#dude just play the Sims

Been obsessing over the idea of a Whumper who wants to live out a stereotypical family fantasy so they kidnap a few Whumpees to do it.

One Whumpee is their spouse. Whumpee is beautiful and caught Whumper's eye. They had a promising future before, but now they're stuck in this housewife role and have to suck up to their captor. They feel worse because they already have someone they love.

Another Whumpee is the kid. Whumper chose this one because of their small size and/or cute features. They have a cute bedroom, childish clothes, and limited access to information so they don't get too smart. They're also drugged most of the time so enjoy naps.

The last Whumpee is the pet. This one gets treated the worst. They have to act like a dog 24/7 and play fetch with the kid. Bonus points if this Whumpee was super cocky before and are now treated like an animal.

Whumper is the head of the household and makes sure everyone else stays in line. They want their family to be perfect, but they aren't against violence. They'll torture the Whumpees until "they love them again".

The Whumpees all befriend each other and plan to escape. They have to be careful so Whumper doesn't catch them, but they can't stay here.

I will laugh so hard if it turns out that John is making a sincere effort at being a decent parent and it's such an awful outcome for Gideon that I feel like it's plausible. He's giving off such man who thinks of himself as a good guy confronted with oops baby vibes.

I am trying so hard to behave myself and not start a hermit/empires/trafficsmp medieval sims 2 hood. Emphasis on trying because ooooops, Team ZITS.

I blame @redstonedust‘s hermitsims adventures.

I have other sims things to be doing. And my sims 2 sim making skills are gaaarbage. But sometimes you just gotta be rewatching Zedaph’s season 6 and making some vaguely blockpeople shaped sims I guess.

Like I’m not the BEST at testing my stuff before I share (as in sometimes I stumble on issues like blocked paths in builds after I post because when I tested there were less sims wandering around, and the realization that when the lot was in full swing and yoga practice was in session my sim was trapped if they had been in the meditating corner for example, or my cryptid hair’s braid which weights I barely noticed at first but then my sim started doing some more unique actions and WHOO BOY I need to fix that.)

but I honestly don’t get people who don’t test their items in-game at all??

Things can look completely different in game! Transparencies can be wonky! Normal and Shadow elements can look different as all hell! WHY IS THIS WOODEN BOOK SHELF AND ALL IT’S BOOKS LOOK LIKE IT’S BEEN COATED IN A INCH OF GLOSSY PLASTIC MY DUDE YOU REALLY NEEDED TO TUNE DOWN THAT SPECULAR.
