What happens when you're going through some brain stuff and need to vent? You draw an already mentally fucked character and make him WORSE. God I love some unhinged cuties… but seriously If this happened to me I would be in complete damage-control mode. Im gonna be freaking the hell out internally and nervously try to talk him down. “Y-yeah hun. Of course, I love you! Now… let’s uh get ya cleaned up and read a nice book…” I would say while shaking and panic crying. ( to think, I was initially gonna draw pixie keith...)

Oh I just love Keith and Tenebris so much T-T. they’re so precious and I just want to hold them. I will cuddle the FUCK out of them and drown them in affection I swear. My dumbass would be crocheting so many things to gift them, little origami in random places throughout their apartment, and me just loving pinching their faces. I also think November ultra - come into my arms is such a lovely and sad song to sing to Keith :,<

A/N; this is actually wholesome, btw i felt very gay when combining the colors because i wanted to make it all orange or all blue but then i thought that wouldn't be equitable and i wanted to give them love equally

Ah, young love, so fresh, the romance, the heart beating strongly, the stolen glances, the heavy sighs. The murder, the blood boiling when you notice how someone takes an unpleasant interest in your loved one.

The courtship with Keith and Tenebris was adorable, since you were able to properly meet them things have only gotten better, going out on romantic dates, overnight getaways, and sleepovers.

Although at first it was a bit complicated to… organize times, so to speak, you wanted to spend as much time with Keith as with Tenebris, you adored both of them and you didn't want either of them to feel out of place.

Right now it was just 5 PM, you were about to have a date with your boyfriends! The emotion was so palpable, your style used to vary constantly so once Keith arrived at your home he couldn't help but be surprised, again, you were wearing a different lipstick, your lips shined in carmine just like his face.

"You look exceptional this afternoon" He complimented you, but he didn't come over to kiss you like he did every time he picked you up for a date.

But that didn't mean anything, right? It doesn't matter.

You both went to his favorite place, the place where the bitch waitress you murdered used to work, the food was delicious and you even dared to order a dish outside your comfort zone. The dinner passed calmly, you could chat with Keith, and at times there was a glimpse of blue spots on his skin, Tenebris was also part of the conversation, seeing your boyfriend's disfigured face where they were both trying to be present was complicated, but a greatly appreciated effort for you.

The bright glances they shared caused your heart to bubble, so you moved closer to lock your lips in a kiss.

A kiss that never came.

"Huh? Keith? Tenebris?" Your confused and sad voice came out of your mouth, causing the boys to panic. "Why don't you kiss me?" You finally asked, so it wasn't your imagination, they were avoiding your lips.

Keith immediately tried to explain. "N-no, no! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to imply that, I do want to kiss you, but I didn't want to ruin your makeup-…" And you interrupted him with a kiss.

"You're a fool, but a very adorable one." You kissed his lips again, a loud and tender kiss. "That's exactly why I put on lipstick, to kiss you" You spoke boldly before launching into filling your partner's face with kisses.

Kisses that were no longer rejected.

You both decided to return to your love nest at home, now snuggled up and comfortable in bed, your bodies so close together as you sat on his lap to spread sweet kisses all over his face, lovingly caressing his jaw while he ran his hands along your hips.

It was a special and intimate moment where you could see the evidence of your love staining his face in shades of red.

"I love you" He spoke softly, his voice a little distorted because it was difficult to tell if it was Keith or Tenebris who said it, but does that matter? No, they both loved you and loved being with someone who accepted them. "Gosh, I love you so much, thank you for being with me, us."

"Thank you for not running away," Tenebris commented, making you laugh, although his comment was serious and not a joke.

"I love you so much" You whispered as you placed a kiss on his forehead, leaving the mark of your red lips on his skin.

You even decided to touch up the lipstick, there was something so satisfying about smearing each other with lipstick that made you so happy and obviously the boys too, that strange smile gave it away.

Your partner leaned his back against the mattress to be more comfortable, your body still on top of him was not a bother. Your lips left sleepy kisses on his lips.

"We can't sleep like this, sleeping with makeup on is bad" You mentioned out of nowhere, causing a small laugh from the boy.

"Then let's get cleaned up, then we'll go back to bed and you'll keep kissing me until I fall asleep."

It was already late and your body was too relaxed with the natural scent of Keith's body to get up, but you still both stood up to find your makeup remover. Once ready you returned to the bed, where your bodies stuck together like leeches once again and you received a passionate kiss from Tenebris.

"I know it's late but… can we kiss some more?"

"Of course, love"

• Instead of buying you chocolates or a bouquet of flowers he whittled a wooden heart locket for you with a love message on the back.

• Prepared a picnic under the starry night near the river where a lot of animals come by to drink or rest.

• He would be over the moon if you gave him chocolate filled with honeycomb.

Pointing at the diffrent animals, Alan's head rested on your shoulder as he whispered facts about them. Whenever your eyes met you could see his love & devotion glistering in his eyes.

