NEW OVERNIGHT: Former Veteran Music Radio Anchor 'Norma Marco' of DZMM died [#TeleRadyoSerbisyoEXCLUSIVE]
Tumblr media
QUEZON, MANILA -- A former veteran DZMM-AM Radyo Patrol 630 music anchor 'Ms. Norma Marco' of 'Remember When…' and substitute late night radio host of 'Private Nights' has died Thursday (August 15th, 2024) after four (4) years of cancellation, instead of hiatus by mid-March 2020, due to previously anticipated nationwide congressional franchise shutdown of ABS-CBN with a former Philippine president 'Rodrigo Roa Duterte' and a global pandemic of Coronavirus Disease-19 (CoViD-19).
Before the rebrand and a callsign change of Radyo 630 in Metro Manila and around the Philippines at DZMM Teleradyo (now officially rebranded as 'TeleRadyo Serbisyo'), a music radio programme plays music of the 60s, 70s and 80s, and it was all started in the late-mid August 2013 after 'Yesterday: Sunday Edition' with the late-Richard Enriquez.
Song requests and dedications in the adlib-like segment making nostalic memories in music. It was named after the song from 'The Platters' of the same name, and is also their theme song of the music programme. Rod Izon and Reggie Valdez are the last weekend substitute music radio anchors in pre-Radyo 630 days.
Her health condition came too late to inquire, and she was aged at 76 y/o at Veronica Memorial Chapel in Libertad, Pasay City, National Capital Region on Saturday night at 6pm for the public viewing on August 17th, and is laid to rest at Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City, this said region by next Thursday morning (August 22nd, 2024).
OneNETtv Channel and TeleRadyo Serbisyo: Dumaguete & Manila expresses its condolences to their families left in her legacy of music selections by Ms. Marco.

The internal gain stages are pre-matched for performance and stability across the entire station.Īccording to them, that is often necessary because the best locations for an antenna are on top of a mountain, where a much shorter tower is required, but where a studio is completely impractical. Unlike older STL models that they have, the power amplifier combined with a wideband synthesizer means no tuning is required. Each transmitter is equipped with a wideband power amplifier to produce a radiated output power that is adjustable from the front panel up to 30 watts in most bands. Studio Transmitter Link or STL transmitters provide the value and features demanded by today’s broadcasters.
#DZMM RADYO PATROL 630 ONLINE SERIAL#
Most of their video switcher are targeted at the professional market, with newer analog models having component video connections and digital ones using Serial Digital Interface Additionally, most of the their video switcher can perform keying operations and generate color signals called mattes. One of their radio segment that has more than 50 effects is “Failon ngayon: Ted Failon.”Īccording to them, their video switcher is way different from the old switcher that they used because it has hard cuts which allows them to switch directly between two input signals, mixers can also generate a variety of transitions, from simple dissolves to pattern wipes. This is similar to what a mixing consoledoes for audio. In addition, wireless “hot spots” in locations such as airports, parks, and cafes allow them to connect to the Internet and enables them to use VoIP service wirelessly.Īs far as I can remember, a digital video switcher or vision mixer is a device that they use to select between several t video sources and in some cases compositing or mixing video sources together to create special effects. According to them their VoIP services is different and more high-tech because they are allowed to call other people using the same service, but then can also call anyone who has a telephone number – including local, long distance, mobile, and international numbers. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is one of their new technology that allows them to make voice calls using a Internet connection instead of a regular phone line. So now, let us proceed to the new equipments of those two radio stations that we visited.īased on our interview. Staffed by eight DJs, DZYK-FM 102.1 MHz was popularized to listeners in Metro Manila area. In 1957, CBN bought Alto Broadcasting System (ABS) resulting in a merger under the name Bolinao Electronics Corporation, later named ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation in 1967. DZYK-FM was founded in 1956 and played oldies music and the latest songs of that time. The next one is M.O.R 101.9 ( My Only Radio For Life )ĭZYL-FM 102 MHz, later named DZYK-FM 102.1 MHz, is the first FM radio station in the Philippines and sole FM station of the former Chronicle Broadcasting Network (CBN). The first one is DZMM which is located inside the ELJ Building.ĪBS-CBN DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 (630 kHz Metro Manila) is the flagship AM station of ABS-CBN Corporation in the Philippines. But before anything else, I will just give a quick and simple history about the radio station we visited. We are not allowed to take some photos of their new equipments/machines but they explained those devices to us. Earlier this year,we visited two radio stations under ABS-CBN which is DZMM and M.O.R 101.9.

ang hirap pala na andiyan ka
ayokong umalis ka, gusto ko nasa tabi mo lang ako pero ano naman kapalit
i'm always at arms length from you
close enough to touch
pag sayo palaging may hangganan
kahit ata bente kwatro oras kitang makasama
magmula sa unang salita ni dr. love tuwing madaling araw sa dzmm
hanggang huling balita na ipapakita sa sanbandila
kahit pitong araw sa isang linggo
hanggang dun lang talaga tayo

Tumblr media
(Written by Rhayniel Saldasal Calimpong / Freelanced News Writer, Reporter and Presenter of OneNETnews)
BACOLOD, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL -- The world of radio and music broadcasting is in mourning on Wednesday as the news of the sudden and untimely passing of a veteran broadcaster and beloved music radio disc jockey host named Jose Steele Enriquez Jr., known to millions as 'DJ Richard Enriquez' rocks the airwaves overnight.

He was 59 y/o and was a prominent figure in the Philippine music radio scene and a fixture at DZBB-AM 594khz's Super Radyo: Manila within just a few years today on the air. He reportedly passed away on October 25th, 2023 (Quezon and Bacolod local time), a week after his unexpected health issue at a final music radio show called 'Golden Memories'.

DJ Jose Richard Steele Enriquez Jr., whose born in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental was a name synonymous with the world of radio entertainment. He began his remarkable journey in the 1990s thru DWDM-FM's Pinoy Radio DM 95.5mhz (which now as Eagle FM 95.5). His talent for connecting with listeners and curating the best music for their enjoyment propelled him to greater heights in the industry. Soon, he found his way to ABS-CBN radio before under DZMM-AM Radyo Patrol 630khz: Manila (which also now as DWPM-AM Radyo 630) in the 2010s.
With his distinct voice and warm personality, DJ Richard became an integral part of their lives of many radio enthusiasts. His 'Golden Memories' show was a beloved music and occasional news program in the top-of-the-hour newsbreak segment part, taking listeners on a nostalgic journey through the classics that transcended generations like us. His dedication to preserving the timeless melodies earned him a special place in the hearts of his targeted audience.
It's important to note that DJ Richard's untimely departure raises the question of an unfulfilled dream. Some had speculated that he might venture into hosting a music radio show at Super Radyo: Iloilo, given his possible roots in the relay station to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental via DYSB-AM 1179khz. His connection to the regional music scene, along with his undeniable talent, hinted at the potential for a future in his beloved hometown, before he was moved to Quezon City, Manila, National Capital Region.
But sadly, that dream will remain unattained, as we mourn his sudden loss. His legacy transcended the boundaries of this so-called AM-radio relay in Bacolod City, leaving an indelible mark on the entire nation.
