Me gusta leer poemas e imaginarme que son mi mar Nado en ellos y a veces te encuentro, en versos de café, lunas y balcones Nado en ellos y te pierdo como aquella noche, con ese beso antes de bajar las escaleras y decir adiós Nado en ellos y dejo mi cuerpo flotar para encontrar el camino de regreso Nado en ellos y al llegar a la orilla sonrío, después de tormentas y días de naufragio Sonrío porque después de nadar, de tanta espuma y corriente, hay paz. Sonrío porque estoy en tierra otra vez. Sonrío porque gracias a todo esto no sólo me gusta leer, sino también escribir Sonrío un poco más, me levanto, me limpio la arena y voy a nadar, otra vez.

Samstagnachmittag, wenn die Tochter schläft, hat der brettspielverrückte Papa Zeit, sich mit etwas Regelkunde zu beschäftigen. 😂 Ich schau immer gerne vorab in die Regeln, damit es dann, wenn man es irgendwann mal spielt, schneller geht mit der Vorbereitung. Macht ihr das auch? Wer bitte träumt nicht von seinem eigenen Dungeon? 🏰⚔️🪙 Heut hab ich mir mal #doodledungeon vorgenommen. Liest sich gut und verständlich. Das Regelwerk ist echt überschaubar. Ob ich das dann noch weiß, wenn wir es spielen? 6eme jour (hier) de mon #1j2sparjour sans ma @luna.rela qui est retournée au boulot, avec #WelcomeToNewLasVegas de @bluecockergames. C'est un #DrawAndWrite de Benoit Turpin et Alexis Allard (pour le solo), illustré par Anne Heidsieck, pour 1 à 50 joueurs, à partir de 10 ans et des parties qui durent en moyenne 35 minutes. Dans ce jeu on incarne de nouveautés architectes 10 ans après #WelcomeTo. Cette fois-ci exit les maisons dans un lotissement et bonjour les casinos dans un projet de "new Las Vegas". Les 2 jeux sont indépendants et si on retrouve quelques similarités avec son aîné, cette version Vegas vous offrira encore plus de possibilités et donc encore plus de dilemmes à résoudre pour devenir le meilleur architecte. Dans les 4 rues les casinos devront être numérotés dans l'ordre croissant (de 1 à 15) pour être valides. Il y a de nouveau 3 projets à valider pour mettre fin à la partie et faire plaisir à la mairesse. La partie peut également s'achever si un joueur a construit tous ses casinos ou si on atteint le bout de la piste d'inauguration. Outre les rues pleines de casinos on aura également des avenues (colonnes) à remplir en parallèle afin d'y construire des grands ou petits hôtels. Il faudra également s'endetter pour acquérir de nouveaux terrains où bâtir des casinos et parvenir à rembourser les dettes contractées au cours de la partie sous peine de perdre 20 points, qui peuvent faire très mal. Cette version est un peu plus complexe dans la mesure où il y a plus de choses à gérer, anticiper et calculer mais elle est tout aussi excellente que la précédente. La gamme fait clairement partie de mes jeux fétiches, le principe est génial et il y a plein de façons différentes de scorer des points et on a souvent des surprises au niveau du scoring final. Comme tous le monde a toujours les mêmes combinaisons à disposition ce sont nos choix qui nous offriront (ou pas) la victoire. A la base j'avais prévu d'y jouer en solo, mais comme j'ai vu ma mère j'ai préféré lui faire découvrir le jeu (qu'elle a beaucoup aimé ^^) et elle m'a battu sur le score de 120 à 104 (mes 40 points de limo perdus ont piqué ^^') #j2s #jeu #boardgames #boardgamer #instagame https://www.instagram.com/p/CBINQ9uniJT/?igshid=1ef56zriswazy

Day 14 • Our Language Arts this Year. Slide >> to see E’s stack. . . ➕Spelling: #soaringwithspelling Level 1. We’re trying this curriculum for the first time after doing Horizons. I love that it’s a similar format but has less words per week (16 vs 5/6). It also includes the definitions of the words which is helpful because: homophones (!) . ➕Reading: #allaboutreading Level 1 + 2, and #LogicofEnglish (has some single sentence writing and short spelling practice in there too related to the phonogram we’re on), Levels 2 + 3. We’ve done other reading programs to teach basics but are enjoying the natural progression of readers using all of the phonogram sounds (I think these are great to do after a basic program). These programs are great for #rightbrainlearning , #dyslexia , #capd or #Apd #creativekids , or #reluctantreaders #reluctantwriters #wigglers. . . ➕ Grammar: We’re doing #firstlanguagelessons levels 2 + 3. My daughter is also finishing the grammar book for #mfwadventures #firstlanguagelessonsfortoday . . ➕Writing: #drawwritenow for M along with the writing exercises in MFW Adventures. #evanmoor ‘s #drawandwrite with How to Write a Paragraph for E. They also do #dictation style writing in science 🔬. . . ➕Vocabulary: Evan Moore’s #wordaday . We do about 4 words a day. . . ➕Public Speaking: this happens usually in the form of #narration throughout the day in most of the things we’re studying for this age, and memorizing/reciting a poem out loud. . ➕Literature: M is reading through some chapter books as part of MFW Adventures - Farmer Boy, Mountain Born, Sarah Witcher’s Story, On the Banks of Plum Creek and a few others. E is reading the book selections from #llatl ‘s orange book. So far his favorite has been #theboxcarchildren - and he can’t wait to get to #thesignofthebeaver . So I guess I’m on a Germany roll... this is a moment I captured in Cologne. It is fairly simple, and not an obvious choice. • • I don’t have a pattern for choosing the pictures I draw. I just go through them until one pulls me in. And something about this one just screamed to me. • • Instagram is filled with an overflow of picture perfect moments, of views that look too unreal. As part of my studies I had an option to take a few art classes, even though it wasn’t my major. So I jumped on the opportunity and took some, more for my soul and fun than anything else. During one specific course, we learned about many different styles, methods and materials. It was an amazing and cultivating course. But out of all the styles, materials and artists we’ve learned, no one captivated me quite like Edward Gorey. If you’ve seen the previous drawings I’ve uploaded, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. I’ve fallen in love with his style and tried to make it my own with my interpretation. It’s not the most complex or unique method I’ve learned, but that also may be exactly why I love it so much. Hoi-An, Vietnam. One of hardest aspects of my Southeast Asia trip, was the laid back mentality of not doing much, if anything at all... people would sit around all day, drinking shakes and smoking. Which is great, but not for me. I have ants in my pants, I need to be moving around, seeing and doing. Which is why I enjoyed Hoi-An so much. Not only because it’s a beautiful and colourful city, but also because there is so much to do and see. I took a cooking class, a crafts class, we took a boat along the river. And my favorite, I got some dresses sewn especially at one of the local sewing shops. I could walk around the streets and alleys all day and not get tired or bored, because there is just so much to see and discover. I was constantly getting surprised and unraveling more sights to see. • • Have you been to Hoi-An? What was your favorite thing about it?