One of Alan's arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you into a passionate kiss.

Yes, you're sure that this is where you belong, next to your beloved Hatchet Man.

🪴🌹 Keith 🌹🪴

• Makes his own chocolate in the shapes of roses, if you like white chocolate he will even dye them red with green leafs.

• Takes you to a botanique garden, pointing at flowers that remind him of you before revealing their meaning. He also brought a cute, little lunchbox with food that you can share.

• At home you would be pulled into a comfy, cuddle session, while he showers you in kisses and tells you how lucky he is to have you by his side.

• He gives you a bouquet of flowers, it contains red, white (and even a black) Rose, red & white Carnations, pink Asters, magenta Zinnia's, Heliotropes, Hyssops, Sweet Pea's and White Gardenia's.

[Rough Meaning : Sweet love but also eternal obsessive, he will shower you in long lasting affection & won't ever forget you. You make him happy and he's willing to sacrifice anything to stay by your side since you're perfect in his eyes]

[Drabble]

A hand runs through your hair, sweet nothings are whispered into your ear, followed by a kiss on your cheek.

Flowers from the bouquet are tucked behind your ear as you return his affection through kisses, nuzzles and whispered praise.

Causing him to blush as your fingers intertwined at last.

• Failed at making chocolate so he just decorated the cupcakes with it, some slightly resemble those cute animal cupcakes. Just with very melted faces and wonky chocolate ears.

• Tenebris plays a love song that he composed for you on his guitar. If you praise him for it he will blush.

• Doesn't really get why valentines is that important to some people. He also buys the chocolate the next day when it's on sale & shares some of it with you.

• Thought the mistletoe tradition was also used on valentines day. He was very disappointed & confused when he learned that it's a Christmas exclusive thing. ("But it's all about kissing and Valentines is all about this shit! Your kind is really confusing, y'know that?")

[Drabble]

You two sat on the ground, backs leaning against the couch as the sound of button mashing echoed in the room.

Curses, popcorn and the occasional tease were thrown around. A few kisses were thrown in to distract the other from winning the game.

Of course, this lead to where you two are currently now; on the ground, laughing, arms wrapped around each other as Tenebris purrs in delight.

🫀 Casanova🫀

• Will bring you still beating human hearts instead of chocolates. One heart has a love message carved into it but you can barely read it with how mutilated it looks.

• Cooked a fancy dinner for you two, the table would be covered in rose petals with candles illuminating the room.

• Casanova would swoon [And be his overdramatic-self] over whatever gift you give him. Get ready to be praised, hugged and kissed, for best results get him a red & black coloured fancy knife tho.

• If you ever hinted (be it serious or jokingly) interest in owning a chainsaw he would get you a custom one, so that you two could match.

[Drabble]

Sitting next to a grave wasn't what others or you yourself would call romantic. But Casanova just knew how to change that.

Sitting on one of the Valentine gravestone's you listened to him, serenading a love song to you, his duo-coloured eyes never leaving yours.

Fiddling with the onyx ring on your finger, you slowly reached out to him. Silencing him with a kiss.

💛 Friend 💛

• Brings you your favourite sweets in a custom made box [tri-coloured like his shirt with stickers of your favourite animal/s on the box.] Which a custom, self-made plush swan is holding onto.

• Friend will take you to the cat café where you confessed to each other. He orders the valentine special, which is a strawberry milkshake with two straws and a plate full of diffrent sweet treats to share. [He will try to feed you and if you refuse he will pout, if you do feed him he will be happy but alsontease you.]

• Don't joke about marrying him on valentines, he will go and buy a ring if he doesn't have one already waiting in his pocket.

[Drabble]

Friend nuzzled his cheek against your neck, arms wrapped around your waist as he looked towards you.

Pink glowing eyes were reflecting the love he held for you. Such a deep love that simply couldn't be explained by mere words.

With a teasing grin, he took a bite out of the treat you held. Licking his lips as he whispered into your ear.

"As sweet as these are, I much prefer to take a bite out of you, Sweetheart.~"

📖 Robin 📖

• Made a reservation at a restaurant so you could share a classic romantic meal together, dance on the roof under the moonlight and share a special moment fit to be in a romance movie.

If you prefer an at home date, he would of course spoil you with a home-made meal & cuddles in his semi-eldritch/human form.

• His gift to you besides the classic flowers, jewellery, chocolate (made by Ellie because his somehow caught fire and almost burned down his kitchen.) Is a book he wrote for you, filled with every reason why he loves you and hopes that you stay with him until time itself ends.

• Would love to get a book you wrote yourself in return. He would treasure it and keep it somewhere safe, not wanting to risk it getting damaged by anyone.

The moonlight shone down upon you two, candles burned gently as the wind rushed through your hair. As you took a sip of your drink your eyes locked onto Robin.

