our more personal quarters. Each of the doors in this hallway leads to a room. The three on the right are Meiling, Alice and Rei'sen's room's specifically, and mine is the second on the left. We agreed to not cover our rooms aside from introducing ourselves. So that leaves the other two on the left.

First is the bathroom. I didn't go in to take this photo, but it's a bathroom. Pretty damn unassuming. We have a toilet, a tub, and a sink. The real only thing of note is that this is the only one we have in the building, which is a minor annoyance I guess.

So yeah! I'll use this to say that if y'all want to ask me Zooge related questions, I'll gladly answer, and try to answer in character! I'll also note that I'm both willing to drop the pack here if you want it, and I'll also state I am NOT posting these exhibits as they finish. HQ was the second thing I built (first was Peeker's Woods), and I do have an excess of exhibits to post! So yeah!

I'm not sure if that question was already asked once but I noticed in book 2 that you often use OC's to call out character when they do something rash or stupid like mainly Jesse and Olivia is that on purpose to give them more character or interactions with the main cast? Maybe I haven't noticed but it feels like they don't get called out for things as much as the Ninjas except for Olivia since she and Nya are fighting now with Olivia having consequences in the future and being called out by Nya a little are we also going to see that with Jesse and maybe future ocs? Or is he just not going to make screw ups to get called out for? Is that just his role in the group? I'd love to see him get called out for something or fighting with the cast not just Kai, not because I don't like him bit because I'd like to see him in more situations like that

It's not their only purpose, but in their primary introductions, it was a way to set them apart from the main cast + establish the differences in their thinking compared to the characters that were already there. Basically like a subtle thesis on why they even exist and/or are present in the first place (not the case for more minor OCs tho, like Jesse's family or Samantha or Mr. Menloi, etc).

But in that case of the OCs, all of them are going to have their lapses in judgement that'll have consequences; I just can't say anytime soon because none of them are a primary focus at the moment (Thanks, Lloyd)

This is interesting because out of all my ocs they're the ones where I'm less sure about where my inspo came from🤔 especially when it comes to Elias he very much developed as my art improved 👇 here's his earliest design (tw old art...)

By drawing him over and over and using blueish tints over my art all the time he got pinker and pinker and he ended up getting a design that's a little more sleek and cohesive. My main inspos for him were the vtmb toreador fledgling (because he used to be my toreador pc until i decided i liked him being a fledgling too much and changed it so he's the childe of the og toreador fledgling) and with time i ended up getting more and more inspired by other media, for example mahito from jjk, someone's nsfw oc that will go unnamed lmfao, and i started referencing irl people when drawing him to get a feel for proportions and to make his design more consistent. My main inspo is fernando lindez (though they rarely end up looking very alike) and what I try to replicate in Elias are his eye shape and his general facial proportions, i like how all of his features are close together in a way that feels kind of feminine and pretty.

When it comes to Brooklyn instead my inspos are more clear though her design kind of came naturally with me just messing around while practising how to paint darker skin tones. She is also a vtmb fledgling redesign (this time the malkavian one) and one of their clan stereotypes is that they usually get heterochromia. I didn't like the idea of just giving her different eye colors (though that's what ended up happening LMAO) and i looked into like. Pretty pictures of eye trauma😭 examples down here nothing graphic imo

This is not exactly what i had in mind at the time but it's similar so. Just kind of randomly evolved into her whole eye being white as i messed up painting. When it comes to her general design I wanted an excuse to draw lots of fun hairstyles without going against vtm canon (vampires are stuck w the same appearance forever) and whenever I design characters i like to steer kind of minimalistic, so i often end up with making the eyes and hair the same colours because I dont want them to get too busy or overwhelming. I can't even point out specific inspos for her because it's just a very common trope (tempest, yue from atla, 5000 different ocs) but when it comes to irl influences i was inspired by Anok Yai because I'd seen her in an interview and fell in love with her + a lot of other dark skin black super models. That's the main thing with brooklyn she has to give supermodel and very put together which kind of contrasts with her personality being. Completely unhinged. Anyways I don't really reference her much anymore because Brooke's features just kind of fit very nicely with my same face syndrome but here's Anok Yai for fun ^^

Now, recently, she happened upon a very illegal puzzle.

I might have stolen her magic phone machine, and happened upon her solution. It involved my kind, and one Dr. Afton.

If I'm not mistaken, you are a Dr. Afton, physicist, fiancé of Mia Stone, teacher... third floor, apartment one. And none of you have long eyes... Ehm. Sorry.

I was not parented by humans, though. I believe I was born to one of my kind, and left to my fate somewhere on the outskirts of a farm, but it's amusing to think I have such a things as a family.
