Saw this post by @tomatoland (thank you, lovely) on how Force gives signals to Book whenever they kiss so he will remember how to take a breath.

This reminded me of the iconic AkkTheo balcony kiss from Enchanté Notice how Force subtly moved his fingers. I zoomed it in if you cannot see it.

The previous observation made me look carefully at the OurSkyy 2 X ABAAB episode 2 4/4, and look at what I found.

In case you missed it, Book looked breathless after the kiss.

This led me to rewind the specific part of the EP and violá!

Gun's hand moved to the back of Cher's neck sometime during the kiss. Who knows if he made the signal because it is followed up by a close-up shot.

A dissertation on Forcebook (Advantages of Tumblr... I can write a lot 🤣)

I'm a recent forcebook fan. Stumbled upon some tiktoks of them and got curious. Their banter reminded me of taynew in a way but with an even easier connection (understandable given how long they've known eo as later I found out).

Saw a boss and a babe. I had read about the show but hated the name, so give it a pass. Dumb decision. It's a good show, that makes sure to include some important messages (marriage equality, some BL viewers hipocrisy, gay acceptance) which personally I love. They acted well and have good chemistry.

I read bad reviews on Enchante but also watched it. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. Theo doesn't come off of it looking nice but at the same time he never expected the whole charade to become such a huge mess. So I get his character was unlikable for some and made the story unloved. However, I repeat the hate is not deserved.

Also watched their real show. It's sooo good. They bounce off each other really well and are super funny. They know how to host and entertain the viewers.

Overall, their work is good and improving. I'm looking forward to only friends. If I have any complaint it would be the kisses on Enchante were better than ABAAB. Still all good and I'd never manage to kiss a best friend like that any way.

Now... I see a lot of hate or disregard towards them that I feel is undeserved. First of all, they don't look a like. How can people mistake them is beyond me. Book has a lighter skin and bigger eyes, Forces eyes are smaller and his skin tanner. This even during Enchante. Now, Force clearly has a bigger build and Book is leaner.

I feel a lot of BL fans prefer the stereotype of one taller than the other or bigger (enter the top /bottom discourse). True that they are almost the same height and Force only recently got buffer. There's a lot of prejudice and stereotype even (or especially) among BL watchers...

Read some say "oh they were bad actors" but they adore other actors that besides visuals can't act to save their lives. In any case they've been growing as actors.

They're also apparently genuinely nice guys and I love how politically active Book gets and Force supports. Also both speaking up for marriage equality and pride month. A lot of BL actors (even big ones) do zero for the community, just using BL as a stepping stone to move to regular dramas but everyone turns a blind eye to that.

So I'm hoping their Fandom grows but remains non toxic and respectful. The odds aren't in their favor for all the reasons above but it's going well I think.

Thailand continuing its tradition of insisting everyone stays dressed during sex will never cease to amuse me.

Happy for Gun. He got to read Thyme for his entire life and bone the hot intern.

I'm still a bit confused by the back and forth between Gun and Cher. One second Cher seems confused by his feelings, the next he's complaining about Gun pulling away when he tried to get closer.

Not even surprised Aoi knew. Now I'm wondering if the "package delivery" was something she cooked up with Gun so he could give Cher a ride home.

I don't normally speculate on bedroom habits, but I will say between Gun's workout routine and Cher's ADHD, they're probably having more fun than all of us.

Cher saying Gun can't control him in episode 2, becoming Amelia Bedelia by episode 6 is the kind of character development I came here to see.

The addition of Gun having bodyguards made me laugh, because they would be quite necessary for someone like Gun. But eventually they'll become necessary for Cher, and I'd pay good money to see that mess play out.

I have a theory that Thoop (sp?) is paying a private investigator to look into what actually happened to Tian, which is why he's borrowing the money.

Gun called it 'our company' when talking to Cher. He wants him to stay so badly. Ugh, I can't with these two charming fuckers.

Cher getting laid, then going out to eat with his friends and being the voice of reason was peak character development. The narrative really said, "The dick was so good it cured his ADHD."

