Modern Fantasy Monsters: Just cute things I imagined

Slimes are very tactile. Slimes love to hug, hold, and or touch others to show their affection. They like to touch others because their outer slime acts like a huge hand and helps them recognize who’s Infront of them. 

Dragonfolk only allow certain people touch their scales in their draconic form. In their semi-human form they still show scales along their skin (most of them are along their back, shoulders, forearms, legs, and lower back). If you scratch a dragon along their back near their scales. You can make them purr. 

(Some) Demons are walking hot water bottles. They RADIATE heat off their bodies. Thus, they are pretty huggable during the cold seasons. 

Elves ears twitch and move in relation to their emotions. Also when they blush the tips of their ears flush as well.  

Familiar rescues! Retired or Abandoned Familiars sit around all day being pampered by the workers. Some of them live happily in the rescue while others are adopted out into other families living in a loving home. 

Hell hound variations. Imagine a flaming chihuahua with horns yipping at a three headed poodle!

Angel wings are fluffy as heck, The inner fluff of their wings are super cuddly.

Dismissed from the royal presence, Van-Dal allowed his formal demeanor to relax. His tail flicked behind him as he strode down the corridor, contemplating the work ahead. Contemplating a pair of bright blue eyes. When one of his personal guard fell into step beside him, she rudely glanced down at his tail, and she grinned.

“Where are we off to, then?”

“Nowhere,” Van-Dal said, his gaze pinned unwaveringly forward. “You are staying right here.”

“But—”

“No.”

“Where—”

“No,” Van-Dal repeated, more firmly. Their Seyzharel cousins had scarcely even seen a female of dragonkind since the Killing Days, and Tamn’s offers to maul them in a playful and flirtatious manner would likely only baffle them. She was a diplomatic disaster waiting to happen.

Tamn huffed annoyance through her nose. “So you’re courting someone, then?”

Van-Dal imagined bouncing her head off the nearest pyrite-encrusted sconce. Her arced horns would likely break it. Instead, he bared his teeth at her. “Tamn,” he growled, “your brother has your orders for the duration of my absence. Heed them this time.”

Lavender is a mimic, he imitates things around him both in behaviour and looks. There's certain barriers he cant really go through when it comes to mimicry, and its not even something he ends up doing intentionally. Each time he ‘molts’ his body gradually changes depending on the environments or people he’s been hanging around with. Lavender looks the way he does now for example because he’s indirectly mimicking dragons. Although, he already has some sort of draconic nature on his own. he can be quite intimidating at first, but dont let his appearance fool you. He's quite sweethearted (albeit grumpy most of the time) and very curious about the things around him. Often getting distracted by little bugs or exotic looking plants laying around... he's also quite fond of fish