Who sat there silenty, skimming through the book you gave him before suddenly closing it. Grabbing your hand he placed a kiss on each knuckle, whispering a gentle promise against your hand.

"I will treasure this gift like I treasure you, my beloved.~"

Meeting Reimagined; Keith

Author's Note: It's been a while since I've written for Duality, even though I think about it a lot. And I'm back with a new MC, Tytus!

Tytus sighs, annoyed by the cold rain pelting him harshly. As he jogs, he notices the flower shop he’s walked by everyday. He heads that way, figuring that the rain won’t let up for a while still. He dips into the shop and lets out a relieved breath. The floral air invades his nose while he looks around, making him hum in content. He jumps as a soft voice ahead of him says “Pretty bad weather today, huh?”

Tytus looks ahead at the counter, finding a tall blond man with blue eyes. The man gives him a shy and apologetic smile. “Hello, hi, sorry, I was in my head a bit. Yeah, the rain’s terrible right now,” he responds while giving an awkward laugh, “Is it okay if I stick around until the rain’s gone?”

“Oh, yes, that’d be fine. Feel free to look around while you’re here,” the blond cashier nods as he speaks. Tytus nods back, not giving him a second look. He scans the store, looking at the arrangements and other potted plants. After not finding what he’s looking for, he steps up to the counter. “Excuse me, do you have Bat Flowers?” He asks, scanning the cashier and finding his name card on a lanyard around his neck; Keith. 

“I’m sorry, we sold our last two this morning,” Keith says after a minute of thought and checking somethings. Tytus deflates a little, but desperately tries to rein in his reaction. “Oh, okay. Thank you,” He says. “We could take your number and call you when we get more?” Keith offers. “Ah, no thank you. I appreciate the offer though,” Tytus declines easily but he keeps talking, “but I would still like to get a plant. Do you have any recommendations? Preferably something that wouldn’t hurt a cat if it got eaten.” Keith lights up at the question.

“Of course! Spider plants, Echeveria succulents and Bird’s Nest Ferns are all pet friendly. Spider plants are actually notorious for being non toxic to animals. Boston Ferns are another option, but they're a little harder to care for,” Keith continues to explain how to care for each plant while pointing them out. Tytus watches him as he speaks, mesmerized by how outspoken he is. His passion would be obvious to even the most oblivious person. His whole body radiates joy and a bit of excitement. It’s a bit infectious, at least it is to Tytus. The green and black haired man can’t help but give the slightly shorter man his full attention. When Keith is done explaining, Tytus hums before saying, “I’ll go for the Spider Plant. You said they were over there, right?”

Keith nods and Tytus goes to retrieve it. As he carefully sets it on the counter, Keith asks, “Have you cared for any kind of plant before?”

“Yeah, actually. Mostly herbs and cat grass, though. I use the herbs when I’m cooking,” Tytus internally reminds himself to leave out any mentions of spells or potions. No telling how this guy would react, for now at least. He continues, “I used to have catnip, too, but my cat found and destroyed it when I wasn’t paying much attention. I haven’t had many plants that were there to just look nice.” Keith chuckles a little. As Tytus pays for his new spider plant, he notices that the rain has stopped. He looks back to Keith as he picks up the spindly plant. Before he even thinks to stop himself, he says, “Could I have your number?” Wait, fuck, shit SH--”Sorry, that was really sudden. You don’t have to agree to that.” He tacks that on, not sure if he’s already fucked up somehow.

The blond blushes as he registers the question, “Oh, I’m flattered!” His expression morphs quickly into one of sadness, “Don’t take this the wrong way. I think you’re very attractive and you seem like a nice person, but having my number isn’t a good idea.” Tytus’ brows knit together with confusion but he quickly shakes it off and nods. “That’s alright. Thank you for at least humoring me, and for helping me with the plant. Bye,” He says this as he walks towards the door while giving the blond a smile. He ducks out as suddenly as he came in.

Right as he starts walking home, a shiver crawls up his spine, tickling his neck and making him look around. He spares the shop window a glance, seeing Keith through it. He’s looking back at Tytus, but missing the polite smile. And something about his eyes seem……off. I don’t think they were like that before. He shakes it off and hurries away, content to get lost in his thoughts while minding his new plant buddy.

Birthday brings thoughts of secretly preparing breakfast, leaving a bouquet of white carnations (where I was looking for the meaning was: purity of thoughts, luck, mutual love and stable relationships) in front of the bed. Maybe a date at the botanical garden, and spending the evening in the home theater in a fort of pillows and blankets (I promise it will be comfy), oh and of course a massage, those arms didn't get a workout in vain, I have a black belt in relaxing others *laughs*. Oh and Keith.."If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk in my garden forever." *Sits with a loving look, and definitely 'doesn't' give a hand-knitted scarf, a collage of shared memories and a mysterious box with the signature 'I love you with all of my senses <3'