I've thought about this a lot, and my ghost ship is PorscheCher.

When writing BoP did u take any inspiration from the GAP series?

Oh, absolutely! I don’t know if you were following me during my GAP era, but I was obsessed. (And that’s putting it mildly). And then right in the middle of GAP, we got the Moonlight Chicken trailer with First playing Alan (the suit! the glasses!) and thus the idea was born. I actually tracked down the exact gifset that shook the thought loose in my brain. It was this one by @gunsatthaphan so thank you to them for the inspiration! 💕

But other than the office setting, I don’t actually think there were a lot of overt similarities between BoP and GAP simply because Mon and Sam are vastly different people than Akk and Ayan. Maybe Akk got a little bit of Sam’s indifference? I loved how in GAP Sam literally could not have cared less whether she was fired or not—she was just happy to be in love. Akk was the same way. Willing to risk it all for some good dick 😂

Ironically, I think ABAAB ended up being more similar to BoP than GAP did. And if Step by Step had aired earlier, I think I would have taken a lot of inspiration from that as well. But out of the three, I still think GAP executed the workplace romance trope the best. They’re the only ones who gave me office sex!!

the speed at which shows can be put out and some ppl being surprised always makes me laugh. tbf things get rushed a lot and it's not ideal, but iirc, nlmg & msp started and finished filming in the fall and aired december. im pretty sure vice versa aired ep 7 the week filming wrapped. ourskyy2 had fast turn around time too. so crazier things have happened imo. i actually get surprised when they take a while. like umg was filmed last summer so it felt like forever waiting for ep 1 to drop. or abaab & bmf & mlc starting filming like 6ish months before airing. idk but they got filmed in the summer or fall and didn't air til the next spring-ish. for me i sort of expect shows to come out quickly lol. like during filming or a month after. even if that's not actually the norm.

yes, things get rushed and that's exactly the problem of mass production. it's always quantity > quality and I'm sorry but that's something I will never get used to.

I'm surprised that they're working so fast because they're working with a schedule that I'm not familiar with. I work in postproduction and I realize these are different projects but depending on the production it takes at least 7-8 months before an episode of something goes on air and up to 1-1.5 years for movies and there are countless steps that are being reiterated in the process in order for the product to be presentable so I just can't comprehend how they're working so fast and airing their stuff while still shooting at that (which is working harder not smarter) but then looking at the sloppy editing and abysmal sound of most of these shows I guess it shouldn't be so surprising. gotta make compromises somewhere. And needless to say the difference in the ones that take their time is more than obvious e.g. be my favorite, moonlight chicken etc.

I really hope the theme for MSP/Tinngun in Our Sky 2 isn’t body switch😭 I absolutely despise body switching shows/movies. That was the theory fans had made when the pictures of them filming came out, Gemini even tried to deny it in a live stream LMFAOO, but why do I feel like the trailer is confirming it. Hopefully I’m incorrect, hoping it’s just a role reversal and not a body switch. Edit: I watched a bit closer it’s def giving role reversal, we escaped the curse of a body switch 😮‍💨

I’m glad they understood that Enchanté was not it and decided to give us GunCher. When they released the first OUR SKYY 2 trailer during the GMMTV2023 showcase I thought I was gonna skip the ForceBook episode only for ABAAB to deliver. Forcebook deserved better and got that. ❤️

I’m really on the fence about watching the bad buddy/patpran episode. Idk, I unfortunately have a bad taste in my mouth which isn’t letting me separate the art from the artists *heavy sigh*. Hopefully that’ll change when I see people’s gifs when it airs.

Our Skyy 2 Live Blogging

They really filmed the episodes for this in parallel and it was fun and chaotic to get all the spoilers for them. This is one my GMMTV's 2023 most anticipated shows, so I'm very excited.

