You walked in the door, setting down your backpack at the door and stretched your back. The clock read 6:24, you were tired, and you still had to tend to your hair and shower.

You groaned as you remembered the hours you had spent in that salon chair while the hair dresser tugged on your hair and colored it. Deciding getting done was a matter of the sooner the better, you took off towards the bedroom to go shower.

“Oh.. mikey. You’re home early!” you exclaim as you hide your hair with your hands as he glaces up from his phone.

“the gang meeting eas canceled today so I came home to see you more.” he says as he sets his phone down and opens his arms.

“Cant. Gotta shower.” you say quickly as you grab random clothes and rush towards the bathroom.

“What’s up with your hair?”

You turn around in disbelief as he examines it, scared he would be mad about your unnecessary spendings on your hair.

“nothing…” you mumble as you accept your defeat and show your hair fully.

“It fits you, I quite like it.” he says with a smile as he gets up and hugs you, rubbing circles on your hip as you sway back and forth.

“Gotta say, it caught me off guard. It’s brighter than your normal black hair.” he says with a chuckle as you mumble a small “no duh” in his chest.

“But go wash that out, it smells like absolute vomit enducing shit.” he says with a scowl as he ushers you towards the bathroom, enducing a laugh.
