Somehow Re:Dracula has made the polycule even more believable to me then before. I was fully onboard with it last year but this year I'm even more on board with it.

Valentine's cards for the Dracula polycule

All cards are authentic Victorian Valentine's cards taken from the Museum of London collection.

From Mina to Lucy, because this is sweet just like they are.

From Mina to Jonathan, in recognition of the long distances they've travelled together.

From Arthur to Jonathan, because he's still amused by the "Judge Moneybags" thing.

From Dracula to Lucy, a suitably sinister Valentine's card.

On the left, from Renfield to Seward, because there's nothing more romantic than a dead bird.

On the right, from Van Helsing to Seward, because he does love to call Seward maidenless.

From Lucy to Arthur on the left, because I think she'd like the old-fashioned theme of the card. From Arthur to Lucy on the right, in anticipation of their wedding day.

From Jonathan to Mina, his beloved train fiend <3 He can't decide which one he likes better, so he sends her both.

From Seward to Quincey on the left, and Quincey to Seward to on the right. I hope we all agree that the rivals should kiss.

I think Mina should get Valentine's cards from all the Boys.

Arthur gives her a most beautiful and ornate card with with gold leaf and different types of lace. Jack writes her a poem, simple, heartfelt, and yet Mina knows how much effort it took. Van Helsing sends her a lengthy message within an austere card with a church and angels on it. Lastly, Jonathan gives her a pretty homemade card with a message written in shorthand, so that no one else in the household can read the message except for the two of them.

Then this so sweet maid is a polyandrist, and me, with my poor wife dead to me, but alive by Church's law, though no wits, all gone—even I, who am faithful husband to this now-no-wife, am bigamist.

The polycule is canon!

Dr. Seward is living his best life going on a horse chase adventure with the person he imagined Jonathan to be like before he met him that first time. I just know that if he had the time and his phonograph he would have spent five whole minutes describing Quincey as an action hero. I just know it.

Ahahaha never did I truly believe that Jonathan’s baby would be canonically implied to be named Quincey Art Jack Abraham Harker that’s so iconic

Was explaining the Plot (tm) of Dracula to my friends and I talked about how everyone loves Mina, as they should, and there's lots of handholding and vows and handkissing to protect and honor her to which my friends asked, "...is this a reverse harem romance?" And you know what, IT IS NOW BABY

Catching up on Dracula Daily and just wanted to talk about the most lesbian lines in the girls initial letters to each other

Mina to Lucy:

“I am longing to be with you, and by the sea, where we can talk together freely and build our castles in the air.” She just wants to be with her

“It must be so nice to see strange countries. I wonder if we—I mean Jonathan and I—shall ever see them together.” The fact that she feels the need to specify that the we is Jonathan makes me feel like she was originally thinking of her and Mina traveling to strange countries together

Lucy to Mina:

“I have nothing to tell you. There is really nothing to interest you.” Why wouldn’t the man you’re in love with be interesting to your ‘best friend’ Lucy? 🤨🧐

“Mina, we have told all our secrets to each other since we were children; we have slept together and eaten together, and laughed and cried together” they are each others person

“I wish I were with you, dear, sitting by the fire undressing, as we used to sit” AY YO

In conclusion, they are in LOVE and should be allowed to be together and also have husbands.
