putting together a list of each leader for each Neopian land, here's what I've come up with:

Altador: King Altador (plus his council)

Brightvale and Meridell: Ruled by the brothers King Hagan and king King Skarl (unsure how that works but just go with it)

Maraqua: King Kelpbeard

Darigan: Lord Darigan (he and Altador have their kingdoms named after them)

Roo Island: King Roo (has a crippling gambling addiction)

Faerieland: Queen Fyora (obscenely OP)

(Side note: like none of the above have queens/kings so it's unknown who would succeed them)

The Haunted Woods: anarchist hellhole. Neovia has a mayor but he may or may not be a bug (don't worry about it)

Neopia Central: anarchist hellhole

Jelly World: anarchist hellhole

Lost Desert: two rulers for each city (Princess Amira in Sakhmet and King Jazan in Qasala. No I don't know why Amira is still considered a princess)

Krawk Island: Governor is Gavril McGill, no leader beyond that

Kiko Lake: Has a mayor

Moltara: Also has a mayor, which is confusing as they're not near or part of a larger land

Mystery Island: Has a council of elders and at least one coconut god (don't ask)

Terror Mountain: most likely the Keeper of Time, which for the record is an incredibly cool name

Shenkuu: Has an emperor and actually has two children to succeed him for a change (Princess Lunara and Princess Terrana)

Tyrannia: Ruled by a council of elders (for some reason it's like one of the only non-town republics)

Kreludor: Seemingly ruled by both brothers Zorlix and Xarthab, making them like Hagan and Skarl if they were like 20% more competent

Virtupets: Was ruled by Dr. Sloth, a mad scientist dictator (don't worry about it)

Shoutout to @martincrushcameback for putting a bunch of incredible Wild Kratts art and AUs on my dash. I'm now considering a Wild Kratts/TMNT crossover AU.

Maybe Zach finds out about TGRI and infiltrates to get new tech and accidentally creates a new mutant animal of some variety. The sets of brothers meet whislt tracking down said mutants.

There's a brief confusion about if the turtles are mutants in question or wearing modified creature power suites built from stolen tech and in cahoots with Zach.

The Foot or Dragons attack because of course they do, it's for the plot they mistake the Kratts for new mutants and their Beat Up Mutants instincts taken over.

One of the Kratts (probably Martin since he's the more reasonable one) is knocked out and Dr. Don takes over and gets him down the lair (the Tortuga is out of range for plot reasons. Idk maybe Donita happened to show up at April's shop completely by coincidence and Aviva and crew go off to investigate).

Chris fills the turtles in on who he and his brother are and explain their apparent shape-shifting abilities and Donny is clearly enamored with the tech, but is being respectful and that's enough to convince Chris he and the rest of the boys are cool ans definitely not in cahoots with Zach.

Martin comes to with a shakey memory of the past hour or so and is momentarily convinced he's been captured by Zach and is trying to sneak around the lair and due to the demand for comic relief attempts to tackle Raph in order to rescue his baby brother.

He is successful in knocking Raph over, but Leo manages to nab him almost immediately. Chris explains everything very cheerfully and as if his concussed brother hasn't just woken up in a sewer.

The rest of the Tortuga crew show up and Donny and Aviva are instant besties, as are Mikey and Jimmy, and Koki and Raph.

Leo and Martin bond over "This is serious, you guys, can you please act like it?" and general big brotherness

Raph and Chris bond over. "I love you, big bro, but I do know what I'm doing stop worrying" and general "I'm not a kid"-ness (Mikey gets in on it too)

At some point Mikey find out about Chef Gourmand and just goes "One of your bad guys just like...cooks stuff? That's not that bad."

Chris folds his arms and replies "First of all they're endangers species, second of all you bad guy is named after a kitchen utensil, I don't wanna hear it."

Mikey doubles down a little. "Like, yeah, that's definitely not cool but like...none of your villains tried to off you or anything?"

"Not really? I mean, yeah, Zach one time dangled me over a vat of mechanical Piranhas, and tried mind controlling us, and once Chef Gourmand subtly threatened to cook me, but I don't think either of them would ctually follow through with it."

And Mikey just blinks like, "Dude, I would have taken you so much more seriously if you'd led with the threat of cannibalism. That's hardcore."

Mikey is just constantly roasting the Kratts over their weird and mildly lame villains. Chris pouts about this the whole time.

Amid all the shenanigans Casey is either used as a distraction by being a model for Donita, or accidentally ends up as a model for Donita. Either way he's confused the whole time and April finds the whole thing hilarious.

April, Aviva, and Kiko are unstoppable together and end up saving the day.

Human babies are one thing, but a titan baby? A whole new level. Ilene's mood swings are so unpredictable; one minute she's fine, the next her desk is broken in half. She developed an unusual appetite for meat. Cooked or raw doesn't matter. Her sexual desire is off the charts too. Kong is often the one sore.

How did you all meet your darlings? What was your first impression of them?
