What's that?

2 years ago, I hosted a big collab for christmas then last year it was for the new year and it was quite nice and fun soooo...

This year, I'm hosting a big collab for Halloween to make some kind of a "family picture" with some of the dark cream ship children ! I thought about it and nor Cross or S!Dream will be in the picture as there aren't exactly the same depending on the child.

(there is one exception for someone but I dunno if she'll participate this year as usual I shall not assume ^^)

How to participate?

You need to have a dark cream/dark xunshine ship child (Cross x Shattered Dream kid). I'm making an exception for post dark cream kids ;). As long as Dream has been Shattered at one point, the kid can participate.

Draw your kid wearing a halloween outfit!

Send me the drawing or tag me on it so I can get it! The drawing must have a transparent background so I can easily edit it. If you put a watermark, please put it on the inside of your drawing so that I don't have to erase/move it to make place for the other children.

You need to send me the drawing before the 5th of october so I have time to edit it properly before the big day and in case there are some problems. (It can however be discussed if needed, exceptions will be accepted or refused case by case)

I'll post it the 31th of october (probably towards the end of the day) !

If someone without a kid wanna participate, you're welcome in the background+ team ^^

(being in the background+ team means drawing some elements of the background like halloween decorations or some other stuff. It's usually me and music fairy @diofasolia on that team)

I think they felt attacked because they're confused and misread the post(s).

Using references, photographs, custom brushes, 3D models is completely fine. I support all of that. Huge fan of sharing resources and tips and workarounds specifically.

Using work that has been scraped without consent as the foundation of your process is not fine. It's all about the ethical usage of materials and respecting other creators' work. I understand the anxiety a little, but honestly the line between 'theft' and 'fair use' is not that blurry. The line between 'reference' and 'theft' is not blurry either.

Another thing to consider: let's assume I come across an AI piece modeled on your art style. How can I find you — the source — if your watermark has been distorted and you're not credited as one of the data seeds? What if I want to boost your work and commission info? What if I want to pass a work opportunity your way? It's just not an ideal situation. 🥲

this is not the first song i have made i was previously a hyperpop artist for about 2 years, but since then ive lost all sense of rhythm and have turned to making shitty remixes of songs i like.

was working on a new logo/watermark last night, and i tried to export lots of variants to be prepared for different situations/uses, but after lining them all up like this i think perhaps there's such a thing as overpreparing lmao

(joking aside tho, i'm really happy with my results! designing stuff like this for myself is really fun, i've always enjoyed doing funky stuff with handwritten text. dunno how much i'll actually end up using the "candy wrapper" versions, but all of these are cool, i think!)
