omg i shot my shot recently and had the audacity to apply for a project that is hard to get accepted to, but i applied anyway.

i got rejected, but i moved on knowing i tried, and was confident that if i got the project, the outcome would have been fire.

i think that’s it. im so confident abt what i do, that rejection is just normal to me now. 🤯

Ho boy. So I’m 100% that person who tries to be hella organized only to fail half the time and become incredibly messy. But I try lol. 

Most of my fics live on Google Docs (unless I’ve backed them up on my personal harddrive, in which case they’re in both places). My ideal method that I try to follow for organizing them is starting the doc name with either WIP, OUTLINE, or COMPLETE so I can easily search fics by those categories. (I often forget to add or change this, so uhhh… yeah)

Most fics don’t get an outline, and some series have multiple fics in one doc, such as my Whumptober and Valentines series. 

And then, of course, Dapple being the beast it was, was divided into nine different google docs, because google doesn’t like a single word doc with more than 100k words in it. So the latest Dapple doc was titled WIP DSPL Arc 4-3 (because arc 3 and 4 also couldn’t fit in one doc)

Fun random fact, Dapple didn’t actually get an outline doc. It had an entire channel in my personal discord server, so I could just randomly ramble all sorts of things in it. It is the most used channel on my discord server as well.

Hmmmm. This one is a bit hard, because when it comes to “weird”, I just assume everything I do is weird, and so nothing registers as “weird” but rather just “that thing I do that may or may not be strange to others”. 

I can say that I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone having a discord channel in their private discord for an outline location? And it may just be because it’s on my mind, but I suppose the pre-sleep daydreaming I mentioned in the last ask might also count as strange to others. But I don’t actually know what constitutes weird to most people (hence why I kinda just assume everything I do is weird, and if it’s not, then oh cool, an exception!)

And currently, I’m sure my cat is saying “God damnit, stop typing and come back to petting me you heathen”
