loser!heeseung overhears you talking about your favorite video game and immediately goes home and downloads it to see why you like it so much. he discovers pretty fast that he’s dogshit at it so he spends the rest of the night watching a full youtube gameplay video of it so he can pretend like he’s played it when he sees you next

you get really excited when he talks to you about it. and then you bring up a boss fight that took you forever and heeseungs stuttering because he might’ve fallen asleep for a few parts of the gameplay and he’s trying to pretend like he knows what you’re talking about

I don’t mind if people jump on my posts and tell me how I’m wrong/stupid/overlooking something. But I want to point out that there’s a HUGE difference between replying to a 5k note post and jumping onto a 5 note post to tell the OP how wrong and/or stupid they are.

Your need to be right is not more important than encouraging people to engage in fandom and pose questions or scenarios they enjoy. Yes, you might be right! And at the same time, your rightful criticism might intimidate, dishearten, or frustrate new/baby fans and keep them from engaging in your fandom.

If the only notes they have on their little what-if post is you telling them how wrong they are and flinging canon at them, is that really helpful or kind? Sure, maybe their take is totally OOC — but is it really impacting YOUR enjoyment of fandom?

Like I said, feel free to call me on my shit — I’ve been here, I can weather people being pissed at me for what I post. But I see way too many people lashing out at new or less knowledgeable fans in the comics fandoms, and it’s disappointing as hell.

Let it go. Let them enjoy their little scenario. Unless they are actively hurting other people somehow (unlikely with headcanons) take a breath and keep scrolling.

How It Actually Went Down

Zolt definitely got in a few scuffles with Lin in her beat cop days. After she gets promoted to captain she conducts a drug bust. The Terra Triad quickly dispenses of her men and moves the cactus dust out of the ware house. Then she runs out of her patrol car and comes in looking for a fight. Really, Zolt should be angry but watching her mop the floor with his men all he can think is 'Fuck, she has anger issues' . Then they fight one on one, it's brutal and drags on and on. They end up on the floor sparring. Fighting dirty; scratching, kicking, clawing. Damn minx even knees him in the groin. Finally, he claims victory. He enjoys the view of her pinned underneath him, with her arms held above her head 'I could get used to this' he muses. Of course when her back up arrives she disentangles herself from his grasp and scampers off. He's a little sad to see her leave but damn, does he love to watch her go.