My most anticipated are Bad Buddy, My School President, and The Eclipse. Then, NLMG > 1000 Stars = SIMM > Vice Versa and I don't plan on watching ABAAB. Bad Buddy was my most anticipated when the announcement happened because it's my favourite BL and I miss Pat and Pran so much T.T but since then, My School President has aired and I care about seeing both the characters and actors in that (NobiGun I'm gonna scream for 80 years); I don't care about ONN as a ship for Bad Buddy and I don't really care about seeing more of The Eclipse but rather am mostly excited for KhaoFirst. So now it's MSP > BBS > Eclipse

Never Let Me Go Apr 19, 22, 23

The actual show left me with a meh feeling but I really liked this historical time travel soulmates nonsense. It was cute and fun and I'm happy to have seen Nueng and Palm one more time. Also the Ep 2 part 1 beach kiss from the present time took me by surprise but it was great. Also think it's funny that we traded 1 Dangerous Romance couple in NLMG (Perth/Chimon) for another (Marc/Pawin).

Ep 2 (Apr 27): So much more boring rip it's like how Kluen and Nuea got boring in the actual SIMM show once they got together. also sad that we didn't even get Nay/Sean but still had to abandon Sean/Maitee for them rip.

The Eclipse - May 5

It's my first week at work + my laptop charger stopped working, so I didn't watch this during release but am watching on Friday.

Ep 1: My beloved beautiful KhaoFirst back on screen, hello. I'm actually a big lover of established relationships + conflicts in such a relationship, so I like this in theory but I feel like I couldn't quite understand what was going on or what was making them be so irritated at each other and also the characters esp Ayan were a bit ? to me if we compare them to their The Eclipse selves; I think a longer show where we could see patterns of behaviour would've been so good if this was a longer series. Also they're sooo cute in part 4 ahh Ayan trying to make up with sulking Akk and Akk just being like ">:( sometimes you make me feel so good and other times you're horrible"

Ep 2: ahh friendship is magic Akk-Wat-Kan conversation with them wholeheartedly supporting Wat without glorifying his decision - even if his directorial dreams fail, they'll still support him T.T

I got spoiled since ep 1 aired that Aye was planning a surprise while pretending to forget Akk's birthday and yeah, it's dumb to make somebody sad for 2 weeks for a surprise smh also since his friends knew, they should've shaken some sense into him .

Anyway, very horny ending, nice.

Overall: They have some very good things I love (established relationships going through some problems or navigating things, lovely friendships and supportive friends, lots of pecks and cute kisses) with some things that will forever annoy me (I think this sort of "surprise" is bad and mean agh) and also Ayan didn't quite feel like The Eclipse Ayan. The parts that were good made me smile though, I like KhaoFirst a lot.

Tangentially related but now I'm wishing KhaoFirst are in a slightly serious drama about an established couple going through a rocky period - but not like tooooo dramatic or with big consequences like divorce or custody battles or anything. more like alan/wen where they still love each other but keep hurting each other (not via cheating though) and make it back together by the end.

Vice Versa - May 10

I get why people keep up with weekly shows, I haven't been able to binge any show since I started work/internship but coming home to watch an episode is fun and doable. But I think this pretty much only works because it's a 2-episode arc that's gonna end the same week rather than watch 1 ep and think abt it the whole week.

Ep 1: I didn't really care about Vice Versa or Puen/Talay or JimmeySea but this episode was fairly cute, good for watching while somewhat paying attention but not really analyzing or thinking. I also liked that the kid shows up like 2/3 of the way in and we get some o the couple being coupley before that

Ep 2: Boring and idc and also slightly annoying with the secret thing

I'm so excited for next week MSPxOurSkyy, idc if people are sad it's the same scenes and not college Tinn/Gun. i’m forever a lover of flipping dynamics + we get Nobigun so i’m hyped

Question about Episode 6 of ABAAB

In part 3 of ep 6 Gun says that there’s nothing they can do about Thyme/Time taking the game but I’m confused. Because if thyme was working for the company when he presented that idea then that means it was company property because it was developed during company time. BUT thyme also says he didn’t take money from Gun when he left the company so does that mean he was never paid and therefore never an employee which makes him taking the game idea legal? Or is he saying he didn’t get severance? I just want to understand because it’s kindoff a plot hole that would bother me. Because if he was an employee they can definitely still sue him.
